the attendees in the Zoom webinar do not have video options. how to enable the video for attendees in the Zoom webinar
I can't seem to find a definitive answer to this - we use webinars to livestream our classes and need to run more than one at a time. If I purchase 2 licenses, can I run 2 webinars at the same time?
Hi, Has anyone experience the following issue? It appears that a empty lower third is placed in a webinar production. We did not activate any lower third as we work with OBS for the picture production.Glad to hear what you think?Cheers, Andrea
For an event we're hosting we would like to have people join in breakout groups. In addition to this we would like the groups to be able to see each other in the main session when the presenter is speaking. Does anyone know if this can be done on zoom?
Hey, I want to see how many Webinar Participants saw the recording, after they got a link from me. It shows me how many people saw it (including my domain-adress) but they are listed as "Guest". So, my question is whether they are participants or someone else who has an access to our Firm Zoom Account? Kind regards,
We host a webinar that requires users to register with their email address. We do not require authentication because there are some attendees who do not have Zoom accounts. Twice in the past week we have had someone who was not registered on the webinar and place Spam into our chat and then immediately drop. The email address of the user on the attendance report was not an email that was registered for the webinar, so they did not get a webinar link sent to that email address. We are trying to figure out how they are getting in? I've read if someone is forwarded a link by someone who had registered, when they logged in it would show the original registered email in the list of participants. That is not happening. A brand new email, one that is not on our registration list, is showing up as a participant. Would love to figure out how this is happening.
In a recording of a webinar I recently attended, I saw that the cameras of some attendees were turned on and apparently were visible to the host throughout the meeting. How can I find out if my camera was on or off? I read somewhere that for attendees in a webinar, if there is a “video settings” button next to the “audio settings” button at the bottom of the screen, that means your camera is on. If I didn’t have a “video settings” option available, does this mean that my video was turned off?
When you share a video why does it show to webinar participants the information that the named person is sharing their screen, before the video or slide comes up?? Can this be hidden?
Since yesterday I've attended several webinars with many questions and answers, but I can only see my own question in the Q&A box. I've checked with another user and there were hundreds. Why can't I see them?
For some reason when I'm in presenter mode during a webinar (in Google Slides and presumably powerpoint) I can't open the chat box. The Q&A and participant boxes pop up just fine, but not the chat. I've tried popping out the chat box before entering presenter mode but still no luck. Does anyone have a solution to this? Thanks!
Hi,What happens if I'm hosting a webinar, advancing slides (with no co-host), and I lose connectivity during the event? Does the webinar end for everyone? Thanks!
Hey Everyone,I am trying to track attendance on our zoom meetings with clients through Hubspot. The only way I have found to do this is through the webinar feature. The issue with the webinar feature is that I want I would like it to perform similarly to the meetings function. I know, they are not the same thing and I understand I am looking for a workaround. The goal is that each person can be sent a single link to the webinar and it will have them attend as a panelist rather than an attendee. this way they can mute/unmute themselves and interact in what feels like the same as a meeting does currently.Any thoughts or suggestions on a possible workaround would be very helpful! Thanks in advance to anyone who contributes!
My TV is a Panasonic Smart TV - "TX-40JX850B 40" Smart 4K Ultra HD HDR LED TV". I have been trying to watch Zoom conferences on it, via the Web Browser (supplied with the TV), but I keep getting the error message - "Server Not Found (E-302)". This link worked on Friday (09-12-22) on my PC, but it gave me the error message, when I tried using it on my TV web browser- https://tinyurl.com/5c3af4ym.I have asked this question of Panasonic, but they can't help me, they suggested that I got in touch with Zoom. They do have a number of in-built Apps on this TV, but Zoom is not one of them.Any advice?
Hello, I have contacted Eventbrite and I have done all the steps and everything works on their side.I need to connect a zoom webinar account to one of our event and it keeps saying that there is no permission from zoom to do so. The event is in a couple of days, please help me out and you can contact me on *********** Thanks a lot in advance.
We are hosting a 5 day conference (3 hours each day) with a variety of speakers. The speakers time slots are predetermined. In between speakers we have included 15 minute time slots for sponsors (vendors) to present. Is there a way that sponsors can register and choose and claim an open time slot to present?
I recently held a webinar with two speakers. I wanted to show both speakers at the same time regardless of who was talking at any given time. I followed the instructions on the zoom support page which said that I needed to 'spotlight speakers for everyone' which I did. Both speakers were shown at all times during the webinar, but the recording was switching back and forth between the speakers whenever one of them was talking. I need to have BOTH speakers faces shown during the recording for marketing purposes. Can anyone tell me how to do this?
When attending zoom events, link/invite is in Facebook, I can't hear the presenter or others in the zoom event, or sometimes the speaker's voice is warbled. I test my audio (video and microphone) prior to each session and everything is working as expected. What is wrong?
My colleagues and I host a webinar series. At the end of the presentation, we often need to talk with the speakers without attendees being able to hear or see us. Is there a way to force exit all the attendees at once, leaving only the hosts and panelists? Currently we are having to end the webinar for each individual attendee one by one which is tedious and time-consuming. Any suggestions or are we missing something?
People register for our webinars using our website which uses the JWT API. The registrations always includes name email and 1 custom field which use information from our database. This normally works perfectly but at our latest webinar it turns out that at least two people who successfully registered using this method joined the webinar with a second registeration (different id) which has no custom fields and uses a different email that is not in our database. (one of them had a typo the other a alternative gmail adress). If i request the registrants using the api I find that the normal registrations using our API method contain a lot of empty fields we don't use like address, city, country, zip, state, etc.But these outliers dont even have those fields. The only fields they contain are first_name (which has first and last name in it weirdly), email and an empty custom fields array. I don't understand how these people got a second registration that i'm pretty
I joined an AbilityNet webinar today - seeing someone else's desktop and the presenters gallery only was shown.I could see the presenters, and presenter's slides & audio were fine. The usual participant control toolbar was different: No video on/off feature - saw "Audio settings" in the bottom left hand corner only, followed by Chat / Raise hand / Q&A / Closed CaptionNo participants were visible in the gallery view. The chat feature was disabled. How do I get to see my own picture and / or those of any attendees ?How can the chat facility be re-enabled ? Hovering over the screen with my mouse didn't reveal any other options. Thank you.
I AllHow to change user name in webinar and keep all the template he have ?
Hi! We're trying to enable live auto closed captioning with Rev.com for Zoom webinar. We're already using Restream for livestream to our FB and YouTube pages and launch this when we begin our webinar. We cannot add Rev to the Restream platform because they don't support it. How do we keep our livestream with Restream in tact and add Rev.com closed captioning to our zoom webinar? Thanks!
Some people are registering for our event tomorrow and most are getting an email that they are registered and then that their webinar registration is canceled. It is happening right after they register. We are not denying registration from other countries. Yesterday we turned off the auto approve, because clearly we can't trust Zoom to approve. HELP - We can't manage the emails and us registering them by hand (which sometimes doesnt even work)Shay in Red Deer, AB
This is first time we are attempting a hybrid webinar. The co-host will present content to those who are inperson by mirroring laptop and then remote to attendees. Would like to use camera for co-host to address both audiences. I have seen something like this similar where the speaker was visible in upper corner with our impeding on content
If I create/set up a webinar, can someone else host it for me in my absence? What about their ability to run the Q & A session? Do they need any special permissions or instructions? There is a 2-day webinar I host that is typically split into two days because of two topics being presented. I also monitor the Q & A for each day associated with the webinar/invites. The idea presented recently was to make it a 1 day format, but I cannot be in two places at the same time. If I created two webinar invites, could I host/monitor one and then assign the other one to be hosted/monitored by another person? We need the webinar format and not meetings. Breakout session would be ideal, but that's only for meetings and not webinar. Also, the issue of needing to monitor both sessions would still be an issue in breakout session. I cannot monitor Q & A for both times/sessions.
