Hello all, I have a single Zoom Phone line that I use for my small, one-man show side LLC. In my day job, I have 40 users on RingCentral/AT&T Office at Hand. I'm working on the 10DLC / TCR registration for both entities. In working with RingCentral, I noticed that registration fees, campaign fees, violations for non-usage, etc. are all billable events. With Zoom Phone, I don't see any mention of charges, and it looks like Zoom will proactively delete any campaigns without phone numbers assigned after 60 days so that there are no charges? Am I missing something? If not, Zooms process / lack of little add-ons seems much smoother, but I wanted to make sure I'm not missing something! If there's the risk of 10DLC/SMS charges coming in the future, I'll likely just disable Zoom Phone SMS to avoid possible issues. I'm not a volume texter, and my closest clients have my personal cell anyway if a text is needed.

How do I change the outbound caller ID for all users?  I don't want their direct phone number showing, only either their name or our main company phone number.

I run a business and handle some admin work after business hours. I am trying to set up a new profile and the site requires text verification. I just realized, after never receiving the texts from the company, and not receiving my own test texts, that SMS doesn't work beyond the set phone hours. What is that about? AND there are no separate features to manage SMS apart from other phone features. This service is not as dynamic as advertised.

Hi all. Need you expertise 🙂 When my clients calling me from landlines to my local zoom phone number, they get a prompt saying 'you are trying to call a long distance number, please dial 1 before phone number'. I have no clue as to how to resolve the issue. Weird thing is that, calls coming from cell phones have no issues at all. Really appreciate you help

Just purchased a Yealink T54W with the purpose of having each line key show a call queue for the user the desk phone was assigned to.  This was so that each "line" would ring as the call queue was ringing and so the user could also dial out by selecting that line and use that call queue to make outbound calls.  For the life of me, I cannot figure out how to accomplish this.  Can anyone help me get this done?  Thank you!

Got a question about call queue members who might have set their divert to voicemail timeout very short, does the call queue settings override this? eg. Say a member of the call queue set their send to voicemail after 10sec of ringing, but the call queue settings have send to voicemail after 60 secs, does the member's phone ring for 60s if the call came though the call queue, and direct calls to the member only ring for 10sec before going to their personal voicemail?

Hey all, We have a client on the zoom phone service that we manage that are getting reports from other companies that the caller ID for them calling in shows TEST. Any ideas where this could be specified or changed in the zoom admin console? Thanks!

Not sure if I posting in the right place... When a colleague calls me on Zoom, I get notified via a window that says who is calling, and also a ringtone on my laptop. If I am away from my desk, I obviously don't hear the desktop notification and at the moment that same call doesn't come through on my iPhone..Zoom App is installed, I'm logged in, and notifications are on.What can I do to get incoming calls on my phone, as well as my laptop? Have had a look around and can't see any answers, not is there an obvious option for this in settings

We want to restrict users to forward call to international number and only restrict it to user's country code phone number. This is to avoid abuse for international calling by using call forwarding.

I have a lobby phone (common area) that i dont want customers to be able to make external calls with.  Is there a way to restrict a phone from making calls to external numbers?  I have tried the block external numbers but that only seems to work for inbound calls from external numbers.

With the last update the of Zoom Phone Appliance app for the Yealink VP59 (5.14.2 (2889)): 1. Desktop Call Control when Connected to allow Remote Dialing from the desktop now makes the Zoom desktop app Active as if it were included in the Call Handling for the User (even though Zoom Desktop Apps is not turned on for the User). This causes the Zoom Desktop App to show incoming call pop-ups and sounds. It did not work that way previously, and kind of defeats one of the purposes of using Call Control. 2. Invited Contacts (labelled as External in the Zoom Desktop App), are showing up on the Yealink VP59 ZPA interface in the list when you proceed to transfer a phone call. Previously, this was only the External Contacts set up on the Zoom web portal under Phone System Administration > Company Info > Account Settings > External Contacts + the Internal Users Extension Numbers and they were presented in alphabetical order. Hi all, I want to try the Zoom phone with ZOHO CRM and desk. I will sign up for a number to test. Is there an option to select a number for an area code or see a list of number available to chose from, or is it all random? Also anyone using Zoom phone in ZOHO CRM and Desk? Thanks

Poly Voyager 4310 UC - USB-A – Mono I have a user where we have installed the above headset, but the button on the side of the earpiece does not answer a call. You can hear the announcement on the headset that the call is being answered, but nothing happens. I then logged on to the computer with my own account, and the headset works perfectly. So there appears to be a setting on the users Zoom account that is preventing this feature to work. I have also tried plugin the headset into different USB ports, but it doesn't make any difference. Does anyone have any ideas what the issue could be here? Thank you in advance.John

Hi folks! Hoping to see if anyone else has run into a prickly audio/connection issue we can't seem to solve. I've been using Zoom Phones at work for two years with essentially no issues. In the last two weeks, a new issue has cropped up. *Sometimes* when connecting to a call I will not be able to hear callers, even though they can hear me. When this happens: - Zoom displays a, "Poor network connection. Audio quality may be affected." notice.- Testing the speaker settings, I can hear the "beeps" loud and clear.- I am not experiencing slowdowns or throttling in any other manner - or any other audio issues - on any other application while this occurs. Consistent 350 down/20 up.- Restarting the app sometimes fixes this and sometimes does not.- Restarting the computer sometimes fixes this and sometimes does not.- Zoom, the computer, and the router are up to date update-wise. 

Hi, I'm trying to set up some call routing but am struggling to find the perfect option to suit our needs. We are a small single location office with 6 users.2x admin team2x production2x other team members We are wanting incoming calls to:- ring on the 2x admin phones in the first instance, IF not picked up in X second- ring on both the 2x admin phones & 3x production phones We would also like the 2x other team members to be able to pick up the queue if they can hear it ring. We can see the call pick up codes - however it appears they need to be part of the call queue to make this work. What's the best setup to achieve this?

Hello,I'm trying to see what the steps are for customers to leave a voicemail under a certain extension of ours when they call in after hours or on Holiday hours?  I set up names and greetings for each of our extensions but what does the customer hear when they call in after hours?  Are they giving a list of names or options to hit?Thanks!

Hello Community, Looking for some suggestions, ideas, on how you would handle this type of scenario (if you've run into this). Context: We recently moved to Zoom Phone (less than a year) and we've gone away with traditional desk phones (everything soft phone in offices, exceptions for common area phones/emergency phones). The biggest issue we are running into at this stage is, a large number of our users just don't remember or think to ever log in. Some even don't even realize they aren't logged in.  We've done full "mandatory" training sessions leading up to the transition to Zoom for everyone. There are training materials  and reference documents that we've shared with our users and made available  for them to access. We've sent comms out to our users with reminders to be signed in etc... What else is there?! lo

Hello-We are looking to track certain values every month and I have some questions on how to run reports to obtain the following. Total number of incoming callsNumber of those calls answeredNumber of those calls the caller abandoned before being answered Number of those calls that were forwarded to the back up call centerCallers average wait timeAverage call handle time (I believe this one would be taking the average of the "duration" column)I did go into reports and using the sort feature. I see in the "Call Connected" column, some say Key 1 and some have --. Can you explain what those mean?
