How can i create a meeting where 20 people max register?

How can I have "Viewers can download" checked by default in all of my Zoom recordings in the Share Settings? I have to check them one by one after each recording is available right now. "Allow cloud recording sharing" is already enabled in the Settings page. I am on the Zoom Workspace Pro plan.

When I have completed the procedure to joing the confrence, I am told my name "is not connected: I am instructed to enter my Zoom account and find "display name" and then enter it. In all my account I couldn't find  "display my name."

Hi, I've seen a few similar posts, and have patiently waited for months to have a working solution on Wayland for screensharing, but so far it remains as broken as it was a year ago, so starting a new post to share all the relevant information. My only workaround until now was to rely on Zoom v6.0.2.4680 and downgrade Pipewire to v1.0.7, but it sadly stopped working (zoom would not even log any error message to stdout, so I'm not sure what's going on). The only option is to now embrace the newer versions, so I'm currently on v6.3.10.7150, which allows me to join calls but I can't share my screen at all. I've tried the suggested "Settings->Share screen->Advanced->Screen capture mode on Wayland set to Pipewire Mode" without success. Whether I set it to Auto, Original or Pipewire Mode, I get the same error pop-up saying the following:"Can not start screen share, choose one of the options: -

I am encountering two persistent issues on Ubuntu 24.10:- Screen sharing: I am unable to share a specific window or screen region, despite trying various solutions mentioned in forums (e.g., enabling PipeWire mode). This issue persists across version 6.3.1 and earlier versions.- Calendar events: Since version 6.3, it has become impossible to save a calendar meeting or event.Ubuntu 24.10 | GNOME 47 | Wayland | Linux 6.11.0.13 | pipewire 1.2.4 

we have a 5h zoom call (education / training) and would like to check like every 2h and at the end if our members are still actively there and not just logged in. is there a function/possibility to send sth like "please confirm your presence" with some kind of button which i can send to all members at the same time and they all have a button to confirm? how do i do that? 

I used to use the Facebook / Meta Portal as a Zoom device - it sat on top of the TV, had integrated software, camera and microphone and was great for zoom classes etc. when connected to the TV with an HDMI cable. As it no longer supports Zoom (the icon disappeared 31 Jan 2025) can anyone suggest a convenient alternative to avoid having to go back to a PC next to the computer which seems so 'last year'  Thanks

Здравствуйте, при выборе микрофона на наушниках не работает конференция в приложении зума и нельзя войти во вкладку звук в настройках. При заходе с браузера или иного микрофона такой проблемы не наблюдается. Как исправить работу с проблемным микрофоном? Простейшие операции по типу перевткнуть устройство или перезагрузить ПК уже выполнялись

Recently I've started noticing static (and others hear it too) in meetings when others are sharing or if  I am.It may be related to zoom audio settings. I don't get any static when playing music, watching videos or during audio testing. I run Windows11 on a Lenovo Yoga with Dolby capable speakers.

Hi,  I have a question. I was on a call today and I was trying to speak to someone, but they kept telling us that they couldn’t hear us. My volume was all the way up my Bluetooth was initially connected so I disconnected it. I made sure to select the microphone in my participants menu to make sure the mute was not on and the speaker was active. I noticed that the host’s name appeared in the very bottom, left hand of the screen. Beside their name, there was a microphone in red with a line through it, which I believe was indicating that the host, not the participant, was controlling the mute function for the call and had muted me.   I am attaching two photographs with red arrows. Both photographs are showing the participants microphone controls and the hosts controls for our call. From what I understand in my experience using Zoom and what I was able to review online, it is my belief that the reason the h

has the resize button been removed from the floating thumbnail view when sharing a screen.  it was the little square with the up arrow in the right corner.  I can no longer find it.  Seems to have disappeared. 

my technical support tickets keep getting closed and marked as solved instantly with no comment or anything, what is that? I cant get access to the live chat support, my tickets are ignored and marked as solved, how am i supposed to report a problem with this kind of system????My issue is that a meeting recording keeps crashing while trying to convert it. I've tried all the troubleshooting steps to no avail, reporting the issue doesnt seem to be a thing and neither does getting any support. Not impressed at all. Won't be surprised if this post gets deleted too.

As stated above. We want to replace using team-viewer with Zoom Remote Control, however we have all our PC's locked down with local user access only. So If I remote in and want to uninstall something for example, I have no way of entering the local Admin credentials (or ANY credentials for that matter) when they are asked of me.. I don't want to give the user the Admin passwords for the device for obvious reasons. Is there a way to enable this behavior so I CAN enter the credentials?This works flawlessly with Teamviewer, however if we can save money on buying yearly licenses and just roll it into one platform that would be great.Thanks

I have a Yeti microphone, but when I try to use it,  it fails (no one hears me), or it doesn't record it. I tried to adjust it in settings, but still, nothing.  How can I connect an external microphone so my audio is better?Thanks Ana 

I join a meeting each month and this month I asked to share the screen.  We learn that no one is host or has access to the web portal.  The link was provided through my organization but we don't know who the original admin is.  I tried to "Claim Host" and input my 6 digit host key but it was not accepted.  If there any way I can share a presentation? 

Hello, I am in a redundant cycle of being able to join a meeting. I have tried on multiple browsers, uninstalled the the desktop application, reinstalled, checked for updates, and still unable to join a meeting. I keep getting the "Join a new meeting?" pop-up. "You will have to leave this meeting to join the new meeting." Option 1: Leave and join         Option 2: CancelI always click "Leave and Join" option but it  sends me back to the landing page with these options- Join a meeting - Greyed out, unable to click on it- Sign up- Sign inI have signed in and it's the situation. Can someone please help out?     Bueller? Bueller?

Until the last couple of weeks my zoom meetings have been exported/synced directly to my ical calendar. This has sudden ly stopped working and I cant seem to reset it - keeps trying to get me to use Microsoft Outlook. Really annoying when this has been working perfectly until now. Im thinking I will have to stop my account and look for an alternative.

Hisuddenly the function sharing changed.When I launch a zoom session and try to share my screen, it is impossiblle to share the zoom screen.If I chose desktop, another page appears, if I close the browser, another screen apepars, but not the zoom session open.What should I do?I checked the settings in our account with no results.Please help me

Hi I have a Acer C27 Aspire PC that runs Windows 11. Recently, when I do a test call using Chrome, the volume coming out of my speakers is so low that it is barely audible. I have tried various fixes to no avail. If anyone had any ideas on how I can remedy this, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your help.

I am struggling with zoom's audio - the setting is currently on audio streaming. I am trying to set it back to my mic. I clicked on streaming by mistake and now zoom won't let me select anything else. As soon as I try to open zoom audio settings it buffers, and then says not responding. I have force quit the program a number of times, reset my computer and am stumped. I am trying to figure out how to reset zoom, or uninstall - but I am not seeing the uninstall option on zoom app or through the desk top. Any suggestions welcome.
