I have just recently upgraded to Fedora 42 XFCE and today installed the Linux Zoom client.  Version 6.4.13 (2309) is what I received.  In the past on launching the Zoom client the system audio was nowhere near high enough and I had to go to my audio profile to turn Zoom very loud so I could hear the meetings.  In the past, muting and unmuting caused the system sound to return to the default setting and I had to run it up again.  Today, that was not happening.However, during the meeting today that I hosted, every time someone entered the waiting room my audio returned to default.  Additionally, every time I admitted someone into the meeting the audio returned to default.  It did so a few other times, too, for instance when one meeting participant (who had joined the meeting by phone) dropped out, likely due to connectivity issues.Each time the system audio returned to Zoom's default setting I could not hear anything at all and had to rush o

Folks, there seems to be a mistake in the page discussing how we should make a feature request. Let me elaborate. In any discussion here in the forum making a feature request (or if you click the little blue "give feedback" sidebar while on the zoom site), we will be directed to this support page.  It's certainly understandable to have a single point of reference where you can direct all such requests....only, the instructions on that page are incorrect. Hi. I recently realized that when Zoom sends an invitation it has my old work company information in the signature block. It happens on my iPhone. I have my current email associated with Zoom mail, and that email account only has my personal signature block. Here's the sequence of events:I create a schedule meeting and save it.I then go to that meeting and add an attendee.I select the email option.The email is created, but the signature block contains my old information.I've looked all over but can't find a place to change that setting. I've tried a dozen or so "solutions" that come up from a Google search, but many of them reference screens or tabs that I don't even have on my browser. (

Is it possible to schedule a meeting a month in advance if you have a pay monthly subscription. So, for example, I start a monthly subscription in July but want to book a meeting in for August. Is this possible or can I only book meetings in for the month I've paid the subscription for? 

I'm not sure this is the right place for this question. Please direct me if there is a better place.I have Workplace Pro and it seems that the video filters are supposed to be available, but they are not. Please advise.

I've changed my settings a bunch of times and I can't seem to get Zoom to record gallery view. I thought there was a way to get it to record both active speaker and gallery, but no matter what I try I can't get that to happen. Here's a screenshot of my settings. Sincerely hoping someone can help out with this!

Just reporting a bug as best I can.   The hover text that appears when your mouse is hovered over any of the buttons during a call has the chance of blocking any mouse clicks to said buttons. I've only really experienced it with the mute/unmute button but I'm sure it happens with the other ones too. It's really annoying! It's definitely gotta be a bug and I couldn't find anything for specifically reporting bugs so here I am.

I set up a meeting without a specific date or time so that several friends and I can Zoom with each other whenever we want to. I would like to copy the invite so new people can use the automatic login. I can't find this meeting anywhere in my list of meetings. The meeting ID is still good (I just finished a meeting with my friends). How do I get to the basic information about a meeting that doesn't show up?

I have been using Zoom on my MacBook Pro for almost two years with no problems.Recently, my built-in facetime camera shuts off during meetings randomly from 1 second to 10 minutes into the session. It is turned back on if I stop and restart my video but it shuts off again at random.I have tried to update to the latest version.I have uninstalled and reinstalled Zoom on the desktopI have shut down every other app running in parallel.I have opted out of hardware acceleration, both incoming and outgoing.Nothing seems to work.Please help.Thanks

I'm using the free version of Zoom, and sometimes I record during meetings. After the 40-minute first meeting, the recording takes some time to convert, and if the second meeting ends during the conversion, the second meeting recording says that conversion failed and says, "Please convert this recording later in Meeting->Recorded." I can't find that part. No matter how much I search and try, I can't figure it out, so I'm asking. Zoom was told that there is a recording tab in the meeting tab, and that there is a recording that was recorded but not converted, but I can't find the recording tab in the meeting tab. I also received another answer saying, "if the file failed to convert then the files are in the same place as recordings. Folders docs->zoom and then name and date of meeting.", but I can't find that on my PC either.

I am trying to edit the "countries approved" setting in my personal meeting ID settings and the "edit" tab is grayed out. I get a message stating that my account is blocked and I must contact the admin.  I am the only one using this account.  I am the admin?   Please help.  Under Schedule Meeting, click the Enable Personal Meeting ID toggle to enable or disable it.Note: If the option is grayed out, it has been locked at either the group or account level. You need to contact your Zoom admin.

Hi - I use recurring meetings/ Meet Any Time all the time in my practice, and they are suddenly gone from Zoom Workplace. They disappeared for a while last summer when Zoom updated, but they were restored shortly thereafter and I haven't had a problem since - until now. What happened, and will they be back? It's very inconvenient to have to go to the web version to find those links multiple times a day. Thanks for any help you can give.

Hi there, I have zoom meeting links on my website linked to text. for example REGISTER HERE when clicked on will take you to the zoom meeting registration. All work fine. When I copy and paste them from the website and send them in an email (MacMail), they paste in the same format, get sent and arrive in the recipient's inbox in the same format and again all work fine. BUT!!! When my boss does the same, from Outlook, although it pastes in the the same format , the recipient receives the entire long link except that the last two characters from the link are on a different line and are not in blue or underlined. Once you click on the link, it of course takes you to a 404. I've included a screenshot of what we see. Has anyone else experienced this problem? I would really appreciate some help with this. It's driving us mad. Thank you!

We use alternative hosts to help with meeting/webinar management. However, the alternative hosts are unable to see the meetings/webinars in their dashboard. So if the creator host needs a change made quickly but does not have access to their computer, the alternative host is unable to make the change. This is extremely frustrating.  Also, if the host is unable to make a meeting, the alternative host can’t make changes or cancel the meeting. 

Since the last few updates of the Mac app I've not been able to schedule a meeting from the app. I have to use the website to schedule. Everything else seems fine though. When I click the schedule button it just shows me a blank page, no error messages or anything. I can create a new meeting and start one already scheduled (from the website) but nothing else.I'm on Mac OS and zoom version: 5.12.2 (11434)

My strange problem is that when a Linux user tries to right-click on the host/co-host video/tile, they do not have an option for "chat" like the users of Windows or macOS.  It seems to be specific to the Zoom Pro account that I have, but when checking this out on another Zoom Pro account, the Linux user does have the option to chat when right-clicking.  So it must be in one of the settings on my Pro account.  But how could a setting permit this feature (right-click has "chat") for two operating systems (Windows and macOS) and not the third (Linux)?  I've gone through all the settings and can't see any that directly effect chat not being available in a right-click operation.  Anyone have a suggestion?   Thanks, John

Is anyone having a hard time with ManyCam as a virtual camera?Zoom is not recognizing ManyCam at all.  Does anyone know how to fix it?

Hello! I just bought a new M2 Mac mini base model and one of its primary uses is as a videoconferencing machine to be used 3-5 hours a day. I have been having a ridiculous amount of issues and I am looking for ideas. I am using it with a Logitech Brio webcam on a tripod with no usb extension cable and the mini is hooked up to a 65" 4k tv over HDMI 2.0. This is what I am experiencing: 1. Audio will work for a while but eventually when I am unmuted all everyone else hears is a loop of echo noises. When I am muted and I open up audio preferences I can see the mic levels jumping wildly. I can use the iPhone a a mic and that seems more stable although sometimes it loses the connection. I tried using AirPod Pros as the mic and zoom immediately crashed. 2. Video is usually ok but will my video will freeze at some point in the conference. Audio still works and I can see video / screen sharing of the other participants. 

Hi,When I try to livestream from Zoom to Youtube it verifies the error "The user is not enabled for live streaming. Extend Help: https://www.youtube.com/features".But I can streaming direct from Youtube, so, the problem is not the Youtube. I´d like to know how can I fix this.The problem is not the cookies or browser versions.thanks

Hello All: I'm having problems with my Zoom Q2n-4K not recognizing my piano when doing a test playback in settings. No audio levels are present, as well. My voice is clear, but no piano regardless of what settings in audio I adjust. Selecting 'original sound' does nothing. The Q2n-4K video recorder was not cheap and apparently can be used as a webcam. However, for my online music lessons use, I need for instruments to be recognized and heard. Does anyone have any suggestions? Any feedback is greatly appreciated. Thanks Zoom version: 6.5.1

Hi. I want to turn off automatic Zoom updates as it is causing me problems updating just before meetings. The latest one changed my audio settings so I couldn't hear anyone. I've subsequently researched it and followed the instructions previously given to change it but the instructions I read said to find it in Settings-General. When I go into this section automatic updates are not mentioned. Today I was updated to ZoomWorkplace so has it changed? Should I be looking in another tab?Many thanks.

A potential client was scheduled for a meeting and sent me her link.I 'm on Mac and she is on a pc and it said we could not connect unless I was also on a pc.
