Hi. I have an issue and would like to ask for help. I am holding a basic zoom account. And usually the paid host will allow recording and i was able to save the recording on my laptop. Unfortunately, one day my laptop didn't work and i had to use my samsung s24 ultra to attend the zoom meeting. I found the record button and it even showed me that the host allowed recording, and i saw a recording button flashing on top of my screen. I also remembered seeing that the zoom will be saved to the cloud. But after the meeting. There is nothing. Not in cloud and of cos not in my phone.  Anyone can help? If i paid for the zoom now, will that recording still be ard? I checked with the host as well, nothing on her side.  This is an important meeting for me and i really hope i can retrieve the recording. Thanks. 

Hi, I have a brand new MacBook Pro with a M3 Pro processor, it's on the latest software versions for MacOS Sonoma as well for Zoom. With the switch to the new MacBook my Zoom background is suddenly permanently blurred and can't be changed. - no, and I'm not using the blurred filter. I don't want a blurred background.The blurred background happens with either cameras - Facetime, Elegato and OBS. I have a super clear picture when not using Zoom like e.g. streaming with OBS or Restream. So, it's a Zoom only issue. Has anyone experienced a similar issue and found a solution? 

On launch today, app updated to 5.17.11 on MacOS Video works on FaceTime camera and on connected Insta360 Link camera.Freezes when select Snap Camera (rely on filters)Worked fine until this morning.Even tried reverting to 5.17.10 and did not work

I’m hosting Zoom sessions on my 8th generation iPad (software version 15.2.1, if that applies).   I can’t find a way to set up breakout rooms.  Can I do this?  If so, how?

I joined a Zoom meeting via link hosted by a professor and recorded the meeting with permission. The meeting has ended but I cannot find the recording anywhere, does anyone know where I might be able to find it? I've tried searching in my computer downloads and in the Zoom recordings location. I don't know if it had an affect or not, but I did not hit 'stop recording', the call simply ended. Any information would be helpful at this point as my professor would also like the video. Thank you in advance!

I was set up as an alternative host on a zoom meeting. The original host cannot find the chat history. Can I access the history & if so, how? Normally I find the chat history in the my documents/zoom folder. The original host has these folders on their windows laptop but the zoom folder is empty. On my iPad Pro 5th generation, I am sharing a video (sound optimized) which shares fine for the participants but on my iPad the sound then becomes very low. Sound is fine before sharing. Everything is tuned up to max but I barely hear it. I have tried using an ear piece but same result. This makes it very hard to lead a class when the students can hear the video but I barely can.  Any suggestions?

Hi there. I am unexpectedly unable to travel next week, and have to give a course remotely. In order to see the participants, is it possible for all 30 of them who will physically in the same room to join the meeting on their own devices via my Zoom link, and mute themselves as I will also be projected on big screen, or will this create audio feedback on the connections? I don't think the hotel conference room they will be in has a videoconference system that would enable me to see the room, and I am looking for a way that basically I have to teach while only really talking to myself and not being able to see the room at all. Thanks for any feedback you are able to give. 

Hello, In the Waiting Room Config, any changes I make to logo, image or video are not saved to the system.  Meaning that when I log into my zoom room as a client, I see the old logo, image, or video not the new options I just uploaded.  Does anyone have a solution for this problem?Thanks in advance for your assistance! Christopher

I can no longer access  breakout rooms on zoom once I updated my MacBook Air to the Mac OS Sequoia 15.0.1. I called Apple support and they concluded that the setting for breakout rooms is either not there or has changed.  Has anyone experienced this?

I think I have found a way to see if someone is screen recording through third party software, usually the mic input will be the name of third party software and the speaker is usually a multi-output device.  I found a reddit comment that explains you can do this through backend admin settings ( Reddit link  ). I have a few questions surrounding this, would you need an enterprise account or pro account for this? Will it only tell you the name of mic + speaker if so can you tell if it's an aggregate device?  

I participate in a training course regularly where the entire day's courses are recorded via the cloud on Zoom. What seems to be happening now is that the film is automatically split into two parts by Zoom. Anyone know why? And is there any setting that needs to be changed? This has started happening about a month ago, and hasn't happened since the course started about three years ago. Thanks for any reply! /Dan 

Hello everyone, I'm facing an unusual problem with my Zoom app. My company Zoom account is linked to several calendars. Whenever I create an event, it shows up in all the connected calendars within Zoom (though it doesn’t appear in Google Calendar, which is where I manage events normally). Another issue is that I receive multiple reminders from each calendar for the same event, even after the event has concluded. For instance, if an event is scheduled for four hours but I end it after two, I still get reminders for that event’s start time from each calendar almost immediately after ending it. This is quite disruptive, as I end up with redundant notifications and a cluttered calendar in Zoom. Has anyone else experienced this issue? Any advice on resolving it would be much appreciated.Thank you in advance!Joanna

Hi everyone,I’m currently in a Zoom meeting, and I'm experiencing some major issues. The screen became distorted and pixelated, and the audio cut out completely. I tried a force shutdown, which temporarily fixed the audio, but then the screen started flickering and I encountered a bright light white screen. When I turned my camera on, it had a greenish filter.  I left the meeting and reconnected without any problems, but about 20 minutes later, the screen turned gray for about five seconds before fixing itself. I have also had intermittent white bright screen issues that are really concerning. I have only had this laptop for about two weeks. The recurring screen problem is particularly frustrating. If anyone else faced this similar issue? Any suggestions?   

Hello! It's my first post here. I will try to be as understandable as possible. A few days ago, approximately October 8, I received the Windows update and just Zoom as well. Well, I updated both and after that the audio during the university meetings (which is a distance course, that is, only by Zoom) started to get stuck every time I changed the window, from Word to Zoom, from Zoom to Chrome and so on. I always worked with 3 windows open, precisely those: Chrome, Word and Zoom, and even though my laptop is of low specifications, I never, ever had a problem.But anyway, I thought it was the Bluetooth headphones and I left it with the laptop speakers but it kept cutting out every time I changed windows and I started to rule out problems. i did this: -I updated the drivers, everything, not just sound. I created a recurring meeting to regularly hold monthly meetings. However they no longer show in the meetings list as I assume the recurring meeting "expired" before I could extend it. The meetings are still being held, and everyone is able to attend, but now I must go digging for the log in each time it is used.Is there a way to reschedule the recurring hearings with the same meeting id that already exists?Thanks.

Around mid-2024, I became unable to join zoom meeting breakout rooms when using my Android phone.  In September 2024 I purchased a new Android phone (Android Version 14), and I continue to get a pinwheel as soon as I tap join for a breakout room.  I have waited 5 minutes with the pinwheel and never got in.  I have seen the pinwheel and immediately left the meeting, rejoined the meeting to get another chance to join a breakout room, but the pinwheel appears again.Anyone else have this problem, and how did you fix?

When I try it says "to share your computer audio, please install the zoom audio device".    I'm on a mac. I have enabled screen recording for zoom in my system preferences. At a total loss here, please help 

Currently, the zoom timer app superimposes a clock onto the camera of the host when activated.Yet when the host turns camera off - For a break - the visual clock disappears. As many hosts will be using this for breaks/lunches/exercises where they will want to decativate their camera - It would be useful to keep displaying on the blank screen of the host.  I am aware it still displays in the top right corner - But that is insufficent as a visual nudge or cue to the audience.   

Using Windows 11I last used zoom on Wednesday, October 23.Today (10/25/24)  I see there are TWO zoom executable files in my downloads folder.I did not download these. Why is zoom putting unauthorized downloads on my computer?

A notification from zoom pops up when attempting to do so, and it states zoom's inability to do so: "Cannot Control Mic with AirPods Max"https://www.reddit.com/r/Zoom/comments/16zm69y/airpods_mute_feature_doesnt_work_with_macos_zoom/This works as expected and will unmute & mute when using the iOS zoom app, so this bug only applies to the macOS version of zoom.Please fix this!  It's a huge usability problem when taking calls from your laptop, and walking away for a short while.

A few weeks ago I joined a webinar. The company delivering the webinar recorded the session and have sent me a link together with a password to watch the session over again. I can watch the recording. However, I struggle to pause and restart it, it often will not restart. If I click to go back few minutes to listen again it often will not.  It was a technical session so the need to go back and forth is quite important. The link opens in Safari on my Mac both of which are up to date.  I have a good broadband connection and can stream the usual streaming channels and of course I took park in the original recording without an issue. Are there any particular settings I need to look out for on my Mac? Anything I might try to watch the recording without issue? Can I download the session and watch it locally? Thank you for your help. 

I have been experiencing Zoom Errors while trying to join meetings. First, there were no displayed errors, it just stopped working once i reach the Waiting Room. The issued persisted regardless of reinstalling, and restarting of device. I then reinstalled Windows, and at first it started working but then it started displaying "aomhost64.exe - entry point not found" with the message "The procedure entry point fatBinaryCtl could not be located in the dynamic link library C:\Windows\System32\nvopencl.dll" and I then found a solution in this page that I needed to install Microsoft Visual C++, which i did. But the problem persisted. Then I moved on to another solution which was reinstalling/updating graphic drivers. The error stopped appearing but the crashing still persisted, it would freeze at the Waiting Room and if I do get past it, it would display the meeting but would still be frozen an

I have turned on the setting to "show raised hand in toolbar" so that I can "Separate the Raise Hand reaction from the others for quicker access during a meeting"However, I have a weekly meeting and I still have to dig for the raised hand under the "reactions" button--it doesn't show as a separate one. Is this a setting that's unique to only MY meetings that I am hosting?
