I cannot for the life of me figure out how to turn off the camera (or avatar icon) from appearing in the upper right corner of the screen when a presenter is sharing their screen. We are a camera club and frequently show/discuss photographs. We want NOTHING on the shared screen but the shared image itself. It would be really nice if this could be turned off with a keyboard combination and even better still if it could be turned off as a default and left that way. Almost never do we need to see the presenter in the upper corner of the screen. How can I eliminate this?  (Don't suggest "Hide non-video participants."  That doesn't work even if the presenter's camera is turned off.  The static profile picture still appears in the upper right corner).  

Hello,May I know if Zoom has the feature which basically allows you to auto share the recording (e.g. you know the meeting will be recorded) with certain people when the recording is ready in cloud? Or is it more of a manual process only?Thanks

Can someone please explain where the button to host a meeting NOW in my Personal Meeting Room is located ?It can no longer see it on the Home screen where I used to start a meeting anytime I needed to The only way I've found to do this is to schedule this as a meeting every day and It's clogging up my diary ! Help please

I had this issue with Mint Linux and now Ubuntu Linux with running zoom-client. Always using the newest versions.The hosts window cannot be 'pinned' when others join causing the hosts window to be minimized and moved to the top of the screen as if a client and not the host. Also, no other window can be pinned either. The video source sometimes gets scrambled or freezes up when others join the meeting.I am not sure what information is needed. Ubuntu v24.04 LTS and Zoom's newest version. Surprisingly, the audio does work.

I am trying to enable playback of training videos that were recorded. the link and codes are available, but im not able to access them unless i pay for an account. all of my coworkers are using free accounts. why can't i? 

I want to use these funtions in my device but they are noti that not in my machine. I try in my surface pro 6 they are ok. Please check 

I have never encountered a company that has such a lack of respect and support for its customers. Zoom seems only interested in taking money and not listening to its customers at all. A Disgrace given its industry position,

Zoom video doesn't work on my Dell xps Intel evo I5 laptop  (not sure if this is the right description). Video works on all other apps and features on the laptop and i have just spent 1 hr troubleshooting with Dell who say there is nothing wrong with the laptop, it is a zoom issue. I have googled and searched  zoom community and followed all the tips and trouble shooting in general terms from uninstalling, reinstalling, logging in and out, security checks, windows checks, camera setting checks, browser security checks. I have tried the zoom app and the browser and to no avail.   Please help.

It would be so, so helpful if the host of a meeting was able to alert the participants in a specific breakout room that they're coming in before entering the room, and without messaging all the other rooms at the same time. Even just a setting you could turn on that would sound a "doorbell" whenever someone enters a breakout room would be great. Even better would be if the host could send messages to individual participants (and have the participants message the host) when the host isn't in the same room. The use case: I'm a mediator. The breakout rooms often have confidential, emotionally-weighty conversations. The participants are aware that I might pop in at some point, but it's awkward to interrupt them mid-sentence, especially if they haven't noticed that I've arrived. I also don't necessarily want everyone in all the breakout rooms to know when I'm entering or leaving each room, so sending an announcement to all rooms doesn't

When you start a zoom meeting using its integration with Google Chat (@zoom start) and then finish the call, the zoom app automatically sends a meeting summary on chat. This is always comes a new message in that chat which often makes us think it is a new message from that person, but it's only the "meeting summary". It would be fantastic if we had the autonomy to disable that. It will keep the conversations on Google Chat cleaner and reduce the overload of notifications. 

By default, Zoom messes with Windows and Mac mic input volume. After quitting Zoom, the levels stay at whatever Zoom left them at, which affects other programs negatively. This issue can be disabled via a logged in Audio option in the app, but that leaves out logged out users and browser users. Zoom should either:Restore mic input levels to what they were before Zoom was launched, in both the browser and the appGive logged out users and browser users the option to disable automatic changes to input levels, same as those logged inUse cases: when I rush to make a meeting, sometimes there isn't time to log in (especially when using a frequently-expiring SSO), or sometimes I'm using a device where a browser is the only option. Since I have this audio option disabled on my app, I don't know or expect the input volume to change. It happens in the background, and I only discover the issue later when making a call or using another program

today ii had two meeting on zoom where I was the host. in both meetings, it said "recording in progress", but the meeting were never actually recorded, the recording icon appeared at the top, but now that im trying to find the recordings, nothing shows up. I don't understand what's going on 

Recently, my user installed Zoom Workspace Version 6.4.10 (64378) on his new notebook, which is running Windows 11. He found that when joining a meeting, Zoom meeting often disconnects automatically after a few minutes. However, he can rejoin the meeting without issues, and everything remains normal until to end of the session. Do you have any ideas about what might be causing this and how to resolve it? Thank you.

Hello,  I have not been using my Zoom account for more than 1 year.  It seems that the personal free Zoom videoconference room - which I had created more than 2 years ago - exists no longer. However, all my correspondents had my Zoom contact details. After how long does Zoom Company delete the free conference rooms? Can Zoom Company make it reviving? If it is possible, how may I present a request to that end? Thanks in advance.

Good morning.  I just joined with a Pro Membership.  I have attended plenty of zoom meetings but I've never set up one or managed an account.  So, complete newby on that front.  I did get signed up easily and I set up a meeting for tomorrow.  Sent out the invitations, which I believe everyone got.  I will be hosting this meeting in a different location from my office and was intending to do so on my laptop.  However, I am unable to login to zoom with my account credentials.  When I try, it just spins.  Never gives me an error message.  But it won't login.  I have cleared the browsing history and the cookies, still the same.  Please help.  Thank you.

In some situations, I need to temporarily mute the speaker on my iPhone while in a Zoom meeting. I've tried turning the volume all the way down using the iPhone buttons, and I've also tapped on the speaker icon at the top left of the screen, but there's still sound coming out of the speaker.   Is this a bug in the app, or a deliberate feature, for example to avoid forgetting you're in a meeting?

Le problème est que ma voix est claire dans l'enregistrement, mais celle de l'autre participant est très faible, voire inaudible . J'ai déjà vérifié et réglé le volume de sortie du Chromebook au maximum, mais cela ne résout pas le problème. J'utilise la version web de Zoom (et non l'application), et cela se produit à chaque réunion. Quelqu'un a-t-il déjà rencontré ce problème ? Existe-t-il un paramètre ou une solution spécifique pour garantir que la voix de mon participant soit correctement enregistrée ? Merci d'avance pour votre aide.

Hoping to find a list of users with their OS and software version, so I can keep them all up to date.  I know I can set a force option, but I do no want that.   Any ideas?

We have an account that needs to record EVERY meeting with video, audio and transcript. All our accounts have the recording settings accordingly. However, once the meeting is processed there are cases where the video is missing, the transcript is missing or both. We are trying to reach out to support but are unable to. This is a critical issue because we work with education and we need all recordings for every session. 

Its taking long while joining a meeting. I have tried logging in using Zoom link, meeting id & password, clicking on Join from zoom app, accpeting a call directly - same observation. Its just showing connecting. I have uninstalled and re-installed Zoom. I am using Zoom workplace, corporate edition & current version is Version: 6.4.10 (64378). Even after host has opened the room, its taking min 3 mins for me to join. Till then its showing as 'Connecting'. How can this be resolved? Please help!

I added a color to my virtual background somehow. I cant find that option to disable it anymore and the default None/ Blurred retains the  pink color accidentally selected. How can I return it to default None Background- BTW- I do have it set to None already and its staying pink. Cant get a live person to help. Any one else had this and corrected it? When I share my screen - the screen I am sharing appears as a super tiny screen, 3 inches by 3 inches.  I cannot make it bigger.  I have tried every setting in settings.  Nothing changes.  My shared screen appears as this little tiny screen attached to the top of the screen in the middle or the bottom.
