I am following these instructions to migrate from the old Salesforce Zoom App to the New one.https://support.zoom.com/hc/en/article?id=zm_kb&sysparm_article=KB0057654 It seems the bit about "Disable webinar triggers" is wrong.Zoom sent 6500+ emails to my customers alerting them that their registration changed. Even for webinars in the past and folks who didn't even attend. Should this article be updated to check the box for "Avoid Webinar Tigger"? Or is there some other way to prevent the messaging from going out?I haven't done the attendee migration yet because of this.
We're hosting a webinar where we only want people to attend who we know. We want to avoid registrants from sharing the webinar link with people we don't know, who might turn up to the webinar even though they haven’t registered. I did a test webinar, which showed me this is possible to do. Is authentication the only way to avoid this? We're having trouble with authentication because people aren't familiar with it, they're trying to register for the webinar using a different email with that associated with their Zoom account/profile, or they don't have a Zoom account/profile to start with. And we're worried some might find they've forgotten their Zoom password at the start of the webinar if they haven't used it for a while. In short, authentication is an obstacle for those who aren't super-familiar with Zoom. Anyone else found this? Any suggestions?
Hi All, With webinars, is there a way we could have someone else receive the email when someone registers other than just the host? I have tried to put an additional email address in the email contact but it didn’t seem to like having more than one address. One option is to forward on the registration when we get them but we can’t think of anyway it could be done automatically. - any ideas? Thanks
I have puchased a Zoom webinar licence for my org but want to allow others in my team to view and amend or set up future webinars. How do I go about doing that? Do the individuals need to have a Zoom One Pro licence? Or do they need to have a Webinar licence? Seems a bit much as we are only holding one webinar at a time.
We regularly receive invitations to webinars from one of our suppliers. When we try to register for the webinars, we receive the following message:The e-mail address *********** cannot be used to register for this webinar. We do not have a Zoom account. What can we do to be able to participate in the webinars again?
Hello community, We are trying to organize a hybrid event (physical and online) using Zoom webinars. Our idea is to have a general session for everyone and then divide the groups into 2 different breakout rooms. My questions are:- I currently do not have the rights to add breakout rooms in webinar format. If i create a webinar now (without the rights) and then get the rights to add Breakouts, will I be able to modify the webinar already created? So as to keep the same ID.- Can we record the breakout sessions as they occur?- Can attendees choose their desired session on the spot?- When the attendees arrive in the breakout sessions, can we already have a host in the session before launching it? If anybody could help me that would be great!!Thank you
I ran a webinar. Can some one please explain to me: 1. What does the Approval Status Column mean? Some say approved and others have nothing2. I have attendees with the same details (name, surname, email etc) however the login and log off times are different
I've set up many webinars as classic ones, but on-demand will work better for us. If I convert them will:the URL to the registration page change?the registrants keep the same URL to log in? By the way, I already know how to convert them, so I do not need that information. I just need the answers to the questions above. Thanks!
Do attendees and absentees in on-demand webinars receive a follow-up email with the survey link?
I am not receiving email confirmations from Zoom after registering for a webinar even though I get the message that says You Have Registered and an email was sent to the email on file. But no email comes so I don't get the webinar information.
Please help out. I received the webinar registration link for zoom but when clicked it returns errors on the zoom home page. Please I will just add the link and my email. Support team your bot wouldn't let me reach human support and could not be useful. Please resolve backend where possible I have just a few hours. Thanks Link: https://us06web.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN§OV-bKWCBQByYigDKCIJZigEmail address: *********** P.S: I already downloaded and installed the zoom app.
We have a webinar scheduled for tomorrow but it has totally disappeared. If I login from the app on my phone it shows but not on my desktop which is where I need to do stuff because the app limits you. HELP!
I was a co-host for a 4 day webinar last night. 1. One of our registered attendees emailed me and said that she wasn't able to get in because: This meeting is for authorized registrants only. Please enter another email address. When I looked at the list of people that had signed up, her name and email were both spelled correctly. Can someone tell me what the problem might be and some remedies for this.2. We also had some people register at the last minute, and because they weren't on the list given to me, I removed them from the Waiting Room, keeping them from getting back in. Will this keep them from being able to join for the rest of the sessions? If so, what needs to be done to get them in? Thanks in advance for your help!
Hi all, In 09.2020 we held a Webinar via Zoom. is it possible to get a recording of that webinar?

In simulive online webinars, does this mean that users cannot somehow watch the webinar from a mobile phone? Neither from the app nor from the browser? In fact, because in today's era at least 66% of the digital presence on the web is from a mobile phone, how can the simulive webinar feature be useful? Obviously I can't do sales or marketing with such a restriction on my clients.I will rejoice in repentance 🙂
I have tested this in two different zoom events from two separate accounts. When requiring registration for things like job title and organization (and also custom questions) the report exports with thee fields listed at N/A. This information is super important to my organization and after having registered over 200 people for our most recent event, to not be able to have this info is a huge loss. We tried this on a Zoom session with a single event with email registration and in a different account with a Zoom Event with email registration options. Both had the required check boxes turned on for Job title and Organization. Any other solutions?
Hi I'm downloading an Attendee report for a recent webinar and there is data missing from certain fields Fields such as Country, State, Job Title and two custom question fields aren't pulling through the data through. What do I need to do to populate those fields? Attended User Name (Original Name) First Name Last Name Email Country/Region State/Province Organization Job Title Registration Time Approval Status Join Time Leave Time Time in Session (minutes) Custom Question 1 Custom Question 2 Country/Region Name Yes John Smith John Smith *********** Acme Company Oct 21, 2021 09:22:33 approved Nov 17, 2021 11:54:58 Nov 17, 2021 13:58:58 124 Australia
Hi. Lately zoom automatically includes sub-titles in the webinar recording. Since my language is not available of course what it shows is not usable. I have tried general settings as adviced both for my general zoom profile and also tried inside the zoom webinar (when I am present) but then the menu option to disable is not available. Right now I cannot use the recording which is a big problem. What can be commented is that I am re-using an previous zoom webinar invitation and just changing the date of the webinar (to avoid to change the zoom link in all my emails for customers). Could this be what is causing the issue? Thanks and so greatful for any ideas that could help me.Best regards,
We held a webinar and we want to make the recording available to our attendees plus a handful of people who could not get to attend it. So if we change the settings and allow sharing of video with people who have the recording link, in this case if people share the recording link with someone else along with passcode, even that person gets an access. What can we do to prevent this?
I am just getting started with zoom events and I am trying to set up a webinar. I want people to have to register in advance, but it looks like people have to authenticate themselves with zoom (either via a one-time passcode sent via email or having an account with zoom) before they can register. Is there a way to turn that off?
Is there a way to download attendee questions after the webinar has ended?
Hello,I've added the ability for someone to leave a question / comment for an upcoming webinar - but I can't find out where to access what has been submitted? I can see the list of people registered, and when I download that list it doesn't include what was submitted in that field. Thanks,Rachel
Essentially looking for a way to use any Zoom package to create a live intro + pre recorded main webinar + live outro? Maybe you know other tools who have that
