I can't update my app and it keeps telling me to contact the IT admin but I AM the admin! I can't get help on the phone, the chatbot is worse than useless and I can't log in to any of my meetings! please help asap!

Hi 

as an admin I would expect more details form your end to get help. What version are you unsing and what version are you try to update to? What OS are you using? Did you already try to download from the zoom page and just install over the existing one?

When I try to update the app, or log into the app, I get a message that says, "Your app version needs to be version 5.17.5 or higher to sign in. Please, contact your IT team to update your app."  I do not have an IT team, since I don't have a job, and I'm using a personal desktop computer. I'm using Windows 10. I tried downloading from the Zoom webpage and installing over the existing one, and I also tried uninstalling Zoom from my computer.

Is your login in to the webportal working?

what version of zoom client are you using and what Version would you like to update to?
Also what OS version are you using and have you already tried download the version from zoom download and install over the existing one?

WTF? This should be easy, not impossible. I have the identical problem and have seen no helpful response to date.

I agree!  It was a huge headache, and I had to wrestle with it for a while.  For a product that I pay to use every month, this shouldn't be so difficult.
