My name appears correctly under my video in Zoom, but it doesn't show up in chat. The chat tag is Me. Can I change it? 

Hello, Our arts organization recently hosted a public program via zoom and used live transcription and closed captioning. We noticed that many Native American and Indigenous words were completely, wrongly transcribed (I mean off the charts, BAD). How can we prevent this from happening? Thanks!

I conduct one-to-one meetings on Zoom with various clients. On occasions (not all the time), I cannot see the picture of one client when he joins my meeting. He says he can see the message 'host disabled video sharing'. On the occasions this happens, I send him a new meeting request and link and there is no problem. Sometimes we have to do this, and sometimes the issue doesn't arise and I can see his picture from the start. But I'd like to find out what the issue is as it wastes time at the start of the meeting if I have to email him another Zoom meeting request. I don't know what device he uses. Can anyone help me figure out what the problem is? I conduct 6-8 meetings per week on Zoom and only have the problem with one client, and not all the time. Thanks in advance.

I have a Zoom Workplace Pro subscription. Even after having HD video settings enabled, Video sent is stuck at 640x 360. I am not sure whats wrong. I want to send the video in HD quality. Need help !!

Hi everyone,I'm reaching out regarding a limitation I'm experiencing with Zoom. While I understand Zoom allows joining meetings on multiple devices, I'm unable to start separate meetings simultaneously on two different devices (e.g., desktop and phone).Scenario:I want to host a meeting on my desktop while also joining another meeting as a participant on my phone.Currently, when I attempt to start a meeting on one device while signed in on another, I get logged out of the existing session.Impact:This limitation restricts my ability to manage situations where I need to host a meeting while also attending another one as a participant.My current plan :  

I changed my Name and Display Name weeks ago on Zoom Portal, but in every call the old name pops up. Why and how do I change this? It's annoying

I just tried to screen share an open KeyNote presentation to a client and it was a disaster:   1 - Zoom couldn't see the KeyNote in the list of open apps 2 - I closed the screenshare menu, then reopened and it now could see KeyNote 3 - I selected the Keynote, but it shared it as a rhomboid shape, as the thumnail is displayed like that in the sidebar of Stage Manager. 4 - There was no way to click into the Keynote 5 - I successfully resolved this by turning off Stage Manager (in OSX System Settings, Desktop & Dock) and the share worked perfectly.   SUMMARY: The issue is solved by turning off Stage Manager, but this affects the whole computer, and I feel like I shouldn't have to do that.    

Our account has been having issues with slides advancing (on their own) and loss of mouse control during the share screen function. I was concerned it was a Zoom bomber issue, but it happened again today with a different host sharing their screen. It's never been an issue previously. We have disabled the ability to collaborate with other apps as a possible solution.  Has anyone else encountered this?

Zoom now automatically brightens (almost like shining a spotlight) the speaker when more than one person is in the field of view.  How do I turn this off.  I would like to control when my background and lighting change.

I've noticed that I'm not able to connect to Zoom via broswer in new meeting or links, I just can't see the option to join via a broswer when I click the join meeting button. Is there a new update or something like that? Is there a possibility to add that option?

I got a message to ypgrade zoom but when i log in to do the upgrade i get the message that i need to be at a higher version to log in. Please advise what to do.

My Zoom Chrome extension stopped working with the latest Zoom update. I have tried reinstalling the extension to no avail. Can someone please assist? 

I've been using ZOOM for two years, 2-5 times a week, tutoring a student.Suddenly, ZOOM fails to launch on my PC running Windows10. It's normal on my iPad. I've repeatedly uninstalled and reinstalled the program.  Still won't launch.I emptied my CHROME cache of cookies and images for all time--still won't launch.I've opened the <Preferences> file in my USER DATA--there is no <"excluded_schemes">--so I removed the only <zoommtg> entry that was referring to my zoom sign-on.--STILL NO ZOOM program launch. Now what...?

Question:  When I co-host from my iphone or ipad, there is a major limitation on my cohost controls.  I can't see what participants are in the  breakout rooms and cant move participants (either into breakout rooms, between breakout rooms or back to main session).  I can do all of those things from my desktop when I am a cohost. Is this just a limitation of the mobile app?  Can it be overcome? Any advice would be appreciated!

When I attempt to join a meeting without signing in, I'm not entered into the meeting but I always get the following message >> "Open URL:zoommtg - us02web.zoom.us wants to open this application"

I tried referencing this article - Using the Zoom Timer App But the Show timer to all toggle control does not appear on the Timer app. I'd like to show the participants the timer while they are presenting.  Are there settings I need to adjust in order for this toggle to appear? Thanks.

I would like to bulk remove many Desktop Client "user" type installs and eventually replace them with "machine" type installs. I have an old version of CleanZoom (6.5.64722.907) that when run, cleans out the user type installs correctly. I downloaded the latest version (1.0.0.143) today which says it was updated on July 25, 2023. When I run the new version on a computer with a user install, the tool exits and fails to remove the software. Has this ability been removed from CleanZoom and only removes machine type installs? It appears that when I force a machine type install to a computer with a user type install, the user type install is removed anyway, so this will be a quick way to flip them all to machine type installs. However, it would be good to have an up to date tool that will clean out any type of install.
