We have never received scam calls. As soon as we switched to Zoom, we started getting them. One of our employees called a number back and was scammed by (city) “police officers.” She lost 14k. These scammers were knew enough about that employee to get her to pay “bond” to have a judge freeze warrants. What she allegedly did could have happened (failure to show up in court as a witness after signing a subpoena).  Now we’re getting a lot more scam calls. Ugh. Thanks, Zoom (not). I’ll check our phone privacy settings I thought I turned the correct spam filter on.  

We recently have had a couple of our users receive spam calls.  Has anyone else been having this happen?  I searched the website on how to set a Zoom phone to filter our spam calls, but did not find anything.  Any advice here? Thanks!

I dont have a phone number but i have 2 numbers for my employees. My question is how to set up voice mail for the user phone number. for ex by default i got an extension 800 (  owner) and when i go to phone settings under my extension is that like a generic voice mail for all the phone numbers or is there a separate voice mail for each user? 

We have a Zoom meeting that most folks connect to via smartphone or computer. However, occasionally people need to dial in, bypassing the Internet. This means that the passcode has to be numeric. Upon testing, it seems that merely choosing the digits that correspond to the web meeting passcode does not work. There are two possiblities I see: either the web meeting passcode must be changed to numeric or else there is a separate numeric passcode. How can I set a numeric passcode for dialing in, bypassing the Internet?

Has anyone had any success in using a third party queueing platform (we are find Zooms call queues quite limited). We are tying to have our queueing system forward to a Zoom shared line group but it doesn't appear to have the capability to "send busy signal" when all members of the group are in a call.  All the members of the shared group have the "When I'm busy on another call" setting set to "send busy signal" but this doesn't make a difference.

I've setup our calling tree and various auto receptionists. I have tried using the built-in options for the * and # keys hoping that one repeats the menu and the other returns to our main menu. When I've tested it, there is always a recording that comes up as a pre-recorded default, "If you know the extension for the party you want to reach"... Am I missing something? I simply want the IVR to repeat or return to the main menu. I don't seem to have any options to bypass that one message or change it. I suppose I can have our IVR state, "press # twice to return to the main menu" but this seems strange.  Thank you for any guidance or ideas!

Is it possible to perform a directory lookup when dialing an extension on a VVX 450?  This would be similar to when you enter an extension and a lookup is done in call history, but obviously the person has to be in the call history.  It does not search users or directories.

Hello Everyone, I would like to send the Whiteboards I make through the Zoom phone app to my personal email, but the Zoom Phone app I just set up won't let me send them out.  How to I enable "collaboration with users outside of my organization?"    - Court110 

I have a few rooms where all I need is an internal "extension to extension" option... does this exist? What is the cost? When I try to add a physical phone to a basic user I'm told that I need a license... I dont need any advanced features and dont want any out of office calling... Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated! 

Hello, Currently, we have applications that can send SMS texts to cell phone numbers with common carriers such as Verizon, T-Mobile, etc.   How can I send an SMS text to a Zoom number?  I have an On-Call Zoom phone number that I use external contacts so the calls/messages are forwarded and must change the forwarding to a number each week depending on who is On-Call.  I would like to send an SMS text from the application to the Zoom phone so it is a one-time setup in the application.  Otherwise, I must change the application to send it to the on-call personal number every week.  Please let me know and thanks so much. Jim Lucas

We have a third party answering service. At 9 PM we forward calls to a phone number (a zoom line) that the answering service has configured. How should I configure this particular line? I had it set as an auto receptionist, but when we tested this it went to the IVR recording and then to voicemail. 

UPDATE:  I'm an idiot and was giving out the wrong number. Hello everyone, I'm a relatively new Zoom Phone user.  I'm three weeks in and, all of a sudden, I'm getting reports from clients (and more importantly prospects) that their inbound calls are going directly to an automated generic message.I don't see these calls on my call history nor do I receive the voicemails, which is business critical. The behaviour is exactly what is described for blocked calls. I've reviewed my Call Handling and Block List thoroughly and can't identify any issue there that might be creating the problem.  See attached screenshots. When I test the line from my personal phone, it connects normally.  When I call from my different cell, it goes straight to the generic message without showing on my call list and I do not receive the VM. I've submitted two ti

Where do we find the phone numbers that people can use to dial in to Zoom meetings? Zoom used to provide those in the meeting link, but they don't any more.

We recently ported a line from ATT to Zoom Phone. We are using the same iPhone that was used when the line was connected to ATT. On iPhone under settings -> cellular, I turn off the line under the ATT settings, I get an SOS symbol where it had originally said ATT. Does this mean that Zoom Phone is only going to work on a mobile device when connected to wifi? 

Hey everyone,  I'm in the middle of a Zoom Phone POC and trying to find a way to give managers in the company access to view the User Performance Reports for members of their team. I've given my test user the phone power pack and now they can see the report but its restricted to only theirself. I as admin can filter by user or dept. Surely there must be a permission in roles or somewhere that allows the user to see others reports. This is how it looks for me This is how it looks for my "manager" role Anyone else run into this? Hi I really hope someone can help me. I just purchased the Zoom phone system for unlimited calls to US & Canada 15$/monthAnd received a confirmation from Zoom for my purchase. But when I try to assign my license to my account and set up the phone system, it appears that I have a basic Zoom plan! How do I activate my phone system?

Our phone ATA Adaptors are turning off all the time and we cannot use the phone lines.

I have 19 phone system users but only 5 Zoom Hosts. As such I can't set up branding or a campaign (minimum 10 host requirement for branding). How do we continue to use SMS with our phone system?

We're a small organization dealing with parents and prospective parents. If we're sending a simple SMS, are we required to put the STOP line in every text? We probably send three texts a week on an individual basis.

I have a user setup as an operator, this user has the powerpack and all is working except the option to send to voicemail. when a call comes in and the operator chooses the transfer option from the app it only shows 2 options, Blind transfer and warm transfer...no send to voicemail. When I login with our admin account on the app that option is available. How do I make it so a normal user has the option to send to voicemail???

Hi! We have multiple call queues set up with a department voicemail set under the Overflow setting, however when transferring directly to that department's voicemail we get the default system message. I presume there is a setting that we are not seeing?

I have a problem where the phone call I'm on loses audio when another application has an audio notification. For instance, if I'm on a zoom Phone call, and a Slack message or an email comes in, and Slack or Outlook has a chime, then I lose the audio from my Zoom call.  This just started happening yesterday - it hasn't been a problem for the last two years that we've been using Zoom phone.  I'm on zoom desk top, version 5.13.11 (13434)

We are B2B and have no plans to perform SMS campaigns to consumers. I would like there to be 1 number that clients can send text messages to and that all users can review/see the text messages directed to that one number.  I have SMS enabled for the Call Queue and all users are set up as members.  Please let me know the tricks of the trade.
