I'm based in the DC area and we have recurring Zoom meetings which all provided the same Maryland number:Dial by your location+1 301 715 8592 US (Washington DC) The number when dialed from a Landline doesn't work (Error received: You call cannot be completed as dialed...). We tested from multiple landlines and none worked. Other numbers (like NY 646 prefix) work fine on both.

Can you set voicemail to a default PIN and the user is forced to change that pin after accessing VM.Trying to avoid 200 users having to login to portal to see their PIN number.No tech notes show up when I searched.

Hi there, I recently diverted my mobile phone to my zoom phone number, and for a while it was working fine. But, recently, it is not working at all. When I dial my mobile number, it does nothing - no dial tone, just dead! However, I am receiving my text messages, which tells me my mobile number is working but there seems to be a problem with call diversion. Anyone have any idea/experience with this? Would appreciate your help. Cheers,KayGee

The below has been confirmed with Zoom tech support: Zoom had a hard limit on 3 ad hoc audio con calls. in October of this year 2022, they raised it to 10. However, that 10 number is only for the soft phone or mobile apps. Any physical "phone" from poly, cisco, etc.; are still limited to only 3 ad hoc audio con calls. Zoom is working to get this address in 2023, but there is not a firm timeline as to when it will be addressed. 

Forgive me if I've missed the documentation but are there any QOS diagnostics inside the Zoom Admin Console or in Analytics and Reports for Zoom Phone Power Pack?  Something with Cradle to Grave detail on packet loss or delay?

I am new to Zoom Phone and am trying to set up the Auto Receptionist to allow the user to look up an extension by typing in the first 3 letters of the user's name they are looking for. Is this possible?

with two extensions is it possible to have 1 go directly to VM, no ring.  The other extension would function as normal.   if it requires a callQ or shared line, no problem. Nothing is jumping out at me.    All I can think is to create an Auto Attendant and have this line number be the only number. 

Hi, I am struggling...to say the least. My phone is registered in the zoom account. It shows it is  "offline" - so I am assuming need to provision them. I am running into two issues. 1) phone base is saying IP address is 0.0.0.0. 2) when trying to use the provisioning URL provided from zoom to access the web portal for the phone https://provppobi.zoom.us/api/v2/pbx/provisioning/Polycom/d230/${mac}.xmlI get the following error message on the webpage: 400 Bad RequestNo required SSL certificate was sentI am in a building with other businesses - so I don't have direct access to the building's internet, etc. Not sure what to do. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!   

Since moving to Zoom Phone from another VOIP provider, we're noticing some incoming caller ID names are showing only as the City or Province (Canada) instead of the proper name.  Some callers do show up correctly.  I know with mobile callers this is pretty typical, but what's new here is landline callers not showing up properly. I know the Canadian system works different from US.  But this issue is mostly new with Zoom.  Is there any way to create a "global" contacts list for the company that we can use to override some frequent callers' IDs? Many thanks.

Does anybody know Multi-party conferencing works with poly vvx-350 to allow more than 3 in an adhoc  audio conference 

Hi, we have Poly Voyager 4230 UC headsets connected to Macs but the answer button does not pick up any Zoom Phone calls into the client. I've tried using bluetooth connection only, the supplied bluetooth dongle, the Poly Lens software as well, toggling the Sync buttons on headset option, but nothing works. Speakers and Mics work fine (but Mute on headset is not reflected in the client). I paired the headset to a phone and could use the answer button on the Zoom Mobile App on a Zoom Phone call, so the button isn't broken. This is meant to be a Zoom certified product so annoyed its not working fully.

back to my exec and assistantshave one exec whose account is in the cloud only. no active softphone, no physical deskphone. His phone is delegated to two exec assists.  But when I call his number, none of his lines ring on the delegated phones the assistants have (soft or physical). the calls make a quick "chrip" (missed call) on the delegates phone, then go directly to vm.  if I change from Voice mail to "fwd to extension" if the call is not answered, then I get a "missed call" on the delegated line, and naturally it rings on the extension we defined. Is this normal behavior? Would a shared call Q or shared line do the same thing? I might have to conceed on a shared mailbox to have this work the way it did on call manager with just 3 steps. zoom is turning into 200 steps.  Arggghhh!! 

I have vvx-350 and the client it has one DID number on it. When I am on the phone, someone calls me from external number, I get a "flash" from the desktop client and it goes to VM.   I have call waiting set for 30 seconds.  how many concurrent calls can a zoom DID take?   Cisco call manager you could allow each line take 4-6 inbound calls at once.  Please don't tell me I have to make an executive line now a Call q? Apply all the Q settings if there were 10 people getting calls just for 2 people to see inbound calls, put them on hold, transfer them, join them to an audio conference, etc.    powerpack add-on is enabled and still same result       

The user has a pro lic, but they can only conference in 3 people.Anyone seen this before? the zoom faq's say 3 for basic and 10 for pro.  I have a ticket open with support about it also .

When our zoom phone is set to Call Distribution - SEQUENTIAL, a call comes into the first user in the sequence but isn't then going to the next user if user 1 is busy.  All users are logged in and available for calls in the system.

Boss has two lines on phone.  Sec is delegated to get the bosses lines. However, now they only want the sec to "see" only 1 of the 2 lines on the boss's phone.  I tried editing phone template and removing extra line that way. no luck. Didn't even attempt with the softphone.    thanks!

Hi All, I'm wondering if there is a way to grant users (non admins) privileges to review other users call recordings. For example I have Becky, Sarah, Jason, and Jim all in the same team. If Becky is talkings to customer xyz and customer xyz references a conversation he had with Sarah, does Becky have the ability to go and see ALL of Sarahs call recordings? I'd prefer for these users not to have to reach out to me as it would make my Job alot harder

Our office recently migrated to zoom. Sporadically our reception team cannot warm transfer calls, for instance not available in the morning, but ok in the afternoon or vice versa. They are using the softphone system. It does not matter if the person they are warm transferring to has the mobile app or desktop app, same result. All users are operating on the most current version of zoom. All users who are attempting to initiate the warm transfers have the powerpak licenses. Today I toggled on and off call overflow, call transferring, and call handling/forwarding in account settings, then had my team log out and log in. It seemed to do the trick. They had access to warm transfers again. However, this seems like it might be a bit of a pain to do every day. Any ideas on how to resolve this issue permanently?

Is there a way to auto-create new contacts for inbound / outbound phone numbers that are not already in our Salesforce environment? I see it featured in this youtube video (9:45 minutes in) but I can't find any documentation for this.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8GY0yMFFmRM&t=732sAlso wondering if there is a way to REQUIRE fields captured on the call log after the call before the task is created in salesforce?

I continue to be baffled as to how it is I cannot paste a phone number when bringing up the keypad dialer on the mobile app.   I keep thinking there must be a way.  If not, what is the best work around besides writing the number down and manually dialing it?  🙂  

I come from Cisco call manager background. The way it shares a line is you can "put" that line on a physical phone, anyone's phone provided they have to open space.    The line will ring on all phones that have this number.  My exec assistants have their personal line need to have and the lines of two other exec's on their Poly vvx-350s.    Was under the impression that zoom allows 10 phone numbers assigned to a single user.  Can't I just add the two exec lines to my Exec Asst Zoom phone?    Also, my numbers are still in "pending my port". Do the numbers have to be "hot" before I can assign them to the poly vvx-350 and have them show as line 2, line 3 etc?   The execs line should have its own voicemail not a shared mailbox.  Shared lines can only dump VM to a shared line vmbox, so shared line isn't the solution.   

I have a user that I have assigned two number to them. both are in process of being ported. I need a 3rd number (in process being ported) when I try to find it, number isn't there. But this number is assigned to a mgr. need the Sec to also have that number/line on phone.  

I can't find this anywhere. I want to reduce the # of rings or time before a call goes to voicemail.Its taking way too long to get to voicemail.  

We have two call queues, CS and CSO.  Calls comes into the CS queue, and if no-one can answer (busy, no pickup) it it goes to the CSO queue. Members in the CS queue are also members in the CSO queue (amongst others). For the Call History in the Zoom App it shows if a call was answered by a CS member all other CS members can see that in the their Call History. But if the call has to go to the second call queue CSO, and a CS member answers the call from that queue, history shows to all CS members (except the answerer) that a call was missed in the CS queue, and only the member who answered the call from the CSO queue can see it was answered. This has caused some CS members to call back the "missed" number, when it didn't need to happen. I'd really like it that all the CS members should see the call is answered in the CSO queue just like it happens for the CS queue. Interesting enough, I am not in CS but in CSO, and I can see the call was answered by a member of the CSO queue.&nbs
