When schedulling a meeting directly through Google Calendar using the Zoom for Google Workplace Add-on, and when adding video conferencing to the meeting, there is not an option to add an already existent link - is this possible to change through settings or it's not technically possible?   Eg. someone creates a zoom link directly through the app, that I then want to add to a calendar event but the add-on doesn't allow me to - it just creates a new zoom link without allowing edition.

When I schedule a new meeting and provide email addresses for my attendees, I expect them to get a robot-generated email invitation. They do not. And when I select "iCal" under "Calendar", I expect them to get a calendar invitation. They do not. Why? Might I have missed a critical preference setting or option?   How can I troubleshoot this?   I’m using the current latest Zoom version on MacOS Sonoma 14.1.1.

The blue start and stop is not working on trimming a recording. It is trimming the wrong portion or not doing it all. I do not see any videos on how to properly trim a recording. I just need to trim off the end of the recording and if I use the blue sliders it is only keeping that portion that I wanted to remove. Also AI support does not how to answer that question. 

Hi, I have scheduled a meeting VIA Microsoft Bookings with someone, but was never sent a link. I had a previous meeting through the same site this morning and when the time came, a link was never given and I ended up missing the meeting so I know that the link will not be provided upon meeting time. I have tried talking to your AI robot thing to help me with this problem but that just made everything worse and now I think I might be crazy. I did get a confirmation email about booking, but there is no link or directions. Please help me before I lose my ever-loving mind. How do I join my meeting tomorrow?

I'm trying to use Keynote or PowerPoint slides as a virtual background for a meeting.When I try to load the slides, I get a message reading: Unable to import <slide-deck>.How do I fix this problem?I'm running Mac OS Sonoma 14.2.1, Keynote 13.1, and Zoom 5.16.10.The troubleshooting steps are to restart Keynote and open the slide deck in Keynote, but these steps are not helping.

Hi there, We have 7 users on our work account—1 owner and 6 members, all of whom are licensed. However, when scheduling meetings from the owner's account, I'm only able to schedule for 3 of the users instead of all 7. Does anyone know how to resolve this so that I can schedule meetings for all users? Thanks in advance!

As host when I share a video the participants hear the audio just fine but the volume is extremely low on my device even with it turned all the way up. I’m using an iPad as the host device. 

I use zoom for my church service.  If I play music through the sound system, the people in the meeting cannot hear it.  If I share my screen with my IPad, whatever is being played through the IPad cannot be heard either.Is there a fix for this?

We're facing an issue with our Zoom Marketplace app related to the OAuth flow. The app is approved and we have a redirect URI configured as beta.xyz.com. Recently, we set up a microservice to handle OAuth at a central location, and the new redirect URI is api.oauth.xyz.com/auth/zoom/callback.We also manage different environments for our clients, so their respective redirect URIs would look like client.api.oauth.xyz.com/auth/zoom/callback. We added these to the allowlist in development mode, which automatically added them to the production allowlist, but the app is still not working for our customers.I've read that if we add the root domain xyz.com, all subdomains should work for the OAuth redirect, especially since we're using Passport.js, which creates the redirect URI in  request body based on client environments. Hello! Last week, I was very busy with back-to-school and Zoom gave me SO many issues that are still not resolved and I cannot get any help from Zoom Customer Support. I can't reach anyone. I am logged in but it says it cannot connect me because I'm not logged in. First issue, I needed someone to take over one of my meetings so that I could do another one, I have Zoom Workplace PRO. So I added them to my account, paid for their license, and added them as an alternative host, all on my account. That user started the meeting under their account. Then an hour later I went to start another meeting on my account but instead of starting the new scheduled meeting that I needed to start, Zoom kept launching the meeting my partner was currently hosting using his license. Desperate for a solution, I had someone else sign up for Zoom using their email and my business debit card so I could quickly send out a link on that account to start the new meeting - s

Hi everybody I am using the updated Zoom app with its new look in the interface, very nice, but...Before the update, when I was hosting a meeting, there was always an icon in the top left hand corner of my video screen, which said "meeting info" or "meeting details" or something like that. Clicking on it would show the name of the meeting and also allow me to invite people to join. But after the latest update of the app (I am using Windows 11) this icon seems to have disappeared, and I simply have the words "Zoom workplace" instead. Does anyone know how to get this top left hand corner info icon back? How do I add/secure a person as an alternate host in Pro Plan - - if it can be done?What are the specific steps to do so.Do I have to redo this for every Zoom meeting I run, even if the same person is tha laternate host?Is there a fee for such [and is it a one-time fee or must it be paid every time I run a Zoom meeting]?

I'm attempting to retrieve several old recordings that one of my students forgot to download. The recordings were done in late May and June. Of course they aren't in my account any longer, but are they still archived by Zoom somewhere? If so, how do I make contact to get them? Thanks.

Hey, does anybody know how to customize/remove the icons for the controls at the bottom of the screen? Not all of them. I'd just like to remove the ones I don't use, so that I can make my screen smaller & still see the controls that I actually use.

Hi, i joined a meeting via a link that was sent to me by the host. When the meeting started i pressed the "record" button and the program asked the host to give his permission. The host gave it but when the meeting endedand the program closed, i didn't find the video in the selected folder. I didn't press the "Stop recording" button when the meeting ended. Is there a way to find the video or it was never recorded?

Recently (since 2023ish) I noticed I had not had the ability to copy and paste chat text from a webinar. As a Host or Co-Host, I could do this previously, but now it no longer allows me to copy from a webinar chat- even as a Host or Co-Host. I have checked my setting based on recommendations in prior posts with this issue and all my settings should allow me to copy from webinar chats. I was never nor currently the webinar creator, just a host. Is this a glitch or has Zoom changed something?

When I'm trying to use the Google Workspace Add-on "Zoom for Google Workspace™" I have some issues.  When I use the add-on to add a zoom meeting to a calendar invitation, it appears to create as usual and I am able to save it. However, when I attempt to start that meeting, it first loads the webpage (https://us06web.zoom.us/s/meetingID#success) but then I get a pop-up box telling me the meeting ID is invalid. This doesn't happen every time, and it seems to be more likely when meetings were created far in advance and when multiple people are invited to the calendar hold.  I don't have this issue when I create the meeting directly on the website. Additional Info: I'm not sure if this is part of the solution, as this has happened since I installed the add-on. The 'blur my background' option' seems to have totally disappeared with the latest software update. Where is it, or has it been discontinued?

Hi! I have Zoom integrated with Eventbrite. When I edit a Zoom meeting (deleting password requirement, etc), notifications are sent to all registrants that something has been changed. Most frustrating is that Zoom also sends the notification to folks who had since cancelled their Eventbrite event, and provides them with the Zoom link again. Is there a way for me to update a meeting setting without everyone receiving the notification?  

how do I do livestream in my fb group instead of personal page - in live app I can't configure set up at all - no option. help please 

I use Zoom to teach online music lessons using an RME UFX+. It's a USB 3.0 audio interface with a LoopBack feature. Zoom needs an update to allow a higher audio channel count. In order to get Zoom to work right now (with the UFX+) I have to restart my M2 Max MacBook with the UFX+ still running so that the UFX+ accidentally goes into USB 2.0 mode which only allows for 30 in/30 out. In USB 3.0 mode, the UFX+ has 96 in/96 out. This higher audio channel count in USB 3.0 mode crashes the current iteration of Zoom. Zoom didn't used to crash for this reason, but it does now. It has me looking into other video conferencing apps until Zoom fixes it. I have to imagine there are many of us out there experiencing this difficulty with the current iteration of Zoom.
