Getting started with webinars, and I need help! We will be using our 3rd party scheduler for people to join our webinars, so registration will not be required. But we'd like to allow those who purchased access to the webinar the chance to rewatch the recording for about a week afterwards (preferably not longer). A couple questions: How do I set up limited access to a webinar recording when attendees did not have to register for the webinar? If I record a webinar to the cloud, will I also be able to download that recording into an MP3 format to use on other platforms, such as iMovie? Thanks for your help!
I had an event that I was streaming to a Webinar, unfortunately I toggled ON the "Enable HD video for attendees" and "Always send 1080p video to attendees" when I created the webinar and for the first time ever hell broke loose.Employees watching the webinar mostly from the office, the feed was stuttering like crazy, every few minutes Zoom App would display that "Mic isn't Working" and my audio would stop. I have to mute the mic and unmute it for it to resume.Unfortunately I didnt read the feature help when i toggled it ON but why would anyone create a feature that is not adaptive? meaning if the attendee cannot handle HD1080p then just dont send him 1080P, instead Zoom was enforcing the resolution and thus chocking everyones bandwidth.Anybody face such scenario with these features?
We will have a webinar tomorrow Oct.2., when we had the rehearsal we could not turn on the video for the panelists. Please help!
We have a webinar set up with multiple occurrences on three days one week and then three days the next week. Each day has multiple sessions, although not consecutive. It's set up with registration and attendees registering once can attend any of the occurrences. Upon registration, an email is sent with the Zoom webinar link info so that the person should just be able to click the link and get to the webinar. We have experienced the following issues and wonder if anyone else has also and might have a solution:Some people have been successful at logging in and getting into the first session of the first day of the webinar, but after that are unable to get in. It can be the next session on that same day or the next day. Or sometimes it worked the first day, not the second, but then worked again on a day during the second week. It seems haphazard as to why they can get in sometimes and not others. And then there are some people who have no problems and can get into all of the session
Can I turn on the chat function in a webinar after I start the webinar? I know I can enable the chat function from the settings, but if I've already started the webinar, can the chat function be enabled? Thanks!
Good morning. We have been using Zoom specifically since the pandemic hit. I am being audited and need to use proof of meetings/recordings/schedules to show our communication with parents. I am only seeing recordings since July 2021. How do I access previous lists of Zoom Webinars?
I have a couple questions. I try to add an alternative host and it says "user could not be found." What does this mean and how do I fix it so i can add someone. Also, how do you project the meeting out to Facebook live simultaneously with the meeting? Also how do you set it up so people can wave their hands for questions?
HelloI have a Webinar configured to live stream to a 3rd party website. I have designated an alternate host for my Webinar. I will not be available on the day of the Webinar. My questions are, the alternate host should be able to start the Webinar but:1. Would the alternate host be able to promote any attendee to a panelist?2. Would the alternate host be able to start the live stream? thanks
We've had some scenarios where it would be very helpful to allow a team member to have alternate host rights to manage Q&A and work screen sharing, but not appear on screen (no window would appear for them) as they are not actively participating as a speaker. Is there any way to make this happen or does anyone else think this would be helpful?
Hi I have a few problems with registration in webinars. We have a capped 100 attendee event that has pre registration. The event is full. Maybe only 60 of those who have registered attend the live event. So 10-15 minutes into the live webinar event multiple new attendees are joining that weren't on the registration report. Is this because not all of those who had registered prior to the event going live hadn't joined? Does zoom think that 100 logins haven't occurred? I had assumed that each registered person received a unique link that couldn't be shared. I'm wondering if links are being shared and when the individual with the shared link tries to access the webinar they are redirected to a registration page and are allowed to register as not all of the original 100 attendees have signed into the event. I'm concerned about what happens if all 100 original registrants do want to join and the link has been shared. Any help gratefully received.
I am looking for a way to blur portions of a shared screen during a webinar event. We will be looking at spreadsheets, etc with proprietary information that cannot be shared.
Hi,We're about to run our first Zoom Webinar and it appears that attendees can unmute themselves? Is this correct? If so, is there a way to disable that ability? Thanks, DI
Hi I am currently working with the Zoom API building an app that can manage meetings and webinars. The meetings portion is complete and works well. For Webinars I do not have a paid license but would like to test my app. A simple example would be invoking the create webinar endpoint. Is there a way to test the Webinar API endpoints without the purchase of a license? Thanks,
I was sharing my screen (PowerPoint and then a video) in fullscreen mode. The attendee view showed a black box where my controls were located, which blocked part of the shared content. I don't believe I had this problem before. Any ideas?
Hello,I recently ran my first Zoom Webinar(!) We decided to promot attendees to panelist in order for them to show their video / have a more intimate feelign since it was a small group.I downloaded the Webinar Attendee report and can see that all attendees who were promotoed to panelists in the "Attended Panelists" section - makes sense.I'm wondering what, if any implications, promoting attendees to panelists has on reporting in Marketo / Salesforce.Secondly, I can see there are some repeat people - for example one person joined 4 times, so it has them listed 4 times, with time in session being the full time of the webinar for one of them, and the rest of the "logins" having zero minutes in session; will this kind of duplicate data be synced over to Marketo / Salesforce?
I want to by Pro plan, and make webinar several hours length. If I will exceed 1 GB in online storage, do my recording interrupted, or it will be save to cloud storage, and I have time to download it after webinar finished?
Is streaming (to YouTube, Facebook and RTMP) possible from Zoom Events?
Hi! I want to add a video in my waitingroom for webinars so the participants can see a welcoming picture of us in our webinars, with just "hi, the webinar is just about to begin - you can find us here, here and here". I've found a tutorial on this, but in my view on Zoom it doesn't look like that. Do I have the wrong payment-plan, or is it the website that don't have Zoom 5.7.3 that is the problem? We have a paid account and mostly all the features in Zoom already. https://chrismenardtraining.com/post/zoom-add-video-waiting-room
Hi Fella Zoom users, I hope to get some insight. I'm about to host a 1500 to 2000 pax webinar style and possible will stretch for about 10 to 12 hours. I have a few concern.1. Has anyone has experience in this? Care to share some tips and even hacks2. Will the chat lagging like crazy?3. Will there be potential issues that I might need to take care?
We have weekly Zoom Council meetings, every Tuesday at 1:00 p.m.We always use the Co-host option for two additional participants. We are considering moving from "meetings" to "webinars".If we do so, the person chosen to be the "Host" will be responsible for all scheduling and inviting of staff and/or special guests for these weekly, Tuesday webinars. We would like to know, should the person who has been assigned as Host (and has scheduled multiple months of webinars out), for whatever reason, not be present for an upcoming webinar, is there a way to provide access to an Alternate or Co-Host to the Host's webinar schedule, should changes need to be made, i.e., time-date-subject? Meaning, the actual Host might be on vacation or out of the office, what-have-you, therefore one of the Alternative/Co-Hosts would need to be able to access the upcoming webinar's schedule if change were needed to be made ahead of a previously scheduled webinar. Is this possible?
Hello Zoom community! I have a Webinar feature request and I don't see any other place to submit it. I would like a feature that allows for the host and co-hosts to turn on notifications of new attendees for themselves only. I am sure we have all been in large meetings where the New Attendee Notification feature is on. Every time a new person logs onto the webinar everyone hears the chime. With a lot of people bouncing on and off a meeting that chime can get very annoying. I am an operator for webcasts that use Zoom Webinars as the presentation source. We use another application to cut and paste the images from Zoom and broadcast them in a more professional looking presentation. This way we can prep the presenters and solve any technical issues prior to going live to the public. Throughout a typical day I will do 6 or more broadcasts from the same Zoom room. The room is kept open all day and presenters join anywhere from 1/2 hour before to 1 minute befor
Bonjour Je voudrais uiliser l'interpretation dans Zoom. Est ce que je dois avoir une licence particuliere ?Merci pour vos réponses
From the description in this article, it implies a co-host can see Polling to launch a poll. https://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/articles/201362603-Host-and-co-host-controls-in-a-meeting We just did a test and promoted someone to co-host in the webinar, and they don't see the polling option. We even promoted them to host and they still don't see the polling option (the original webinar host does see the polling option). We can't pre-define the co-hosts as we are using the same webinar for several sessions, but would like co-hosts to be able to launch the polls. Is this possible? Thanks,Tammy
Hello, I have a webinar of up to 3,000 Attendees to host for just 1 day. Is there any possibility of signing up for a webinar add-on option for just that one day - that is, without paying the full month license cost? Kindly advice. Michael
Is there a way I can automatically have a recording sent to either all attendees of a webinar, or even to all people who enrolled?
