I have a customer who sends me zoom recordings that have multiple participants with screen sharing. Normally the file is 1920x1080 as required. However today's file was 2256x1504 with the screen share with black bars round it and the inset speaker half in and half out of the screen share. Can anyone tell me how this is possible? What decides the record resolution of local recording? A search shows some laptops have screen resolution of 2256x1504. So is it one of the participants with the highest screen resolution sets the resolution for recording or is the record resolution set by the computer screen it's locally recorded on? In that situation how do you force a standard 1920x1080 recording?

Previous Participant User Name Visible to Next Participant - Zoom HIPAA Violation. Is there a way I, the host, can stop this? A setting I can change? Or, will Zoom act responsibly and correct this system error. When I am moving from one private patient Zoom meeting to the next, my patients and I can see the name of the last patient at the top of the screen. This is a HIPAA violation which Zoom must immediately rectify.

I am using a MacBook running macOS 14.4 and using it with a large external monitor. I have a webcam installed on my monitor. For the past month, my screen has been turning itself off during Zoom meetings (going into video hiding mode). Additionally, for the last few days, the webcam camera has been blinking, so I cannot use it.  I found two notable observations: 1) This issue does not occur when using other video conferencing programs.2) This problem does not occur when using Zoom with the MacBook's built-in camera.  I should I solve this problem?  

Hi, I am using a Zoom-Account (payed) as a leader of a group of patients of a neuronal Desease (Restless Legs Syndrome). I'll give up this engagement at the end of 2024 and my successor will continue my work. Because of a reorganization of these groups, she needs a new Mail Address. My questions:* I can change the mail address and the (persons) name of my Zoom account, right?* Will all repeating meetings keep their Zoom-Link, if I do that? The most sigificant problem: I have another Basic Account, subscribed by my customer. When I change the picture in one of the two accounts, it changes in both. How can that be? These accounts are not linked among each other, they use different mail-addresses. Only the Name of the person is the same. How can I destroy this "invisible link"? Thanks for helping me Ralf

When on Zoom the other people cannot hear me if they are talking. It is as if my audio feed is subordinate to everyone else's.  Multiple people can talk at the same time and be heard, but not me. I can only be heard if I am the only person talking but as soon as someone else starts talking my audio stops. I can hear them but they can't hear me. Also, my Zoom frame/box almost never lights up.I have the latest version of Zoom on a 2019 iMac using the internal mic. How can I stop this, so I can talk over people in the same way they can?

Dear Zoom Community. I have a pro subscription with Zoom. I recently created a meeting that has registration enabled. In the past, I have been able to customize meeting registration questions, however, this option is no longer appearing in my registration tab. Has there been any recent restriction placed on account types that could have caused this issue?

Hi, We currently have Zoom integration set up on our Acuity Scheduling. When people book a call via our appointment link on Acuity Scheduling, it creates a meeting on Zoom (thanks to the integration). However, upon further check, only the meeting gets created and the details of the registrant does not get passed to Zoom. We called Acuity Scheduling to know their take on the matter and they said that they are unable to pass the registrant details to Zoom. Thus, we are working on creating Zapier zaps. One zap will save the meeting id created on zoom. Then, another zap will use that meeting id to search through the meeting list and add the registrant to the meeting. However, we ended up encountering a roadblock in that it says that the meeting's registration is not enabled. We've already enabled the registration to the existing meetings. So here are our questions:1. Do we have to manually enable the registration every

Probably not got the correct Board as system issue not there. So when I login into my account on a windows PC (not the app) I am bounced off the home page with the error trouble fetching user data. All other pages are working fine. What do I need to do? I have restarted PC, logged off and on.

I have all my settings for starting audio / video when joining a meeting to off.  This works fine when first joining meetings from desktop or mobile. However, if I join a meeting via desktop and then use the "switch to" feature on mobile while the meeting is still active, the video on my mobile device auto starts. OS is UbuntuMobile is AndroidAll updated to latest version

For context - I am using a Zoom Meetings license for this, not Webinars.  I am hosting a series of webinars (6 over the course of a 7 month period). They are not regularly occurring meetings (different days of the week, timing, etc.). I would like participants to have the option to register for the SERIES all at once (effectively registering them for each of the 6 webinars), instead of them having to register for each one individually. Is there a way to set this up in the Zoom registration? 

I've been using Zoom for meetings for a few years and never had this problem. On sunday last, I recorded a meeting to the cloud as usual. Later I copied the link to the recording to send it as an attachment in an email to the participants. I followed the same procedure that I used for years to send the email with the link. That email was not delivered and I got a prompt that it was "undeliverable" I sent another email to the same group of participants WITHOUT THE ATTACHMENT OF THE LINK TO THE RECORDING and it was delivered. It seems logical to assume that somehow the link is corrupted with a virus or something else since without the link, the email is delivered without a problem. I filled out two "tickets" to get help from Zoom but I have not received a reply. What do I do now. I don't want to continue to pay for a service that I cannot use.  

I have added a Google Calendar event with a Zoom link.  People are having trouble with the Google RSVP.  Is there an RSVP link that can be used from Zoom?

A user registered for a meeting 20 minutes before the start time. She got to the "registration confirmation page" that had the message, "You will be automatically redirected to the live session when it starts. Please do not close this browser." The blue "Join" button was also displayed. She sat on this page and was never redirected to the meeting. Is there some bug in the system at the moment? I was able to replicate the problem myself today. Once I clicked on the "Join" button, I was admitted. But that was ignoring the message telling me I'd be redirected automatically. What's going on? How can we ensure all our registrants get into our meetings?

I am trying to locate a zoom recording that was recorded locally.I set the meeting to record automatically in my absence to local computer.I am not able to find the recording. Any suggestions of where it might be?

does an alternative host for a meeting have to use their unique link emailed to them to join the meeting if it has already started? or can they use the main join link that regular participants will use? 

Hello, We are using the Zoom integration for Greenhouse, and I'm experiencing issues where invitees are unable to join the Zoom due to invalid passcode. Users have the provided passcode and I even enabled embedded passcode with no success. What can I do to resolve?

After 30 minutes of struggle, practice, cancel to check recording, and restart, I had to cancel the first meeting of my course. Speaker and Gallery buttons seem backwards, after lots of effort. And the slides appeared on the screen but not the recording. What's up, Zoom folks?

We use Zoom for telehealth appointments. We have our electronic medical records and patient information in Salesforce. We would like to be able to integrate the zoom meeting start/end times and participant info for each telehealth appointment into the Salesforce appointment record. Is that possible?  Thanks for any help! 

Hello, my all-time problem without a solution (yet)- If I have a 1-to-1 meeting, and I'd like to record only the window of the host, how to do it? The meeting is in gallery mode, and even if I set cloud recording / speaker mode, the video jumps to the other participant if he/she asks something. Do I have such an option that I'd like to record the host and no one else, even if anyone else is asking something?- And the same with more participants: even if the host is spotlighted, the video will show also the others when they make a noise.Summarized: The actions/speeches of the host should be recorded, full screen, without jumping to other participants, and also independently from the actual meeting's gallery or speaker mode. Thank you very much if you have a viable suggestion! (Currently all I can do is record in gallery view and later cropping the host window, but even with 1 guest it is half of full size, with more guests it

When I share my screen, everyone see's black squares spread across. I converted the PPT to PDF and used other platforms to try to share so it seems like an update issue. I turned off Use hardware acceleration to optimize video sharing. Anything else I should try?

I understand that a huge portion of the world is on PAL (25/50 fps) and that's fine....but there are millions if not billions of Zoom users that also want NTSC options, at least 30 (and/or 29.976) fps, particularly those of us called upon to edit recordings after the fact. Can it be made an option? It's a bit stunning that it isn't already.

Hello Everyone, This is Dinesh here.Yesterday I was conducting a zoom meeting and I was having the 500 participants zoom plan. During the meeting, after 230 participants joined, the zoom was not allowing any participant to join. It was showing the message like "the maximum attendee limit is reached". I was not sure why this happened because the limit is 500. It would be great if some one could help me. Also can someone provide the zoom support email id. Thanks

HelloI want to be able to manually select who is going into each room, but once I send people to those rooms, I want them to automatically be sent there, instead of being presented with a "Join Breakout Room" button. I thought the "Automatically move all assigned participants into breakout rooms" would do this, but we ran a test session and it didn't work. Is this not the right setting, or did that setting just not get applied for some reason? Do we need to restart the machine and try again? Thanks
