Hi There, I have created a Webinar with compulsory registration questions. I've had over 300 people register for the event but not all of them have completed the questions? It's all been set up correctly on my end so I'm not sure how this is happening? Thanks, Emma
Twice it has happened that persons have participated in my (test) webinars and I cannot see them in the participant's list. How is this possible, and what can I do to avoid it? Is it because they are joining from a browser? Also I have noticed that participants are asked for their name and email before being allowed into the webinar. I already have their emails from when they registered for the webinar, and I want it to be as easy as possible for them to join the webinar. Is there some way to shut that extra email registration off? I suspect this is Zoom collecting contact info and I am paying for it 😀 All the best!
I've set up a test webinar and successfully registered two test users. One with a Comcast email address and one with a Gmail address. Both were automatically approved. The link to add the webinar to my Google calendar worked. However, the registration report only shows the Comcast user as registered. The Gmail user is NOT listed at all. Why is this happening and how do I fix it?
I have a Panelist when logged into a Webinar, who can see the number # of Attendees joined but unable to view who is logged (no names are listed) and unable to chat to handle that portion of the meeting. She did log in as a Panelist (sent from Host) . Host made her panelist from the get go. Users were registered for meeting. Other Panelists can view the Attendee (names) list but this one Panelist in particular cannot. She's using Zoom Client with most updated version. Anyone come across this issue?
Hi We intend to schedule a (recurrent ?) webinar for which people should register. We invite persons worldwide but for different time zones reasons, we plan a first session on day 1 at time xx, a second session on day 2 at time yy and a third session on day 2 ( same day !) at time zz.How to schedule such a webinar so that registration is mandatory with a single registration link ? Thanks or helping me out . Eric
We are hosting a webinar and we need to use polling at different times throughout the webinar. Zoom is automatically numbering the questions but I'm hoping I can find a workaround to avoid this. Each of our polls only has one question and we are titling the questions "Question #1, #2, etc. so it looks bad with the title, and then the question within each poll shows: 1. blah blah blah? Is there a way to remove the 1. before each of our questions? In the editor, it's not showing, but when I save the questions it's there.
Hi all, hopefully an easy question.I basically want to disable dial ins on Zoom Meetings and Webinars. Only giving the option to join via Zoom to see the screen etc.If I switch the setting to Computer Audio does this mean that mobile/tablets will not be able to join? It isn't made clear in this article to me. I don't want to stop mobile/tablet users from getting onto a Zoom and make it computer only. I want all devices to join to hear AND see - I assume Computer Audio allows all devices? If so, shouldn't it be named Device Audio as we are truly in a mobile world?https://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/articles/360061128131-Enabling-audio-typeMany thanks!
We experienced a challenge mid-session during a webinar, where the Advanced Share advance video audio option was grayed out. We had used the feature earlier in the session, but when we wanted to use it again, the host and co-host did not have an option to share video audio. No settings were changed, and it started working again after some time, adding another co-host without changing settings. Has anyone else experienced this or thoughts? Thank you.
I have a question about the audio during a webinar: some members have noise and difficulty hearing during the webinar, even though the audio during the Zoom meeting is fine. When other members are speaking, there is no noise, so it is not a problem on the Zoom side. We have tried various things, including replacing the microphone, but have not been able to improve the problem. Is anyone else experiencing the same problem?
Failed to set survey link in follow-up email. Is it possible to send the Zoom survey URL again? Should I use a third party?
Hi All, I'm New to Zoom Webinars. I have worked out most things but having trouble with this particular query I am planning a Power Point Webinar for the Executive and I need some community expertise We are having three presenters and one panelist. All three presenters will be rotating and speaking to their slides in the presentation. I need all three to have Presentation with Notes that they see on their laptop and just the Presentation that’s beamed out to participants on their second monitor I have worked out that I can promote co hosts and give remote access so they can all change slides, but the Host is the only person who can see both presentation with Notes (on laptop) and presentation NO notes on secondary screen not the other two presenters? They can only see presentation without notes…..What am I doing wrong? I need the other two presenters to see both Presentation with notes on their laptops and presentation that's beamed out to participants on
1. How does one access a webinar if their company restricts access to Zoom? 2. I have someone who registered for a webinar but dialed in instead of attending via his laptop. He dialed in from a phone number different than what was entered at registration. The attendance report shows him as NOT attending. If he used the phone number he entered at registration, would Zoom Webinar match that to his registration info so he would appear as attending? Thank you for any help!
Hi, We would like to pre-record our webinar and play it to an audience at a set time so it looks like a live webinar. However, at the end of the webinar we want to go live and do a live Q&A? I have a couple of questions Will participants be able to post questions on chat during the pre-recorded part of the webinar? Will I be able to record the pre-corded webinar and the live Q&A as one video so that I can make it available on demand and it looks like one video?Thank you very much in advance for your help? Josephine
I have an extra wide monitor at 3840x1080. When I start the webinar, the recording is made with the full width of the screen. However, what I share to my audience is a single Chrome window at 1920x1080. How do I force Zoom Webinar to only record that screen or that portion of my monitor?
Good afternoon. I am working on a Zoom Webinar Registration that will be offered completely in Spanish for our Spanish Speaking citizens. I have found how to change the langue for confirmation emails once they register, but I am having some issues with the creation of the registration itself. I have added 2 pictures with the areas circled in red that I need help in figuring out how to turn them into Spanish. Since the fields: first name, last name, email address, confirm email address are automatically populated by Zoom. I translated these fields into Spanish, but, as you can see from picture, the automatic English fields are listed first. Also, the statement right before the blue "Register" button and the blue button itself are in English (see picture 2) and I need them in Spanish. Is there a way that I can change these areas to Spanish? Thanks in advance for your help! Is
Hi Zoom Hive Mind, I'm running my first ever multiple session Zoom Event at the end of September, and I'm really struggling with it. Could someone please answer the following questions for me to help me get started!? - I can't find how to start the practice session from the hub or event page - can I run multiple practice sessions or do I need a full run through of the event with everyone present - so can I pick and choose which sessions to practice?- when doing a panel session with a chair, do I have all speakers as speakers or do I just list the chair as a speaker and then add the others just as panelists? - how do you set up break out rooms prior to the event? Or does that have to be on the day?- How do you link 3rd party apps like Slido in to the event? Does anyone have any links to good tutorials (ideally videos as I'm a visual learner)? I feel a bit out of my depth!!
How do I "run a registration report" so as to see answers to my custom questions before my webinar takes place? I do not need help with Managing Zoom Event Registrations. I asked required questions like Title and Organization. How can I see these answers? TIA!
When I go to look for and purchase Webinar Add On I get this message:You are ineligible to receive this offer. Click here to return to your current plans. It sends me in a loop. I've had Webinar before, so I don't understand what I need to do now to signup again. My current month expired and I want to extend it for a webinar next week.
We had a webinar last week and set the view with a spotlight on the speaker. At the end, we changed it to gallery view to allow the 4 speakers to answer questions together. I just downloaded the video and shared it with the presenters who noticed that the last speaker was still spotlighted. She told me that there are often 2 versions of the video recording but I can only see 1. Why didn't the view change on the recording? It did change on the screen.
Does Zoom support Pre-event survey to collect the expectations from audiences?
It would be great to include the Webinar Session Branding options (wallpaper, virtual backgorunds, name tage design) in webinar templates. This would allow us to push the branding elements to all our event planners to apply to all webinars. Right now we must upload the elements for each webinar.
How to hide participant list
I'm hosting webinars with registration fees but would like to offer certain groups of attendees reduced registration fees. As I understand it, this option doesn't currently exist for Zoom Webinars. Can anybody suggest a viable work-around for someone that is only moderately computer savvy ? Also not sure I want to go the 'Events' route. TIA
We want to host a webinar where the audio from the host's computer will be the only audio used by Zoom. Other participants audio input to Zoom will be muted on their computer. All participants are in the same room and are using external mics which are connected to a mixer. The mixer output will feed the host's computer and be the source of the audio for the webinar. We want to do this to better control the quality of the audio. Since other participants Zoom mic input is muted, Zoom cannot use their audio to recognize them as the active computer. We still need the participants to be able to share their desktops full screen. How do we accomplish this? One idea I have is to have the host spotlight them when they need to share their desktop. Will this work? Is there another method which will work? Thanks.Jim Norman
We have never had any issues with our Chat files saving to the recordings. Today we went to retrieve our chat file and for some reason, it is not there. we have not changed any of our settings and have not had any issues with this in the past 2 years. Any one else having any issues?
