If I share out the link to a webinar cloud recording, the client is able to see the video and transcript and can toggle on and off the closed captioning. If I download a webinar recording, there's a file for the recording, transcript, chat, etc. If I share out the recording after downloading, is there a way for them to be able to see the transcript as they watch the recording like they do when it's shared out from Zoom or is it really just watching the video and opening the transcript separately since they are separate files?
We use Zoom sessions/events. i just hosted a webinar that had breakout rooms. in my main room people were saying they couldn’t locate the breakout rooms but when I went to find them to directly add them, the names provided in the QA weren’t under unassigned. Thinking they used another name I asked if it could be either of these few first names and both answered no. How can this be? our participants were not pre assigned rooms but instead were supposed to be able to kind of dabble in either of the rooms the picked. Also, one person could not find the breakout option at and she was on laptop. Anyone know if this is expected?
I have searched for this information and cannot seem to find how to accomplish this. If we are conducting a webinar how can we show the slides only and not the presenter. Our presenter shows up in the top right corner, how do we hide them from not only their view, but also the participants view? Thank you!
can we: set a panelist that isn’t a part of our workplace but is a licensed account?set a panelist that isn’t a part of our workplace but is not a licensed account?
During a live webinar, when attaching a PDF in the chat feature, the attendees are prompt to download the document before they can view. Is there a way that the attendees can view the document as opposed to downloading it first? The option to view is only available after downloading. I reviewed and confirmed my settings are set correctly as the host. I am looking for a similar process like on a WebEx platform- Attendees can click on the attachment and it will open to be viewed. The attendees can then decided to save the document.
I am trying to export the responses to custom questions along with the attendee list in Zoom Webinar, but I am unable to do so. When I export the registrant information, the custom question responses do not appear. How can I include the custom question responses in the export? Thank you for your help!
Our organization has been using the ASL interpretation feature for our webinars for over a year now. We record webinars to the cloud. We have been making the interpreters panelists so they can come into the practice session and then making them co-hosts so they can speak if necessary (I just noticed there is an "allow interpreter to speak" feature but I was not aware of that). The post-webinar download files have always included separate interpreter files, and although we couldn't use these in our LMS we were able to refer people back to the Zoom recordings as a workaround if they needed ASL. In the recording on Zoom they were able to enable interpretation and watch with ASL. Yesterday we set our webinar up as we usually do, however there are no ASL files available for download after the webinar and no interpreter feature in the Zoom recording. I was hoping interpreters would at least be visible in the gallery view recording, but the interpreters are not visible i
Can anyone with a Zoom Events/ Hubspot integration confirm whether viewers who have ONLY watched the recording are being sent to Hubspot? I have 82 people on the Zoom Event Attendance Details report and only 64 on my integrated Hubspot attended list. I can't figure out if it's people who have just watched the recording. The missing people all have N/A against the "session join time" in the Zoom Event Attendance Details report. Some, but not all, have watched the recording. I do have people marked as watching the recording who do appear in the "attended" list, but it appears they also joined the session live. I am in touch with Zoom support about the issue, but one solution was to re-do the installation. I am not sure that's the problem, so I don't want to do it if anyone else has an answer?
Hi, my organization hosts monthly webinar sessions and provides ASL interpretation for each. For years, we've been adding the ASL interpreters as panelists and pinning their videos during the presentation so that the ASL interpretation is captured in the recording. With the recent changes Zoom has made to the ASL feature, this does not seem to be working any longer and I'm wondering if anyone else has run into this issue. The information I have found via Zoom regarding activating and using the new ASL interpretation feature seems complicated and confusing to manage during the session (for the facilitator, interpreters and the people needed interpretation), and I have not been able to find any information about how to set up the ASL interpreters so that the ASL interpretation is captured in the recording of a webinar. Are other people running into this issue? If you are offering ASL interpretation for webinars, how are you recording that ASL interpretation? I we
We currently use Zoom Meetings which does not collect attendee email addresses for people outside of our organization. We will be switching to Zoom Webinars soon. I've had different experiences when I attend a webinar in the Zoom Webinar platform. Sometimes I'm asked to provide my name and email (I'm not asked to log into my own Zoom account) before I can enter the webinar and other times all I have to do is click on the provided link. Is there an administrative setting in Zoom Webinars that turns on the option to request/require people to enter their name and email? Thanks for your help.
Is it possible to set up an integration where webinar attendees can simply click a link to join a Zoom webinar via Teams? I see this article (https://support.zoom.com/hc/en/article?id=zm_kb&sysparm_article=KB0067825#installing-from-the-zoom-marketplace), but it seems to assume that it's an internal setup for someone with admin access to both relevant Zoom and Teams accounts. We can make admin changes to Zoom, but not to attendees' Teams accounts. Some potential attendees aren't permitted access to Zoom, so if there is some way to stream the Zoom webinar into Teams or otherwise integrate, that would be ideal. Seems like a stretch, but I was wondering if anyone else has addressed something like this.
I am hosting a webinar on zoom where my PowerPoint presentation is shared as background so that the presenter can be seen for a more interactive session. The spotlight remote will not forward the slides. The pointer and the spotlight/highlighter do work. Does anyone know how to fix this? The spotlight remote works fine outside of zoom.
I am unable to set up a Zoom Webinar even though my account owner has paid for it and given me a license. The account owner is unable to set up a webinar, too. Whenever we click on the Webinar tab in the sidebar, we just get looped back to Zoom's sales pitch for Webinars.

Hello,I want to schedule a ZOOM live webinar on facebook, but I dont find the option for advanced settings to Configure Custom Streaming Service. The scheduled webinar shows the option to livestream on facebook, youtube etc. which I could choose when I run the event live. But I want to schedule this event ahead of time. I saw a tutorial video, and noticed I dont have the advanced settings at all. Could you please share some tips? Dima
can we:set a co-host/alternate host that isn’t a part of our workplace, but is a licensed account?set a panelist that isn’t a part of our workplace but is a licensed account?set a panelist that isn’t a part of our workplace but is not a licensed account?
This weekend during an event when we went to split screen speaker. The 'end-use' viewers all got a large ppt presentation and a tiny speaker view. There was a little pop-up that gave instructions about customizing your own screen by dragging the adjustment bar in the beginning, yet the pop-up was only there for seconds? Many did not see it or even have time to read it.It ended up being a big problem because no one could see the speaker and didn't know that they could or even how to drag the adjustment bar. They were very upset and We didn't understand what was happening to them until finally, someone sent a photo of what they were seeing. Is there a way to set a timer for the 'pop-up instructions' to be on the screen for a longer time?Is there anything that we could have done in our settings that would have made their split screen truly split in half?Thank you so much!Drew
I'm using Zoom on an Enterprise account. Everyone in my team has Zoom webinar and they all create and run webinars. The account owner (who isn't me) set up my team as a group. I am the manager of the group and a group admin on it. Now I want to: 1. Be able to see the webinars (upcoming and past) created by everyone in the group. 2. Be able to run reports (registration, attendee, etc) on webinars created by everyone in the group.3. Give some people in the group the permissions described in 1 and 2. I've read https://support.zoom.com/hc/en/article?id=zm_kb&sysparm_article=KB0064983 Can I do 1, 2, and 3 by following those instructions or do I need to do something else?
We are trying to re-enable the Attendee Count feature to allow attendees to see how many users are viewing a webinar, after previously disabling it. However, it now defaults to the disabled setting, and we are unable to re-enable it.In a Zoom Webinar Practice Session, I have been following these steps:Click "Participants."At the top of the Participants panel, click the "Panelists" tab, then click "More."Under "Allow attendees," select "View Participant Count."Today, I tested it again in a "live" webinar, and it still defaulted back to the disabled setting. When I selected it, there was no change in the attendees' view. Upon exiting and rejoining the webinar, the setting was unselected again. Are we unable to enable the Attendee Count view after it has been previously disabled? How can I make it default to show the Attendee Count in all future webinars?
Trying to verify our domain in zoom. Running into this error message: Domain verification failed "Your domain verification failed because of a misconfigured CName record. You can try verifying again or use another verification method." I have worked with the instructions from zooms article: https://support.zoom.com/hc/en/article?id=zm_kb&sysparm_article=KB0057580 And followed the support of this zoom article: https://community.zoom.com/t5/Zoom-Events-and-Webinars/Branding-Domain-Verification-Parameters/m-p/185649#M11753 Still having no luck getting the the domain verified. Thank you to anyone that spends the time to assist on this issue.
HelloI'm a newbie with Zoom seminars and am trying to set one up. All good so far, except that when I invite myself using an alternative email address as a speaker to test things, the link to 'Join' the event takes me to the Backstage (with "Off Air"). That's good, but when I do that, I see the "Start Webinar" at the top. How can I stop other speakers from starting the event (when that is surely what the host does)?I am mindful that I've been using the same Zoom interface (as the host) but have signed out of it. Thanking in advance!TaNeil
When attendees register for our Zoom webinars, the country field in the registration form defaults to the United States when we are in Australia. This results in many registrants selecting the US as their country and not selecting a State, making us miss essential data and collecting incorrect data. How can we set a default country for Webinar Registrations? If this is not possible, can Zoom detect Country and auto-default to the correct country?
If I pre-record my Webinar and upload it to my schedules Webinar, are you able to do live polling still? If you are, do the participants see only their individual response or do they see everyone who answered the poll.
My admin switched me over to webinar host, but I don't see any upcoming webinars in my webinar dashboard. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
