Alternative Host

I have a couple questions.   I try to add an alternative host and it says "user could not be found."  What does this mean and how do I fix it so i can add someone.

 

Also, how do you project the meeting out to Facebook live simultaneously with the meeting?

 

Also how do you set it up so people can wave their hands for questions?

    Hi @lvidauri 

     

    Alternative Hosts must be users within your same Zoom account. They must also be licensed.

    For live streaming to Facebook, check that this is enabled at https://zoom.us/profile/setting 

     

    Then after starting your meeting, click "More" and choose the service on which to live stream your meeting.

     

    I would suggest testing this in advance, to make sure you have the right permissions also in Facebook itself.

    The Raise Hand feature should be available by default.

    Hi, do you know how I add someone to my license?  

    ALso, where do I set up a cohost?  is that only after the meeting started? 

    THank you for you help!  I appreciate it so much!

    Hi @lvidauri 

     

    Co-Hosts can only be assigned once the Meeting has started. You can promote any Participant who joins to a Co-Host.

     

    Co-Hosts to not need to be on your account. They can be any Participant.

     

    For Alternative Hosts, and to add a user...

     

    You would add a user here https://zoom.us/account/user#/ and a license here https://zoom.us/billing

     

    Don't forget to assign the license to the user once created and once purchased.
