Hi there,I teach online every week and send zoom invites out from my iphone (using the apple email software on my phone).  It usually works but this week the links say 'Virus Error Zoom Meeting Invitation' in the links I have sent to two students.I can re-send the email content i.e. the links from my main PC and not include this 'virus error' text which is in the subject line.  But why would this have happened please?  Any ideas?

This happened suddenly and I haven't yet found a way to fix it.  My camera zooms all the way in so you're literally looking at a closeup of my nostrils.  I can't get far enough away to get "in frame."  Can anybody tell me how I can re-adjust some setting(s) so people don't think I have a giant head in Zoom meetings.  Seriously, I have a big Zoom today and need a fix.  Anyone?

 Version 6.2.11 (50939) For iPhone: There seems to have been a change today for using chat for direct message . You have to open participants then left click and select chat. Is there a way to do this on iPhone?

Hi everyone,I'm experiencing a recurring issue with Zoom (Pro version): during meetings, the interface becomes unresponsive.I can’t click on any of the icons (mic, camera, participants, share screen, etc.), and I’m also unable to leave the meeting normally.I’m forced to end the task via Windows Task Manager to close Zoom.Here’s what I’ve tried so far:Restarted my computerUpdated Zoom to the latest versionFully uninstalled and reinstalled ZoomClosed all background applicationsNothing has fixed the issue so far.Has anyone faced the same problem or found a solution?Thanks in advance!François

Hi everyone! I am having a problem and I'm at a loss as to how to solve it. I tutor students online, and Zoom is an important tool I use. I also use Google Drive, and I'm trying to let a young student use Google Drive during the Zoom call. Here's what's happening: This particular student is very young, and has limited technical skills. He has trouble switching between tabs or going to the next slide in Google Slides, or finding his cursor in Docs. I've tried sharing documents and work with him directly, but he can't remember how to get back to the Zoom call's main screen, and he has to get a parent to help every time. He doesn't have a particularly long attention span, even for his age, so we're changing activities frequently. He was getting a parent to help him switch activities, and unfortunately, that was taking a lot of time from our sessions. Next, I tried offering him remote control access, so that I could open up the appropriate file, sha

I am trying to find the exact length of time from actual start to finish for a recent zoom meeting. The "Previous Meetings" tab only shows the scheduled times and not the actual time elapsed. Is this information somewhere I might be overlooking or is it just not available? Thanks!

There is contradictory information about this online.  On Zoom's advice page for audio transcriptions, it says: Requirements for using audio transcriptionA Pro, Business, Education, or Enterprise accountBut if you look at the Plan Comparison chart, it says transcripts are not available with PRO or PRO PLUS, only with BUSINESS and above. What's the truth?!?!

Trying to record a zoom presentation with just a meeting with myself, but there is no record button. I went into my account and I am the admin but there is still no option in the settings to record .

I am a horse trainer and have the following requirement for Zoom: I would like to record an online training session with the following settings:Only the customer’s screen should be recordedBut the audio recording should include both me and the customerHow can I set this up in Zoom? So far, the recording always shows the screen of the person who is currently speaking. When watching the recording, the view constantly switches back and forth. Hi I have an issue with local recording of a Zoom meeting using immersive view.  Whenever I record a meeting, all my guests are in excellent HD quality, but me, as host, am very blurred and in low quality, as is the immersive background image (which is perfect quality on screen and for everyone else)!  This happens no matter what camera I use, or what computer.  I have tried using an iMac, MacBook Pro and a brand new Mac Studio, but the result is always the same—the recording of the host and background is low quality, whilst the recording of all other guests is perfect.  I have checked that my Zoom setting is set to HD and the account is set to 'Group HD' recording. I would be very grateful if somwone could suggest a fix (or workaround) for this as a matter of urgency. I just created a full year of PowerPoint monthly presentations for our support group, it was my first go at is, and the first meeting in mid-April worked fine.  No when I start a meeting in the desktop app (My Workspace on Zoom) the Share Screen button doesn't even show up.  All the others like invite do.  When I try from online, I get "share is not available for this meeting?

I've noticed that the conversion of a local recorded session uses only CPU and uses no GPU even when there is additional dedicated GPUs in the system.A good enhancement would be to be able to "detect" (or configurable) and "use" at least a CUDA/NVIDIA engines to accelerate the conversion using CPU and GPU (as usually done on any video editor and rendering system)

I have a Macbook Pro and every time I schedule a Zoom call Outlook launches.  How can I stop this.  I never use Outlook and wonder how to disable it or in some other way get rid of it? Any advice in layman's terms is appreciated.

Hello,I am an admin on my company account, and a fellow admin recently noticed that avatars were available for our account. I tried setting one up for myself, and I can see the option to add an avatar in the Zoom app if I'm not logged in. As soon as I log in (necessary to create the avatar), the option disappears. I have checked our account settings and the avatar option is enabled for all users. How can I fix this?Thanks,Lisa

Hi,I have a question regarding meeting notifications. Suppose the host is Person A, and I am Person B (a co-host). If another attendee (Person C) joins the meeting before both A and B, is it possible for Zoom to send a notification email to B (the co-host), rather than to A (the host)?We’d like someone other than the host to be notified if participants join early. I've created 8 non-recurring meetings. Once the meetings have ended, some appear on the Previous Meeting list while the others do not. I don't believe any account settings were changed during the scheduling process (the account is shared with others in the office). Could it be the meeting IDs expired? But even if a meeting ID expired shouldn't the meeting still show in the Previous Meeting list? I am generating new Meeting IDs when scheduling all the meetings. The next meeting that will likely NOT show on the Previous Meeting list is on June 1, 2025. I'd like to know if there is something I can change NOW before the meeting to ensure it will show on the Previous Meeting list. Thanks!

Hi All, Recently started a new job and I do a lot of work assisting my boss with hiring people. She asked me today to schedule a zoom interview with a job candidate. There will be a panel of 5 people interviewing this candidate. My boss stated in her email to me requesting the scheduling of this zoom interview: “the interview should start about 20 mins before the candidate joins so that we as the panel can get organized.” Is there a way to schedule the meeting so that is starts at let’s say 11am for the interviewers, but 11:20am for the candidate? Thanks so much for any help you can provide! The Virtual background feature of Zoom stopped working on my Windows computer 4 weeks ago and I have absolutely no idea why. It was working very well until then. Anyone can help?

I have a Lenovo P14 laptop with Ubuntu 24.04 installed with all updates.  When I open Zoom, my audio is completely dead... going into system settings and trying to test returns silence.  Close Zoom, and sound returns.  I'm at 6.4.10 (2027) and had the same behavior with 6.4.6 (1327) earlier today.  My sound devices are identified as Meteor Lake-P  I'm happy to provide anything that'll help figure this out.

When I click on the Zoom meeting link it takes roughly 2 minutes to connect to the meeting. As a result I am always late.  What can be done to reduce the delay?

I turned off avatar in settings but avatars are still enabled. Please help.

In my online Zoom account, under settings, I have "Waiting Room" turned off. However, when I set up a meeting (it doesn't matter if it is a scheduled meeting or a "start meeting" where I then send an invite link to people) people are put in a waiting room. We're just trying out zoom for a new business, so apparently, I don't have access to either phone or chat support, so I'm hoping this community can help. Thoughts on how to fix this? Success is simply that when people join a meeting, they get right in without having to wait in a room and be admitted, regardless of if it is a scheduled meeting or a start now-type meeting. Thanks for any help.
