I was invited by people from Shincheonji who claimed to be christians (later found that it was a cult) via zoom - to be parto fo zoom meetings, that in the zoom meetings we weren't allowed to chat with others via zoom, because the option to chat between each other was completely gone - all done by hacking the zoom app by their IT team. To chat between each other was disabled by them, intentionally so that no one might speak to each other and reveal who they are - A CULT. How come ZOOM team is not helping in this process in putting strong tools that no IT team might crack it. Those chats are important on each meeting, just because if someone will research that the so called "church" is actually a cult, might actually worn others to get out of there on time. People who have been deceived in such way gave their entire lives to the cult, some even being suicidal at the end.  So why is it that ZOOM allowed it? What happened is that the option from

I had a problem yesterday at a Zoom meeting.  I was using a laptop in the same room as the presenter.  I have done this many times without any problems.  I have a headset with a microphone connected to the laptop.    When I was let in to the meeting, for some unknown reason Zoom did not detect my speaker nor microphone.  (And i did not know that until I was let in to the meeting.)   But the laptop was causing echo in the Zoom meeting.  There was no way that I could mute my session because, as Zoom did not recognize my microphone and speaker/headphones, it did not provide me with a mute icon.  This has never happened before, and it did not happen when I just tested the laptop and headset with another Zoom session.  I have no idea why Zoom did not sense my microphone and headset.  But I consider it a bug that Zoom did not present me with any way to mute.  I had to disconnect from the Zoom session.

Hello, I'm here to ask if anyone has the issue where, when you join the meeting, and you have set Zoom on dark mode, apparently the color surrounding my webcam is gray, when I want it all black.Is there a way to get rid of the gray box around my camera? I can link/show a screenshot of it so you can see what I mean by it.Example of the issue I'm talking about. 

Hi team   Is it any difference for recording locally on a chromebook? I've tried all the setting options that came to my mind but the option to record when i'm a host is not  on my side.

Simple if in a zoom meeting and recording the recording is fine. But if you share a screen it changes to a portrait frame and a horizontal picture/video, regardless if the share is either way. Changed ratio aspect to original aspect, and not scale to fit. Is there more ratio aspect settings in the shared section ? It also happens when co-host share, on there phones probably because they are portrait. Or when we share music so partisans can hear it better. How can we share and ensure the recording ratio aspect doesn’t change?   Note the actual livestream aspect ratio does not change, all looks good from the live screen. Hence why it is confusing when it changes in the recording.  Please fix this if you can Zoom, looks like a few people have this issue and have to use work around sir not use the option. Sad if your options are not useable. 

I would like to state that I am not a fan of not being able to get answers from Zoom and being directed to "Zoom Community". I feel Zoom should provide answers, not the people who use Zoom. With that being said, I would appreciate your help.I recently scheduled multiple meetings for my board, but only ONE meeting is showing under my scheduled meetings. I do not consider these meetings "reoccurring meetings" because they are not on the reoccurring dates AND the information that I copied and put in the calendar invites do NOT match.How can I see ALL the meetings I scheduled?Thank you,April

I am having serious problem with the resolutions of my recordings. I am recording to my computer using a Brio 4K webcam, setting is to HD, but despite my 4K cam the result is less than 720p. This started 3 weeks ago and I am not able to mitigate the issue despite spending hours on the app as well as searching everywhere including this community platform. Unfortunately I am considering walking from Workspace Pro and use a cheaper option and invest in other programs.

Dear People,After Skype has turned on noise cancellation i am up to try the latest version of Zoom for online guitar lessons.See that the option is implemented now and happy for that, BUT if i go to the settings tab and turn it on the input level does not register my guitar or a hand clap, while it does my voice.Anyone has this new function working in Linux?What am i missing?Thank you so much in advance!Using OpenSuse Tumbleweed.

Hi Everyone! I work for a MSP that has a client that has had nonstop zoom issues...Just looking for some help, any help really....I am a senior engineer so I have done most of the basic troubleshooting steps....It happens on surfaces....I am not sure why, but surfaces have so many issues with zoom. They are running Intel processors. Is there any advice you can give me to help my client? They are incredibly frustrated. thank you so much

We have some users that are using Teams Meetings in our Zoom Room that experiences Video issues intermittently. It seems like throughout the hour long meeting, the screen will freeze 3-4 times. I seems like we continue to have these connection/bandwidth issues with teams through zoom rooms constantly and not sure how we can fix this. We never have issues with zoom meetings, solely just teams. Also it is just down to one room of ours that usually has this issue, but we have ruled updates for for the app since it's happened across a series of different updatesZoom controller version is 6.4.6 (3654)Zoom Room App Version is 6.4.5 (5758), 64 bitAny troubleshooting tips would help in this case.

Hello Epic Zoomans, HELP needed asap… So I promised my community I would do them a how-to on connecting the LIVE STREAMING app in Zoom to their FB groups so they can still stream and stop the panic. This is where I have a problem; I can’t fricken connect myself to add channels, then add the details etc, I've added the app, but when I go to open it, the wheel of doom goes around. I have deleted, re-installed, and even opened a new Zoom to check. Basically, I tried everything… People are waiting on me arrrhhhh, anyone please HEEEELLLPPP!!!X 

Hello,  I just had a meeting with another person and "3rd person" was fathom note taker.  The video was recorded with very low resolution.  I don't see where to turn on HD recording in my settings.  I have the business plan.  Can you someone point me in the right direction?  Thanks

Hello,Does somebody know which would be the best set of specifications to consider for a 12th or 13th gen Intel processor for a laptop that must be able to host and stream Zoom meeting for 10-30 people without lag and with high framerate (given reliable and low latency consistent internet connection) For example, would more performance cores be better or efficiency ones ?Would you say that the internal GPU plays a significant role? Does somebody know deeply the requirements for audio-video streaming in such a way that i can choose the better CPU for my necessity?The idea is that i want to save money as much as i can, i know that i could just throw 1500 bucks or more at a laptop and be safe, but I'd like to spend less, as higher end laptop also have

My camera is on top of my screen.My video is just below that on the screen.My guest's video is below mine.Both videos are wide screen due to webcam doing HD, so can't put them side by side....Problem is, I look at my guest video when I talk which makes me look like I'm looking down at the ground to my guest and not 'at them'.If the guest video was above mine and thus nearer the camera, then it would look like I'm looking at them.How do I get their video above mine (or mine below theirs)?

Hi,How do I disable this pop up when someone raises their hand? The participants who've raised their hands get moved to the top of the gallery as it is. This pop up seems unhelpful and besides that the host has to keep closing the pop up each time someone raises their hand.  In the participants panel we get two more notifications for a raised hand:  Please disable the pop up message. Hello everyone. I use Zoom on a new pc with USB camera with manual zoom purchased on Amazon. Until recently the camera could be seen fine. I can't tell if since I upgraded to the PRO version or as a result of program updates, the view is cut off at the sides and it looks dark. The same webcam used on apps like Windows 11 Camera or OBS captures the video perfectly. It seems that zoom does not fully support said camera. There are no dedicated drivers because it is PLUG & PLAY. What can I do about it?

Every once in awhile when we have an issue where if you touch the zoom app JW library will get removed from second screen and replaced with Zoom.  Of course you see all of the friends on Zoom on the monitors in the hall.   You have to go back and click on the task bar second screen for JW library to show the daily text again on the monitors.  If you close zoom and JW library and reopen it will resolve itself.  Does anyone have a fix? Thanks.  

Hello everyone!After the latest update my camera is not working on Zoom. When I open my camera appears an image of a deadlock. Does anyone know how can I solve this? My camera is working in other apps.  

Using Desktop app to create a meeting which then it pops into Outlook. Outlook the email that I have Zoom registered with and is also the default one in Outlook is greyed out and wants to use secondary email. My default email that Zoom is registered with is also the default email that is the default on inside Outlook. I had a 3rd email acct in Outlook and before deleting that it was also an option, so both of the accts that were not primary in Outlook were fine to send meeting invitations but not the one that is the primary for Zoom and Outlook. If I generate a Meeting from within Outlook via the add-in - it picks the correct email. Generating meeting from the online site also picks the correct email for invitations.I tried reinstalling Zoom. No dice.

Hi there, I often have private meetings with clients back-to-back, but I use my personal meeting room for all of them so that my clients only have to keep track of one meeting link. I have been starting to enjoy zoom meeting summaries but I would like to be able to generate separate meeting summaries for the separate conversations I have with each person (even though this occurs within a single zoom "meeting"). Does anyone know how to do this? Here is the scenario:I meet with Client-A from 9-10am.Client-B is scheduled to meet with me at 10am, but joins the waiting room at 9:55am just before I wrap up with Client-A.I do finish up with Client-A at 9:59am and they leave the meeting.I admit Client-B into the meeting and we meet from 10-11am.At 11am I formally "End" the meeting. Here is the issue and some relevant facts:I only get 1 meeting summaryIt

I am in the waiting room for a meeting. It says "Please wait. The webinar will begin soon." I have hit the minimize button that is next to the x that closes it. It minimizes but then pops up again within a minute or two every time I minimize it. It is really bothering me. How do I fix this? It was hard to type this because that window keeps popping back up and covering this text box...

I have tried downloading Zoom but cannot open it. I get the error message "You can’t open the application “zoom.us” because this application is not supported on this Mac."I have tried reinstalling and have changed my security settings to allow applications downloaded from App store and identified developers. I have a macbook air Ventura 13.1.
