All of my settings are correct and the waiting room is enabled. People were always sent into the waiting room until today. I did some troubleshooting & found google workspace meetings are defaulted to not enabled. This must have been updated since yesterday. When setting up meetings in google workspace using the zoom extension for workspace, you have to manually toggle the waiting room option on the right side bar in gmail calendar (clicking the zoom logo, don't use the drop down) when using both PMI & Generate automatically. Wanted to share this in case anyone has new issues with this.

I am looking for an answer as to how to address a very bad problem with sync of video and audio in real time on Zoom meetings. I am repeatedly having the video suddenly stop staying in sync with the audio, and it lags 5 seconds or more behind, which makes a Zoom meeting impossible. It doesn't necessarily resolve even if I log and back in. It is starting to happen most of the time. I had this come up a couple years ago as a recurring problem, investigated with my internet provider and Apple, and then with Zoom, and there was never an answer or useful advice. It seemed to mostly go away on its own, but here it is recurring and making Zoom almost useless unless solved. I have not had it come up with non-Zoom apps.This is in live meetings, not recordings. I have a Mac Powerbook. I have fast wi-fi speed. It wasn't happening at all for some time, so I don't know why this is now happening. No one I know has experienced this, so no one has any advice.Does anyone out there have a

Hi there, I have Zoom on my work computer as well as on my work laptop. Whenever I log into Zoom on one machine, it automatically logs me out on the other machine. Is there any way to avoid this? Thanks!

This is crazy and very frustrating and much more difficult since the zoom dashboard update...Today I teach a live class. It is password protected. I decided I want to take the auto-recording off for this and all future settings. But this meeting ID and info appears NOWHERE in my meetings profile.not in recurring, not in the calendar... But I tested it and it works.Its a live link... where did it go!!!!!!!!!!!????help!

Hi. I run a few distance learning classrooms. We run Zoom on Microsoft Surface computers with two external monitors. So, three total monitors. Instructors share Powerpoints via with Zoom in dual monitor mode on the external monitors. This has worked fine for years. Now, when the Powerpoint is shared, it minimizes the main Zoom box, taking the audience out of view and it moves the floating control bar over the Powerpoint. This makes dual monitor mode unusable. So, my workaround has been to disable dual monitor mode for now. I have checked every setting and made sure the display settings on the computer have not changed. Has anyone experienced something like this?  Thank you.

Hey,I have a few questions about the Zoom for IT Admins:1. is it an universal binary (can it run on both apple silicon and intel-based Mac)?2. if i have Zoom Workplace installed, can i update it by installing the Zoom for IT Admins? and how about the other way around?

I am a math tutor using Zoom with my students.  Sometimes the annotation pencil appears when my student is sharing their screen, and I am able to write on their screen.  Other times the pencil does not appear, and I cannot write on their shared screen.  How do I fix this?

My completed meetings continue to show in "upcoming meetings" tab instead of being automatically moved to "previous meetings". They only get moved on the next day. This is new behavior. Until about 2-3 weeks ago, each meeting would move to the "previous meetings" tab as soon as it was completed. Has something changed? Is there any way to restore the earlier behavior?

We have multiple meeting in one day, I played a mp3 file for each meeting at specific time in morning and evening, Currently I start the zoom meeting and then click on Share screen and use advance tab and then click on Computer Audio and press share, it play the computer audio to the meeting and after specific time (when Audio is completed) then I end the meeting, Is there any way to automate this process, where it can start the meeting at given time  and automatically select the option Computer audio and end the meeting at specific time. I can start the mp3 from Computer scheduler. It will be great if zoom also provide the flexiblity to use the specific file from Cloud and play that file on Zoom meeting at specific time and when Audio is finished, automatically end the meeting.

How can I generate link for Large Meetings with 500 Participants that I have subscribed?

Hello, When connecting to a meeting, a recording automatically starts. I am not the one that initiates it (nor my invitees). Is there any way to stop this? I do not want to record every meeting I have on Zoom. Thanks ! Joel

I have a recorded meeting.  People want the link.  Zoom gave it a randomized passcode.  I want it to be simpler, like my name.  How do I change it for that one meeting?

Since the last update, now when I create zoom meetings and copy the invitation to the meetings it no longer provides the meeting time and date like it used to. It now omits the name of the meeting and time, and just shows zoom link and meeting ID basically. Can anyone advise?  Thanks  

Hi, I recently signed up for Zoom, thank God I didn't pay for a full year (yet). Had a first meeting on Zoom with 2 massive issues:1. I could not record the meeting2. the transcript didn't work either Despite signing in as Host, Zoom didn't recognise me as Host on screen and thus prevented me from recording and getting a transcript. VERY handy when you agreed to send the recording to your client.... Had to revert to Quicktime. Already reported the issue last week but haven't heard anything. Looking for alternatives to Zoom... How do I get Zoom to recognise me as Host on screen and allow me to record and to get a transcript? Thanks!

When I turn on zoom my image don't show. It stays black. I can see other persons in the meeting, but my image don't show. What is happening. Does someone can help me?Thanks

I have an organization with several Zoom users.  All of us are able to join video calls in the browser (using the built-in web version, not the SDK). All of us are able to use virtual backgrounds except one person.  This person keeps getting the following error: They are using the most recent version of Chrome. Why is this issue happening? 

Does anyone know how to ensure zoom makes a noise at the start of a scheduled meeting as a reminder you have a call? I used to have this feature and now it's not working and I am missing calls because of it. Thanks

I have a intel i5-46xx CPU and 16gb of ram. Before the update I had been using virtual backgrounds with no issue. Immediately after the update they were disabled. The article has not been updated with any new requirements if something's changed. 

When I call Zoom to speak with technical support, I have to give my ID meeting number and my six digit passcode. Zoom says my passcode is invalid, however, the code is in my profile information. Why do they say it is invalid? How can I actually talk with Zoom technical support?

We have an AA meeting that is listed on the international site - we get people attending from all over.  We screen people as soon as they come on - they have to show their face and tell us their name and its been pretty chill until today.  Some person managed to get on and disable all the security settings.  They typed the N word about 1,000 times in the chat, even though chat was disabled.  They posted a gross video and it jumped from one person to another, so fast we couldn't even keep up with it.  In a vain attempt to kick them off we ended up kicking off several people who were just being hijacked by the bomber.  Even though all microphones were muted with the setting that no one can unmute themselves without being asked to, this person wasn't muted.   We can't make our meeting invitation only, it's open to the public, that's the very spirit of an AA meeting. Does anyone have any suggestions?  

Thank you for your response. It would be extremely helpful if the host/co-host could screen people (at least make them turn on their camera and introduce themselves) IN THE WAITING ROOM before actually admitting them to the meeting. We have a WOMEN'S AA meeting daily. Almost every day bombers use a woman's name with camera off to get admitted into the meeting. Once they are in they turn their camera on and say & do terrible things for all to see and hear. If we could catch them in the waiting room it would be SO much better!! We do not want to make the meeting private because we want to help alcoholics who need a meeting. Screening in the waiting room would be a beneficial addition to the zoom platform. Thank you

My video/audio is freezing for 2-3 seconds at a time.  I am a court reporter and cannot miss even a millisecond of testimony.  What can I do?

We recently upgraded our Outlook plugin to ver 6.1.0 and people are reporting that email invites that are generated from Outlook no longer include the "Join by Telephone" numbers/options. I uninstalled ver 6.1.0 and reinstalled ver 6.0.0 and the invite is now showing the "Join by Telephone" numbers/options.The main reason why we had to upgrade to ver 6.1.0 was because of the Outlook crashing issues with ver 6.0.0

I have a recurring meeting from an old subscription I was a part of, but I didn’t schedule it. I am unable to delete it. Anyone know a fix? I contacted organizer and waiting for a response. Thanks!

When scheduling a recurring meeting, the meeting ID cchanged from my personal meeting ID to a different ID. Is there a way for me to use my Person Meeting ID for recurring meetings?
