Hello, Is there a way to record a meeting with the screen resolution set to 9:16?  I want to record our company's mobile app.  The recording will then be embedded into the app as a training video.Can this be done with Zoom? If not, what other tools do you recommend? Thanks😊

As the title indicates, I cannot access Zoom either on my browser (at zoom.us) or through the app.  This issue is only on a single computer, which is hard wired into my modem, and not any other device connected to my home wifi network.  Does not matter which browser is used, and I have cleared cache several times.  In fact, my work even replaced the computer (it's a PC) thinking it was a hardware issue, but even with a new desktop, the issue persists. To be clear, I cannot even *access* the website zoom.us, though oddly I can get to Zoom support, and even more oddly, can get to ZoomGov.  This issue rather suddenly arose one day midday, and it's extremely frustrating.  It doesn't affect any other similar app (like Teams) and when I did have the Zoom app downloaded, that wouldn't work either. Anyone have any ideas as to what could be causing this issue?

I have the up to date version of zoom on my machine but not paid for. I have been able to blur my background in the past but the feature appears to have been removed. Has this feature been slammed behind a paywall, if so that is a poor choice on zooms part as there are plenty of other option for meeting platforms and they also still allow this feature.

I recorded a meeting last night that I need for my grad program.  I can hear the audio but there is no video.  What did I do wrong and is there anyway to recover the video?  This was my first time trying to record.

As the admin, along with my partner, we manage screen sharing and microphone control, while attendees mainly join as listeners.However, I’m facing a challenge that I’d like to resolve. Many participants do not enter the meeting with their full name, which causes issues when trying to identify them during the session. This forces me to interrupt the meeting to ask them to update their name, which takes up valuable time.I’m looking for a solution that would require participants to enter their full name before they can join the Zoom room. I have 19 users with Zoom accounts and cannot seem to upgrade them.  Here are my issues:1. Those with Version 5.15.##, or below, can no longer open their software.  Therefore, they cannot sign on and check for updates.2.  When I go to the Zoom website, I only see "Zoom Workplace" (maybe version 6.1.6.43767?) as a download choice.  Is this the same as plain Zoom? (All current users are on Zoom 5.10.0 thru 5.17.10).3.  If I download, and run the installer, Zoom Workplace will not open.  I still get messages that I need to be above version 5.16.64.  I cannot get any help from Chat, or phone calls, because I'm not "qualified" for live person support. ANY help would be greatly appreciated.

Is there a way to open up a zoom meeting without it opening up in a separate tab/window? I am casting from my laptop to my TV but when I start a meeting it opens a separate window not displayed on my TV

I am on a Mac using Sonoma. My video camera works just fine with FaceTime, but when I begin a meeting in Zoom my screen shows only black. I have tried using the Video controls, deleting the program and reinstalling, etc. I am flummoxed as to how to solve this problem. Your help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Hello, I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra that I want to use for zoom meetings. Most is great, but one thing is sorely missing, and I wonder if I am simply overlooking something. I have two front cameras. A "standard camera" and a "wideangle camera". Now, when I am in a zoom meeting, I can only choose one front camera, the standard one. I really want/need to use that other wideangle camera, but I see no way to choose it. I can also only pick one of the three lenses on the back of the tablet. Is there any way I can add these cameras to my zoom app so I can choose them in my meetings?Any and all help is greatly appreciated. 🙂 

I'd like to add someone as an alternate host for a Zoom Meeting. Zoom says, "Unable to assign "[EMAIL]" as an alternative host because the user cannot be selected at this time." Why? And, how do I add this person as an Alternative Host for Meetings?

I'd like to know how many separate participants a host can pin to separate screens. For example, if I have a quad card, can I pin 4 individual participants to the 4 individual screens? Thank you

Every single time, I have to say no, I do not want audio. I am deaf, and it is very, very annoying. Every single meeting I go to, pop up the "you want to turn on audio", every time someone spotlight me, pop up the "you want to turn on audio" and whenever I want to record the meeting, pop up the "you want to turn on the audio." NO I DO NOT WANT! We can see each other fine in sign language and I just want to be at peace without the audism.

Hello All,  I am trying to change our teams video settings so that the ones who need to are recording at HD. I found the article that shows me where to go and the options I should have. I am not finding these options. I am using the Zoom app on an android 11 phone. When I schedule a meeting and want to send an invite, there's no way to copy a link. I'm in Meeting Details and I click "Invite" and I see "Share". There are some random contact along the  top row and along the bottom are probably 25 apps from my phone that have nothing to do with Zoom or inviting people to a meeting. THERES NOTHING THAT SAYS "COPY LINK". It's crazy. When I click the Chrome icon, it's a complete mess requesting me to sign into my account but not accepting my valid password (which  is what I used to log in here on my computer.) The Zoom app is updated and this problem has persisted for months to the point where I don't even bother using Zoom on my phone. Anyone have any ideas?

This is an old machine, circa 2011, I believe, an A1311, 8EMC 2428, iMac 12,1 running Mountain Lion OS X 10.8I go to zoom.us/download, select Mac, and click on the "here" for Apple Silicon; When click there to download, I get a confirmation popup, confirm it that I wish to download, then it immediately says it cannot install to this machine. Is there a directory for backlevel version of Zoom?

Hi!in the past few years i've been teaching English as a private tutor for a couple of children. While screen sharing the "remote control" access for my students has been a key element to allow more interaction for them while being able to click on my screen to play games and so.However, since the last update I can't seem to find that option anywhere. Could somebody please tell me how to find this feature while screen sharing? It only gives me the option to give control during slides presentation, but it doesn't work either when he have tried using Powerpoint. Thank you.

I have an acquaintance who has an iPhone 12 running system 17.51.She has meetings with a "coach", and Zoom works fine on her computer, and it used to work fine on her iPhone until about a couple of months ago.Now, when she's in the waiting room, and her coach tries to let her into the meeting, the connection "gets lost."  She isn't being told "Goodbye" and that she's being logged out, she just seems to lose the connection.Anyone have any info on this issue?Thanks for any help!  

i use windows magnifier as i’m off the charts shorts sighted. Usually when in a meeting and share my screen (usually a video) the other person sees the video normal size. i use 2 monitors and have VLC playing one. Sometimes for some reason the other person sees the video zoomed in like i do. I made sure i selected share application . Why does this happen and only sometimes ?

Recently I have been unable to log into my Zoom account directly using my Windows PC to start or join Zoom meetings. When I try to log in I get an error message saying:-"Your app version needs to be 5.11.4 or higher to sign in. Please contact your IT team to update your app." I am a private user so I don't have an IT team to contact. (I am the IT team and the user 😁)I am however able to log into my account using the Zoom app my Samsung phone and also using the Zoom app on my Apple iPad. I have tried downloading the latest version of Zoom to my PC but it does not address the issue. Does anyone have any suggestions or solutions? 

Hi there, I have my zoom work perfectly on my laptop. However, when I log into VMWare and start zoom on the virtual desktop (VD), my video is very pixelated and the virtual background is disabled. I've already tried to - Update Zoom on both my laptop and on VD to be the latest versionLog in to Zoom account on both laptop and VDDouble check the settings on the zoom account to enable virtual backgroundRestart laptop, VD, Zoom a couple timesBut it still doesn't work for me. Any advice here?  

As a participant in a call, when I use interpretation I listen to the original audio at the same volume as the interpreter. Normally the original audio is at the back and the interpreter is louder
