Is anyone successfully using click to call within the desktop version of Outlook to dial contacts with Zoom phone?  I have the Zoom Outlook Plugin v5.17.0 installed.   That added the "Schedule a Meeting" buttons but right clicking on a contact and selecting Call still does nothing. It seems to work everywhere else:  Clicking a properly formatted hyperlink works within a browser.   Highlighting a number anywhere and pressing the global keyboard shortcut.  

Here is the scenario.  I remote from DC. My main office is in Atlanta.  I am logged into zoom on both.  Why?  I am glad you asked, I use Microsoft RDP on a mac and unfortunately when doing a zoom meeting there is not VDI for Mac's to work with Microsoft RDP so in order to get the video and audio quality, I have to take the meetings on my zoom and not inside the RDP.  With that being said, I am CONSTANTLY bombarded all day long with emails saying I need to update my emergency location or I get the red location symbol.  I am not the only one as I have other users who are experiencing the same.  No matter how many times I or they update it, a day or two later it's requesting to update again.  I am an admin and we have sites.  I don't want to disable on the whole site but I also don't want to keep getting these messages.  Is there a work around for this?  Thanks in advance.

Has anyone had issues with phones not resyncing from Zoom portal, but are registered? It seems firewall related but based on the logs I'm not seeing anything be blocked. 

Hello I setup zoom phone, when I call from the zoom phone app I can make outgoing calls. When I call my zoom number from an outside number, it automatically goes to voicemail. I've noticed in the backend there's an company number and an extension. In the phone settings under call handling, I cannot forward calls to the extension as the name and extension is there but it's grayed out. How do I allow for when someone calls the main company number it's transferred to an extension?

Hi, we're using the Zoom app for salesforce, version, 3.30, and live calls are not showing on zoom phone widget in Salesforce any longer.  It only shows the number, but one is unable to log a call live or even end the call from the phone widget.  Ending the call must be done from the Zoom app.This issue appeared to pop up when I changed the CTI adapter URL to the enhanced domain URL to fix click to dial.  Any suggestions as to how to get full functionality back?

Once after calling Medicare phone number, if we type "*" & "Any Numbers" as an response for IVR prompts for example (2*46*212*) getting an error stating "Park Call Failed, please try again". Any ways to fix this issue?

Hi there,I was wondering if there was a way to make an agent in a call queue aware of the number the caller dialed.  For example, if we have landing pages with different numbers attached to an auto receptionist with an IVR into a call queue, I would like the agent to know which number the customer called so they can infer which landing page the caller was on when they initiated the call.  Am I making sense?  So instead of showing the call is coming from the "support queue" they it would show the caller dialed, let's say, the sales 800 number from the sales page on our website.  Any insights?  Thanks in advance. 

Before I try to reinvent the wheel on our network;  Curious if anyone has experience with doing 802.1x authentication for physical phones on their network.We currently use ClearPass with device profiling, and are looking to implement 802.1x on the physical phones in the environment.   Our legacy Cisco phone system utilizes CAPF certificates, which ClearPass keys-in on... However, Zoom does not offer any similar type of method.Beyond that, the only 'certificate' based option would be to use the device MIC, but that's not particularly secure.Anyone have a solution here?  We would like to avoid doing manual entry of MAC addresses, and make this a seamless Plug-n-Play solution.Thanks in advance. 

If I am in the Philippines using my Zoom Australian license can i still make unlimited calls to Australian/New Zealand numbers? 

Hi If I have 10 users with unlimited US/Canada plan and I want to add a common area phone. Will it be charged a separate license? Another question - how many IP phones I can associate with one user?

How can I fix zero-touch provisioning on our hundreds of new-in-box vvx250 polycom phones? Some auto-provision on first boot, as advertised.Some fail and must be factory reset.  After the factory reset some will auto-provision correctly.Many require assisted provisioning.  This requires us to log into the phone's web page and manually enter the provisioning URL, clear out the username/pass, and set DHCP to static. My goal is to avoid assisted provisioning.  Is there a way to take the config of a phone and quickly flash it to another phone?  Can we do that in bulk?

I have US/CA Unlimited Calling Plan and International Calling Add-On. However, I received an email that says I had reached 95% of my phone plan prepaid commitment. I want unlimited calls during my subscription to US, Canada, UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, Austria, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Belgium, Netherlands, Switzerland, Puerto Rico & Japan as told in international calling add-on.  If it is unlimited, how many minutes can I call these countries?

We have a few dozen wonderful Zoom Rooms, all of which are taking advantage of integrated Zoom Phone in lieu of dedicated Conf Phone hardware.  The rest of our main campus, however, is still on a Mitel PBX and staff is so used to dialing 9 to get out that they sometimes forget and brick a dial-out attempt from a Zoom Room.  They finally reached out for support so it's obviously frustrating.  The concept is ringing a bell like I saw in the Portal somewhere how to compensate for this, but might be picturing something else in another phone system.  Any suggestions to remedy while we continue to plan our global Zoom Phone rollout?

All, Some of our users are having call quality issues when using the mobile app on their cell phone.  This situation is unique because if they just made the call on the cell phone itself, not through the app, they do no see the same quality/connection issue. My best guess, but can't find anyway to prove my theory, is that the mobile app uses a local 3g/4g/5g data network to connect, whereas a regular call just uses the wireless call network, which likely has a more expansive reach than the data network. Has anyone come across this issue?  If so, any ideas how to fix it?  Is it possible to have calls use the cellular wireless network rather than the 4g network etc?

Hi All,In a phone call queue, there is an option for the operator press "skip call" that comes up.  Does anyone know how to disable this on a specific user in said call queue? Cheers

Hello ! I want to attend a zoom meeting in my navigator, even if my computer has no microphone. That's not a problem because I only want to listen.But zoom continues on telling me, every 30 seconds, "your navigator doesn't allow you using your microphone" and interrupts the audio sound ! Then I can only "join the audio by computer" and wait for the next interrruption.I have no other choice in the settings than one microphone, and it doesn't exist.I'm unable to follow the meeting with so many interruptions. Does someone have a solution please ?(I hope my English is understandable because I'm French)

When I dial out from Zoom Phone, the caller ID of the recipient shows a town that is an hour away from me. Is there a way to change the location to my town?

We switched to Zoom phone a few months ago, a few hundred users. Our onboarding/offboarding team is looking for a way to find out what auto receptionists/ivr's a user is connected to.We can see membership for Call Queues in the admin console, but we don't see a way to find out what auto receptionists they are listed in.This is a problem as when they are deleting an outgoing staff person, if that person is part of a AR/IVR, it just breaks the IVR (there is no warning to our admin, any IVR they are listed in will just now be like "Press 1 for BLANK")We know we can go through all AR/IVR's one by one looking for someone, but thats not feasible with dozens of ARs.Our old phone system had a button to show all references to the user, but we can't find an equivalent in Zoom.Are we missing something or does this just not exist? Thanks in advance. 

We have an executive that when he tries to call his assistant, it goes straight to voicemail and then she receives a notification that she has a voicemail.  If he calls her cell from his Zoom phone, he gets a message that his call cannot be completed as dialed.  I would appreciate any help as I have scoured the settings.

I want to block outgoing calls from certain extensions/common area phones? but i want them to be able to call internal extensions only?  also can i block international calls on certain extensions? 

I recently changed a user over to Zoom phone. Now, when he tries to dial another extension he receives a message that says "Share line unavailable!" and hangs up. Any idea what to do to get past that? All settings look fine. We're using a Yealink t27g phone.

Our organization uses Auto Receptionist to field calls to our staff lines and I recently set up the spam filter last week because we have been receiving an excessive amount (10-20 per day) of calls to our Auto Receptionist main line, which leave voicemails that have a beep at the beginning and then no sound. I've researched some of the phone numbers and it appears that businesses, individuals, and mobile phone numbers are being spoofed. Only a few legitimate calls and voicemails are actually coming through (which is normal) but I have to sort through them to find out which ones are real.

We've merged with another company, but are keeping the one phone number intact. I've recently ported the number to zoom and I want to create the ability to have our main number and the merged companies number with it's own extensions. I enabled multiple site and created a new site. When I try to assign the ported number the the new site, it doesn't allow me to accept the change (although it the new site shows it in the list). What am I missing or doing incorrectly here? Thanks,
