Unable to assign co-host

Hi,

I was unable to assign a co-host when generating the zoom meeting.

Checking my settings, and found that Under 'In Meetings(Basic)' -- 'Co-host' is disabled. It shows 'locked by admin' (pasted below).

Meeting > In Meeting (Basic)

Co-host

Allow the host to add co-hosts. Co-hosts have the same in-meeting controls as the host.

Locked by admin

How can I unlock it and enable to function?

Thanks!

    Hi, @YUEBCM,

Are you on a Basic (free) account?  Co-Hosts can't be enabled on Basic accounts.  See this Zoom Support article "Prerequisites":

    https://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/articles/206330935-Enabling-and-Adding-a-Co-Host

Same problem with my account. I cannot assign Co-host and cannot send files in the chat box. Someone in this page can help me? Thank you

Welcome to the Zoom Community, @Sweet_Alshell.

Both of these capabilities are controlled by the settings in the owner of the Meeting or Webinar.

    Co-Hosts

See this Zoom Support article for details:

    https://support.zoom.com/hc/en/article?id=zm_kb&sysparm_article=KB0066640

If you are a Basic user, Co-Hosts are not available to you. If you are a Licensed user, see the Account and User entries in the How to enable co-host section of the above document to ensure that Co-Hosts are enabled for your account.

    Sending Files in Chat

See this Zoom Support article for details related to Meetings:

    https://support.zoom.com/hc/en/article?id=zm_kb&sysparm_article=KB0058822

This feature is open to all types of user accounts. See the Admin and User entries in the How to enable file transfer for meetings section of this article to ensure that the File Transfer option is enabled.

There is a separate setting to enable chat file transfer in Webinars, covered here:

    https://support.zoom.com/hc/en/article?id=zm_kb&sysparm_article=KB0058821
