User gets this notification every single day, despite clicking 'confirm' every day.  Running Windows with enhanced location setting on in Zoom, version 5.9.6, issue follows him on different machines. He tried clicking 'wrong' and amending it to a different address, before reverting to auto-detect, still gets asked to confirm daily. Any ideas? 

I’m working on our calling tree and having an issue getting one element to work as needed. When a call is placed to the main call queue, that is after business hours, the call is routed to an after-hours auto-receptionist. The AR plays a recording which gives the caller options for leaving voicemails to various departments. The last option, however, is for the caller to be able to reach an on-call (external) phone number. The On-Call AR is setup for two employees that have mobile phones that work after business hours. I’ve set up the AR for business hours to be the working hours of the first employee (supervisor 1 - Sun 7am-3pm, Mon-Wed 2pm-10pm, Sat 8am-3pm). The expectation now is that if someone selects the on-call supervisor, it will be routed to supervisor 1 during his business hours and if it’s not his hours it will be routed to supervisor 2.   The call is handed off to the on-call AR but it the call dies there with a generic message

I have an old extension, no longer active in our system, from an old employee that left the company.  Turns out people are still reaching out to this employee by selecting this extension, based on some old emails (Signature on old emails has this extension listed).  In my testing, when I call the extension, I get a message "The person you're trying to reach us unavailable.  goodbye." and then it hangs up.  I could never find any reference to the 103 extensions  in the Zoom system since we removed the old employees account.   This has become an issue because the extension is basically a hole people can end up in when they call that extension.So, as a workaround, I created a new basic user account and assigned this 103 extension to this new account.  My thinking is I could use this basic account as basically a ghost account to forward this extension to an active extension.

I need help adding an Admin to a Call Queue. 

Hello, I had set up a Zoom phone with salesforce but I am facing some issue while I am trying to connect with zoom in the salesforce it is saying users is not zoom phone users or have no calling plan. please contact your account admin but as per my knowledge, I have a zoom phone plan. any suggestion is highly appreciated.

Hi experts our office hrs are usually 8am to 5pm but is 8.30am to 3.30pm on 2 variable days per week. Our out of hrs voicemail would then ideally acknowledge the shorter day. solutions might be: AR has ‘holidays’ pre-set with the reduced office hrs …. But with two ARs this would involve 4 x fiddly data entry per day we have the reduced hrs (date and time from 8am to 8.30am, and 3.30pm to 5pm … for each AR).(entering date and time just to cover half hr in morning and 1.5 hrs in afternoon is fiddly). OR we simply come up with a voicemail greeting that is a bit vague …. Eg someone rings at 3.40pm expecting the office to be open. Any suggestions appreciated. Is it practical for a user to set voicemail greeting for overflow the day before?? 

I have had several requests for a silent ringtone option. Users want to see the call coming in, just not hear it. The other thing is that when they pick up the physical phone, the app will continue to ring which is bothering them. I went into Notifications and turned off sounds, but that didn't work. 

Can anyone provide insight to help be view ZOOM stats on all inbound calls by Call Count, # Answered, # Misssed, # that went to Voicemail, # that hung up? Where can I find these data?

We are getting the message "Exceeded the maximum allowed number of concurrent calls" when calling one of our extensions  that's being 'Hot Desked'  She logged into a phone upstairs and now no one can call her extension without getting the, 'Exceeded the maximum allowed number of concurrent calls' message.  

If I get a call from an unknown number, is there a way to save the name of that person that called??

Hi All, I am in the process of moving from Ring Central to Zoom Phone. I want to know: 1) If I set up my current desk phones to be compatible with Zoom Phone will it no longer work with Ring Central because my numbers are not ported yet?2) To confirm, once my numbers have ported, they will be inactive with Ring Central? What would you recommend I do to best coordinate this so we don't have any downtime?

When I find an ATA that allegedly works with Zoom Phone, I look to purchase and cannot find them anywhere, even on ebay. Anyone have some that are still available to purchase somewhere for Zoom Phone? Thanks!

Hi everyone! Does anyone know anything about being able to pick up phone calls from multiple desk phones in the office? I am not referring to group calls or conference calls, however we are having a  hard time picking up phone calls from different phones in our office. Please let me know if you can help! Thank you!

i have downloaded zoom phone report. But the calls count in report looks not correct. By Call queues report and By Users report (both reports counts are not matching) user report i am seeing more call count compare to call queue report. i have downloaded log report from phone system and it is also completely different compare to call queue and user reports. is there any proper document on how call queues and user reports are getting generated? 

On the Zoom help page for Managing Call Queues (https://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/articles/360021524831-Managing-call-queues) it states the following:Rotating: Rings available members in a regularly changing order so that calls are distributed evenly.Does anyone know what 'regularly changing order' means?  I assumed it would choose a different user to ring first each time a call came in, but my users are telling me that it look like Zoom is choosing the same user, so I'm not sure what logic is being used to 'regularly change' which user gets picked first for the incoming call.  Any insight would be apprecated, thanks.

I'm having a problem in an organization I volunteer with. I am working on a helpline, so I'm taking a call on Zoom and then, if I need to speak to a supervisor, I have to put the call on hold and go into a Zoom meeting through a separate link. I appear to be unable to do that. However, next time I try to go on Zoom (once I'm off the phone) I'm told I'm already in another meeting, but I can't see this other meeting and (apparently) they can't see me. Nobody else at the organization has this problem. I seem to be the only AppleMac user (specifically MacBook Air with Chrome) but I don't think the problem is intrinsic to the equipment as I have been able to do this when listening in on a call with someone else which they have put on hold.

I set speed dial settings directly on my phone before we had zoom software to use.  I have deleted the direct settings, but zoom will not update the locations on the phone that were directly set up.  What is a solution for this problem. 

Hello, I am curious to hear if there are any solutions for automatically assigning a direct number (via SAML/Okta or API). I understand that we can automatically assign extensions by passing 0 in the SAML attribute, but it does not work for direct numbers. Thanks in advance!

I am considering moving our bookstore from comcast to Zoom phone but have several concerns.1. All workstations will need a deskset so I'd be acquiring Poly VVX D230 phones. Most of our staff have never used Zoom and are computer illiterate. Can I just place a deskset at their station and have it treated like a regular phone? Is there some sort of login that would have to be done at that station?2. I don't so much have users as I have workstations. During the day different people will occupy any given workstation. Would I just add the workstation  as the user or do I need to enter the individual names of the people who will be working there?3. We currently have 6 incoming lines that roll over in the event that the main number is busy. Would I just add additional phone numbers to my plan and then have the ability as the admin to effectively create the same situation?

I'd like to make a call from the Zoom app by adding the Zoom app from Teams.However, if you call from Zoom, you will find the Zoom web portal.Is there anything I need to set up in Zoom?The mail logged in to Teams and Zoom mail are different. I solved it.

Hi we are new to zoom phone. Testing our setup, calling into our zoom phone number, there was a dialtone.  But no user was logged in. Should the zoom phone not ring if we are not signed in? our set up is shared line. We tested during normal business hrs. Our overflow is voicemail. We logged out to see if the inbound call would go straight to voice mail which is what we would like. Thanks Richard      

We use Google Calendar Working Hours and Locations so we know when and where everyone is working.  Is there a way to integrate this information to Zoom Phone System > Users & Rooms > User > User Settings > Business Hours? Or do I have to get everyone to manually update their business hours manually?
