When someone calls my voicemail, it is playing the message twice before allowing them to leave a message. It's causing most people to hang up, assuming it's just a loop message and they can't actually leave a message. It's been frustrating for our main line operators, as they are then getting all my calls from frustrated callers. Help?

Our company switched carriers from a larger phone provider to Zoom Phone about 1 year ago.  Spam call detection and blocking was a future feature that played into the decision to switch, but it's still not available. Around that time I saw this as a proposed Zoom enhancement:  Spam call detection and blocking: Your Zoom Phone system can be configured to significantly filter out unwanted calls by routing spam calls to voicemail or block them automatically. (Beta planned in November 2020 and general availability in early 2021.) https://blog.zoom.us/a-roundup-of-the-latest-zoom-phone-updates-planned-enhancements/ Being about 1 year out from this and considering most large carriers offer some sort of filtering technology, does anyone from inside Zoom or external users know what's the reason this feature has not been released? For a company like my own, the number of calls is so excessive that there have been requests to switch back carriers that also have VOIP serv

Hi all - I'm a little stumped, and I am not an IT person, but I know how to follow instructions and use a mouse.  So I thought I would try posting here. I've just hired my first employee into my professional services (consulting) firm.  He is remote from my main location.  For 4 months now, calls have been coming to me since I was the only employee.  I have bought a second Zoom phone license for him so he can make his own calls out for assignments.  What I would like to do is avoid having to be the phone receptionist.  Is there a way for an autoattendant to receive calls and allow an extension to be dialed? My workaround is either I will be the receptionist and transfer calls over, or the new hire gets that job.  I'd rather a robot do that for me.  I just couldn't figure out how to do it. Thanks -Joe

I started following this article:https://support.zoom.com/hc/en/article?id=zm_kb&sysparm_article=KB0062984#h_01F7BQVDSWQ2FYS1JEMKD4150D I've searched for several days and have seen just about every resolution but none has worked yet..  I have a vp59, I upgraded the firmware to 91.30.0.25.  After rebooting, I get a screen that shows the Zoom logo and "Please install License.  IP: 192.168.100.109" but that IP does not load in my browser.  I'm on the same network, same IP subnet.  I can ping the IP but the page is not loading.  I ran a port scan and find only ports 80, 5060 and 5061 responding.  Port 80 returns the 404 error shown below.  Any idea how to get to the web interface? If I try https://192.168.100.109 I get: This site can’t be reached 192.168.100.109 refused to connect. Try: Checking the connection Checking the proxy and the firewall ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED  If I try http://192.168.100.109 I

I was following the instructions to convert my Yealink VP59 to a Zoom appliance and got to a point where the phone rebooted and is now locked up.  The phone boots up, tells me the firmware that I was told to install is already on the phone, and then presents me with a screen that says "Please import the license" and I cannot do anything with the phone now.  Does anyone know how to import the license that can help me?

Hello using an IPhone SE, how do you block incoming phone calls from interrupting a meeting?

We can change the ring tone for an extension.  Our main number rings to a user's extension, by design.  How can one change the ring tone on the main number so that when it rings to the designated user's extension, it has a distinctive ring tone?

When making an outbound call, the caller ID shows as a past employee. The Outbound Caller ID in the Zoom account shows as the correct person. The old employee does not have an account in our system although it was their old name that was reassigned.

When I try adding a Polycom VVX 250 to the device list, the model number isn't l listed under Poly in the dropdown menus.

Help needed...We have just started using Zoom phone and have it integrated with Hubspot for video meetings however, when someone calls us the contact information isn't displayed. Is there a way to integrate the 2 so you know who's calling?Surely I don't have to manually download my contacts as csv files and upload it do I?I have thought about Zapier too. Has anyone done this?Cheers,Clayton

Hi, My Zoom Phone shows a wrong strange number for some incoming calls from contacts which are even saved in contacts with the correct number). It's a German "network-independent" number (+4932 (...)). Thanks for your help!

I am having issues and it seems impossible to find a resolution.  Something that is required by a company that you pay for a service from should not be so difficult to do.   I have created, deleted, created again, deleted, checked to make sure my companies information was correct as it is with State and Federal offices, created, deleted again and then created again.  This is getting ridiculous.  I have so many different error codes and cant seem to get any assistance.  Hopefully someone here may know something.   Here is what I get now.  {"description":"Brand cannot be created/updated due to unique constraint","code":503,"fields":["referenceId"]}

i have an issue with the mobile Android zoom app, and hoping someone might have an idea how to fix.  My work recently switched us all to zoom phone numbers.  I have Zoom installed on my phone, logged in with my work account, as sometimes I take calls on the road.  I have all notifications for zoom turned off on my phone, however whenever I get a zoom call on my work number, my phone still buzzes. It was happening all during my holiday PTO, and driving me nuts trying to figure it out, and I finally realized what was happening today when I was on a zoom mtg and got a notification of a call just as my phone started buzzing.  Any idea how to REALLY turn notifications off from zoom on my phone??

We have a user that uses both the desktop app and a desk phone. Whenever he try's to answer an incoming call on his desktop app, it moves the call under his Lines tab but doesn't pickup the call. On the other end of the call it will continue to ring until you get their voicemail message. everything works as it should on the desk phone, and even after disabling the desk phone in the Call Handling menu the same issue persists.

I would like to know how I can setup a separate line appearance on phones that could ring if this number is called, even if the phone has business hours setup.  The scenario is as follows:  We have times when employees might need to get ahold of someone that is still in office outside of normal office hours.  The phones are setup for business hours of 8am-5pm, and if you call the number of that phone after hours, it does not ring and goes to VM.  We would like to have a priority line that would ring on certain phones no matter the time of day and if business hours are setup on that line.  Is this possible and if so, how could I do this? If not, is there a work around solution that could be used as an emergency line that would ring on several phones so it could be heard after hours?

I've set up my new business phone number and voicemail. I called the number using another phone and heard the greeting and left a voicemail. Went to check it on both the phone app and the desktop app, but no phone call was listed nor was there any voicemail recorded. I repeated this from another phone and got the same results. It's just me so there are no other places that they could go. I've been assigned an extension so I thought I should try forwarding to user (me), but as it's just me it wouldn't let me. I'm not sure where else to problem-solve.

Hello, A couple of our users a experiencing issues when messaging clients in group chats. I got first reports of this on 12/13/23 Scenario:- Employee 1 creates a chat with employee 2 and 1 client.- Employee 1 can see responses from the client in the group chat.- Employee 2 responds, employee 1 gets the response as if #2 were sending a txt directly to them. This happens with all group chats they are in. Replicating the scenario:- I create a group chat with employee 1, 2, and my personal cell.- I send the initial txt I send out from my personal, employee 1 gets the group txt like they should- I have employee 1 respond to the group. It comes through normally.- Employee 2 responds and it comes through as a separate txt on my personal, same for employee 1.  One thing I noticed recently is that there are only 3 users assigned to the SMS Campaign I had created 6+ months ago. There were at least 180 previously. But one of the 3 numbers that were still on the campaign w

Does anyone have a timeline of when SMS Short Codes will be supported. We ported our numbers in and all two factor authentication texts aren't being delivered. This is an integral part of authentication on the web and if you advertise SMS on your platform, you should be able to do Short Codes.

Hello I have a Yealink T41P which is listed as certified hardware, however there is a caveat in the Yealink notes section which states that ZTP is allowed only once on this model post it's EOL date in June 2020. The assisted provising guide appears to indicate a way to provision the phone should ZTP not work. Based on this can I assume that the Yealink T41P should work bar any other unrelated issues? If this is the case, is there a way to test the phone to ensure it works and can be provisioned prior to signing up?  Thanks

Hello Everyone,I am just looking for some simple guidance, I am integrating Zoom with ServiceNow and Have done many Zoom-Snow integrations before, but this one has me a bit perplexed.I can’t update certain fields, I have tried near everything in these 2 API docs[Phone operation categories (zoom.us)]Zoom Phone APII just need to know how to update the SITE, NUMBER(S) and PACKAGE. Does anyone know what is the proper API to hit those fields under PHONE SYSTEM MANAGEMENT ==> Users & RoomsThank you very much for your time,I hope you have had a great time these holidays and thank you for your support.Best regards,DS

I'm trying to get our company set up with the Zoom PWA on Chromebooks to use with Zoom Phone. The Zoom Phone icon is showing up correctly on the PWA, and I can receive inbound calls no problem.  The issue is when I try to make outbound phone calls - the call drops immediately. This is true for both outbound calls to a 10 digit phone number and internal extension to extension calls. From the PWA front end, it says "Call Ended". On the admin console when looking my account's call history, it says the "Result" is "Call failed". One last observation is that the receiving number gets a very brief incoming call notification before it disappears (when the call drops). When I make outbound calls on the same Zoom account using a mobile app or PC desktop client, it does not have any issues.  Anyone else seeing this issue?

Should my desktop and mobile app not both ring simultaneously?  If I walk away from my desk, I would like to still receive phone calls on my mobile app.  I heard my computer ringing in the distance, opened the mobile app, and couldn't see any incoming phone call.  This has been happening frequently.  Sometimes it rings, and sometimes it doesn't (on mobile).   I have set my timezone on the web portal.

We have a few Deaf employees using Sorenson VRS computer-based apps to communicate with hearing customers. Sign Language interpreters are provided by Sorenson VRS to our Deaf employees in order for them to provide support to these hearing customers. Each employee are assigned a phone number by Sorenson. We want to add them to our call queues so they can provide support. How do we add these external numbers to some of our call queues?

All of a sudden today I am not able to make outgoing calls or receive in coming calls.  Any ideas?

I recently ported a number from Google Voice.   I can make and receive calls from the mobile app -- but not the Windows Desktop client.   It gives me a 'click to call' button - but, when I click it, nothing happens.  I can see 'contacts' -- but, when I click the button that is labeled 'call' -- nothing happens.   This is on the desktop client side of things.  On the 'web-app', it doesn't even show that I have paid phone service through zoom.
