Let me start out saying that we are a new customer of Zoom from Cisco. The Zoom appliance rocks but we have some crazy issues with lag and settings that we never had with Cisco WebEx Calling. We have been told to update Polycom firmware,  we were told to open all ports on the firewall inbound and outbound, we were told that fixes are coming for the issues that tickets were filed for. We have had no luck on this. The lag does not happen with just Polycom firmware. When you add the ZDM with Zoom 5.9.4 onto the Polycom CCX 600 or 700 it will eventually delay to the point where it lags or not usable. Does anyone else have these issues? So far it does not matter what firmware you run or Zoom app version you are running. Hopefully there are some Zoom engineers here that see this.

how notify user when video call start ?how  to start mobile ringtone  when Incoming  zoom  video call ? use android studio with kotlin

Is it possible to have a subset of members on a Shared Line that can receive SMS but automatically ignore/decline/DND phone rings to that specific Shared Line? Essentially we want all members of the group to receive SMS texts but only some who will have a standard "phone ringing" experience. One alternative I can think of is to have a separate Shared Line for SMS and a separate one for receiving phone calls but this is less desirable.

Maybe a dumb question, but does the Zoom certified desk phone connect to the PC only, or does it also require a ethernet plug in?  I can't get an IP address from my phone, so it won't provision. When I connected it right to the router (in my basement) it connected fine.  Thanks for advice!

Hello, We are having a really annoying issue with Zoom Phone. When we are in a Zoom Meeting, if we have an incoming Zoom Phone call it take the precedence over the already active Zoom Meeting. It actually automatically answer the phone call instead of just ringing, cut the audio on Meeting and connect us to the incoming Zoom Phone call. We have to stop the phone call then manually re-enable the audio on the meeting side. This is really painful for us. Is it a known bug?

Is there a way to get those numbers into the desk phone? I have tried external contacts but it seems that it is not supported on the phone. by the way, our phone is Poly VVX400. Thanks in advance.

Hi All Does anybody know if it is possible to disable voicemail for a call queue within Zoom? So the call just disconnects after playing an automated message Thanks

Hi All Is there a way when opening the zoom APP to have only phone options and disable the meeting options? My organization exclusively wants to use zoom as a VOIP system and not for any meetings. So want to remove the below from the app... Any ideas great appreciated

Hello all, We have two small businesses running from home and are moving those lines to Zoom Phone.  We purchased an extra phone number license for routing personal calls coming to the house, via an auto receptionist.   Is that going to be a problem?  Zoom says Phone is for "business use only" so I don't want to run into some kind of issue down the road. Many thanks.

Soon we will switch over to the Zoom phone and I am testing this now for our company. But it seems like I have run into a problem. We will use both the (iOs) app and the windows client but it seems like there is no way to set "Do not disturb" for only the (iOs) app.  Is there a way to disable receiving calls/meetings on our mobile devices whilst still receiving them on the windows client?Because now I receive a lot of notifications on my phone while I am not working.

Hello I need help. My IT is not around today and I need to update our business hours, so my phone operators can continue to answer phones. Where do I find this? thx

Hi there,  I realize a common area phone itself cannot have voicemail.  I'd like the main receptionist to route to the CAP when '1' is pressed.  However, if there's no answer, is there any work-around to route the caller directly to the receptionist's voicemail, rather than make them route back to the receptionist extension and (hence) through the IVR menu again?   Much appreciated.

I have 2 users that I gave access to my account's voicemail. I want one of the users to receive email notifications of the voicemail transcription. However, I don't want the second user to get emails when I receive a voicemail. The only solution that I have found only allows me to turn on or off email notifications for both (in the Company Info account settings notifications section). Is there a way to give both users access to my voicemail, but only allow one to receive email notifications? Thanks!

Hello, I currently use Grasshopper.com for my desk phone and would like to port it over to Zoom.   1) Should I purchase the Zoom phone service first before doing the port, or do I need to call Zoom and indicate that I'd like to port the number before I place my order?  2) Has anyone done this before?  Any tips for avoiding downtime with this process?  Thank you!Chris

Seeing hashed owner extension numbers in CallLog. Which type of calls result in hashed or blank owner extension number values? Planned on using the field as a key lookup against client HR file for assignments, but not seeing consistent extension numbers in this field.

Hello, I've got a US startup with a branch office in France.  I've got a US local number, a US toll-free number, and a French number.  I want it so that when someone calls a US number, the greeting is in English, saying to push 1, 2 or 3 for English, French or Spanish, but when they call the French number, the greeting is in French, again letting them choose a language.  After a language is selected, the caller will choose between sales, support or billing.  I'll want 9 call queues, for the 3 departments in the 3 languages.  I'll need my employees to be able to be in multiple call queues, like if a sales person speaks English and French.  Supposing a caller picked Sales in French, I'd want them to go into the same call queue whether they called a US or French number. Does this setup require 2 sites?  It looks like call queues are tied to a site, and that would sound like I'd need 18 call queues, which I don't want.  Any advice would be

is it possible that i can change my area code in zoom phone

I've struggled a bit with the concept of a licensed user. We are a small business and only use zoom phone, we don't use meetings. We have incoming / outgoing phone numbers, call queues, Auto receptionist and voicemail. QUESTIONWhat would happen if I downgraded a user (a receptionist) from a licensed phone to 'basic'? Thanks Richard

Is there any way of avoinding the browser confirmation message when I clik on a zoomphoncall link?Is there any way to make the call without having to click OK on the confirmation dialog?

Доброго дня, я скачую різні версії зум, але мікрофон всеодно не працює без навушників. Як можна виправити цю проблему?

Here is what I am trying to accomplish. Sync Zoom subscribers to the Corporate directory on the VVX 250’s and the VVX450 with the VVX EM350.I would like for the receptionist with the VVX EM350 to be able to click one of the 30 buttons to ring a phone in a classroom. Right now I have 50 Zoom subscribers with extensions and I would like them to show up on the Polycom VVX EM350.

Hello,Some of my users on android devices when on a phone call whether it's a zoom phone call or normal mobile phone call, when they receive another call from zoom phone, their call gets blasted with the ring tone. On my phone, whenever someone calls me when I'm on a call, it just beeps to notify me that someone else is calling me. Any ideas of what could be going on? I can't find anything in the zoom administration portal or user settings.
