Hello! Last week, I was very busy with back-to-school and Zoom gave me SO many issues that are still not resolved and I cannot get any help from Zoom Customer Support. I can't reach anyone. I am logged in but it says it cannot connect me because I'm not logged in. First issue, I needed someone to take over one of my meetings so that I could do another one, I have Zoom Workplace PRO. So I added them to my account, paid for their license, and added them as an alternative host, all on my account. That user started the meeting under their account. Then an hour later I went to start another meeting on my account but instead of starting the new scheduled meeting that I needed to start, Zoom kept launching the meeting my partner was currently hosting using his license. Desperate for a solution, I had someone else sign up for Zoom using their email and my business debit card so I could quickly send out a link on that account to start the new meeting - s

Hi everybody I am using the updated Zoom app with its new look in the interface, very nice, but...Before the update, when I was hosting a meeting, there was always an icon in the top left hand corner of my video screen, which said "meeting info" or "meeting details" or something like that. Clicking on it would show the name of the meeting and also allow me to invite people to join. But after the latest update of the app (I am using Windows 11) this icon seems to have disappeared, and I simply have the words "Zoom workplace" instead. Does anyone know how to get this top left hand corner info icon back? How do I add/secure a person as an alternate host in Pro Plan - - if it can be done?What are the specific steps to do so.Do I have to redo this for every Zoom meeting I run, even if the same person is tha laternate host?Is there a fee for such [and is it a one-time fee or must it be paid every time I run a Zoom meeting]? 

I am getting a message that I have to update my Zoom version. I use a Windows laptop. Please advise how to update it.Thanks.

I'm attempting to retrieve several old recordings that one of my students forgot to download. The recordings were done in late May and June. Of course they aren't in my account any longer, but are they still archived by Zoom somewhere? If so, how do I make contact to get them? Thanks.

Hey, does anybody know how to customize/remove the icons for the controls at the bottom of the screen? Not all of them. I'd just like to remove the ones I don't use, so that I can make my screen smaller & still see the controls that I actually use.

Hi, i joined a meeting via a link that was sent to me by the host. When the meeting started i pressed the "record" button and the program asked the host to give his permission. The host gave it but when the meeting endedand the program closed, i didn't find the video in the selected folder. I didn't press the "Stop recording" button when the meeting ended. Is there a way to find the video or it was never recorded?

Quando eu colocava pra gravar, quando eu abria o vídeo da gravação, no canto da tela aparecia o horário, se era 13h00, aparecia 13h00 e ia mudando tipo um relógio. Mas agora eu fui ver uma gravação da semana passada, e esse “reloginho” não aparece mais na gravação. Queria saber se teria como a gente voltar essa configuração pro relógio aparecer no vídeo gravado.

Recently (since 2023ish) I noticed I had not had the ability to copy and paste chat text from a webinar. As a Host or Co-Host, I could do this previously, but now it no longer allows me to copy from a webinar chat- even as a Host or Co-Host. I have checked my setting based on recommendations in prior posts with this issue and all my settings should allow me to copy from webinar chats. I was never nor currently the webinar creator, just a host. Is this a glitch or has Zoom changed something?

When I'm trying to use the Google Workspace Add-on "Zoom for Google Workspace™" I have some issues.  When I use the add-on to add a zoom meeting to a calendar invitation, it appears to create as usual and I am able to save it. However, when I attempt to start that meeting, it first loads the webpage (https://us06web.zoom.us/s/meetingID#success) but then I get a pop-up box telling me the meeting ID is invalid. This doesn't happen every time, and it seems to be more likely when meetings were created far in advance and when multiple people are invited to the calendar hold.  I don't have this issue when I create the meeting directly on the website. Additional Info: I'm not sure if this is part of the solution, as this has happened since I installed the add-on. When I create meetings using the addon, the date is:Time: Dec 31, 1979 05:00 PM

The 'blur my background' option' seems to have totally disappeared with the latest software update. Where is it, or has it been discontinued?

Hi! I have Zoom integrated with Eventbrite. When I edit a Zoom meeting (deleting password requirement, etc), notifications are sent to all registrants that something has been changed. Most frustrating is that Zoom also sends the notification to folks who had since cancelled their Eventbrite event, and provides them with the Zoom link again. Is there a way for me to update a meeting setting without everyone receiving the notification?  

how do I do livestream in my fb group instead of personal page - in live app I can't configure set up at all - no option. help please 

I use Zoom to teach online music lessons using an RME UFX+. It's a USB 3.0 audio interface with a LoopBack feature. Zoom needs an update to allow a higher audio channel count. In order to get Zoom to work right now (with the UFX+) I have to restart my M2 Max MacBook with the UFX+ still running so that the UFX+ accidentally goes into USB 2.0 mode which only allows for 30 in/30 out. In USB 3.0 mode, the UFX+ has 96 in/96 out. This higher audio channel count in USB 3.0 mode crashes the current iteration of Zoom. Zoom didn't used to crash for this reason, but it does now. It has me looking into other video conferencing apps until Zoom fixes it. I have to imagine there are many of us out there experiencing this difficulty with the current iteration of Zoom. 

2 months ago, i organized several meeting with quizzes. unfortunately when i checked my last meetings i didn't find the quizzes.  need your help to assit me to recover my quizzes. thanks in advance !

Hello,I am interested in having 2 individuals at different locations, removing backgrounds and combining them into a single window, adding a background to make it look like both are in the same location. Why do you say?  I am a technical instructor and some of our equipment is in a different location then where I am.  With a person using zoom is at the location and I am at a different location, the combining action would allow me to stand or sit at the equipment and make the training more like a live training session. I suspect most users of zoom do not spend days teaching highly technical information, but we do and using head shots and dry meeting material will put anyone asleep. I do not believe zoom has this capability at this time, but maybe this idea will get to someone in zoom and think about how to make it happen.

Hi Can anyone help me, I recently cancelled two re-occurring client calls via outlook, which were successfully cancelled and removed from calendars within my organisation, however these two meetings are still showing in my clients calendar as being active and causing confusion. these were cancelled over a week ago so I have no way of even seeing them to cancel them again - The client has sent me the zoom links so I have them, but no way to cancel them. Can anyone advise if this is even possible or if I will just have to ask the client to delete the links directly within there own calendars.Thanks for any help or advise.

Guest’s mic works normally during phone calls but guest’s phone indicates microphone is not connected during Zoom call.  Why not?

During a live screen sharing session (recorded meeting) I noticed that participants' faces are shown in the little box at the upper right. As the goal of the meeting is to take screenshots of the software being demonstrated, I would very much like this box in the upper right corner to disappear. At the beginning of the meeting I dragged this box off to another screen but was dismayed to see that in the recording it is shown during the entirety of the screen sharing session.  Is there any way to switch off this box entirely, so that when a participant is sharing their screen, we don't see the box floating in the corner in the recording. Today's meeting will not take place and will be rescheduled at a later date. 

Hi, We have been having an issue for some time now where our scheduled meetings are being cancelled automatically shortly after the invite being sent and accepted. When the invite & link is re-sent it seems to be ok but this is confusing clients so is not ideal ! The meetings are mostly 1-1, single date meetings. We use Windows 10. Has anyone experienced anything similar ? and if so, were you able to find out what the issue was ? Many thanks 🙂

I can’t join a meeting or start one. When I press the button to join, the screen turns white for a few seconds, and I don’t get the option to enter the code. The same thing happens when I try to start my own meeting or open the settings. I have the latest version of the app, and my system is Windows 11. I’ve already uninstalled and reinstalled the app, cleared the cache, and switched browsers, but it still doesn’t work.

Hi everyone,Please help to explain this. I'm working from home by accessing the Company's hosted desktop through the Citrix Workspace app (v 23.3.0.55). Yesterday I have upgraded the Zoom Citrix HDX Media Plugin on my PC to version 5.14.0.23370 and I am have Zoom Version: 15.14.0 (23370) VDI installed on the Company virtual desktop. Since the upgrade whenever somebody starts sharing their screen during a meeting my PC goes instant power off. It is like pulling out the power plug. I can initiate a screenshare without any issues, but if others do it, PC goes off. I have uninstalled and reinstalled all the above listed apps and plugins and upgraded the graphics card driver as well, but the issue still persists. Thanks for any insight upfront.
