weird thing keeps happening where all controls will freeze/become unclickable and i can't quit the app, but strangely the audio and video are fine? it's happened 3 times so far and i can't find an answer online. has anyone experienced this?  for reference:using version 6.1.11 on a macsome meetings i was the host, others just a participanti have a monitor connected to my laptop, which was open/not in clamshell mode all 3 times this happenedplugged into a power sourcerestarted my machine multiple times 

Hello experts, Does anybody has the same problem ? I have been using zoom as part of my work since several years on Linux.Since the upgrade on 6.2.0 (1855), During a meeting, depending on the other participant version I think,  It does not allow you to share a window application. The option is no more available. You can only choose to share a part of the screen. I am using X11 on mint (ubuntu like). Thanks

Hi, I've come back to work after a break to discover the new Zoom Workplace and am struggling to log into even my own meetings and now cant share screen (the presentations open on laptop are not showing as open in the share screen) I've tried to download new version of app but it keeps saying i am on 5.5.10 and need version 5.16.6 or higher and to call my IT dept, I'm self employed and don't have an IT dept! I need to get this resolved quickly but can't even access the tech support by phone as i can't type in a £ sign it requests me to at end of id code!!

We have a participant that we have asked not to join our meetings anymore.  He has broken many of our group rules and we have talked to him about it.  He now joins the meetings under different names on different devices.  He became very confrontational when we talked to him and tells many other people that he doesn't intend to stop.  How do we solve this?

Can I get the saved audio transcription file (VTT) if I record to my computer?

As the host, I am not showing as the main speaker on "speaker view." Other participants are showing up when they speak, but not me when I speak. It must be something in my settings because this happens on my backup laptop as well. 

Recently, when I am logged in in my account and when I go to the Tab "Meetings", the meetings are not displayed there. There seems to be a problem with Zoom. E.g. I have connected Calendly and when I book a call I have to copy the link from the calendly mail to get access to the meeting by myself! When I logged in, the space for the meetings is just white

I have a meeting I join every day via Zoom, and each time I enter the meeting, after a minute or two, Zoom kicks me out without any reason, and I don't see any error message. It just logs me out from meeting. When I try to rejoin, the problem repeats.My internet connection is excellent, and I have tried multiple devices (laptops, mobile phones, and tablets), but the same issue persists.I have not been banned from the meeting.The meeting settings are correct, and there are no restrictions on the number of attendees or anything else that could cause this.

Hoping someone can help. We do basic digital literacy coaching with learners remotely via Zoom. Our coaches often use the Remote Control feature in Zoom to access the learner's computer in order to put links on their desktop so they can practice digital skills, or in order to open apps for learners or do other things on their desktop while they learn digital skills. PROBLEM: One learner has a Chromebook. When the host tries to get the learner to give Remote Control to her in the Zoom meeting, this feature is not available on the Chromebook. What do we need to do so the learner's Chromebook allows this feature when using Zoom ? Is Remote Control available on a Chromebook ? Thank you for any help on this !Caroline

please help - Zoom in mobile device - Error while disconnecting the Installed 6.1.11.x and Joined a meeting. after the meeting the app is not closing the call. It is hanging even if I 'leave meeting'. The app is not closing, it restarts itself and trying to connect to meeting.. but not connecting.. just waiting.. I could not join any other meeting, background app is killing the battery. Need quick solution please.

I computer recorded my meeting today and now I can't find the file anywhere. I have checked all the ways to access it and nothing shows up. Any way to recover quickly?

Until about 2 weeks ago, I could join a meeting and then access the "Claim Host" button through the Participants button. What am I missing, or what's changed? Thanks

My zoom sessions drop off and come right back on often.  If it does it a second time in the same meeting, I have to sign back in and then there are 2 of me on the screen, until I take back the session as leader.  I have multiple 30 minute sessions during the day (8-10) and this happens in probably 3 out of 10 sessions, sometimes more.  I get a message from zoom to report it, but this has been going on for more than a month.

Somehow I edited my meeting invitation. I would like to get rid of what I edited.  When I click meetings/personal room/copy invitation and invitation with the zoom info and then a personalized message from me shows up. I want to DELETE that personalized message.  Any suggestions?

How long can I be a participant of a meeting if I am a free user of zoom workplace basic ?

For the past few meetings I had, the videos of participants are all squashed to the top left of each "box" of where their video should've fit into. I have no idea what I can do to fix this bug, and I'm unnable to read the participant name as it is also squashed. Has anyone else experience this problem? (I'm using a Windows 10 and have the lastest zoom version)

On my paid account, looking at settings there is no option for advanced sharing of IOS...But on a free account I do have those options???

Dear Forum, Is there a way to simulteneosuly video-record a Zoom meeting and use OtterPilot (to transcribe the conversation)?It seems that if I use OtterPilot, it disables Zoom's video-record feature.  Currently, I simply video-record a Zoom meeting using Zoom's Record function and I run Otter independently as it eavesdrops the meeting.  But if Otter can be integrated with Zoom it may do a better job of transcribing the conversations.  Thanks!RST1851

The online help instructions (both the Zoom support article and the bot) incorrectly indicate you can change the location of the locally saved chat files by way of selecting a different save location in Settings. However, the latest version of Zoom seems to have removed that option, but the help instructions still say this is the way to do it. My chat files are now saving to my desktop, a new folder with a single chat file (usually blank) for every meeting, and it's a mess. I still want them to save automatically for the meetings where the chat is really helpful and needs to be shared around, but I want it back in the Zoom folder on my computer. I can't find a way to change the save location in this latest update. Does anyone know where to find this?

We have regular Zoom meetings where the board members vote on each agenda item via single-choice poll. The office staff who also attend the meeting but do not vote are listed in Zoom as co-hosts before the discussion begins, so we do not see the option to vote on the polls, and the total participant numbers for each poll do not include us. Over the last month or so, we've seen an issue where the number of participants in the polls is regularly one more than we actually have present. For example, if we have 5 board members present, the poll ticker will show 5 out of 6 votes cast, even though there are not 6 present. If we have another member join later, it will increase to 6 out of 7 when all have cast votes. None of the attendees are using more than one form of attendance (e.g., logged in on both laptop and phone).  Any idea on what the issue might be and any way we can fix it? 

When I've created meetings in the past and included a waiting room, once I've started the meeting and let everyone in, I have been able to disable the waiting room and all of the latecomers can join bypassing the waiting room. Now that function appears to be grayed out during the meeting. I can't find anything in the settings to change it. How do I change that so I can disable the waiting room during a meeting after I no longer need it?
