I teach online full-time.  On Monday, 9/10 at around 6 pm, there was a failure to connect.  Zoom buffered indefinitely.  My internet connection was fine because I was able to do searches in Google and on Edge.   I had to cancel the class.  I had been working on the laptop (hp intel core i7) all day.  I had even had a Zoom training that morning.  There is nothing wrong with the computer.  I had a Zoom training meeting this morning.I would like to know if anyone else experienced an outage or glitch or whatever you want to call it, on Monday, 9/10 at around 6 pm.  What should I do to troubleshoot in the future?  How should I handle it?  Cancelling is really not a good way handle the situation.Thank you for your help.NicolePS:  I work for an agency, so we have a business account.Error Code: It just said, "waiting for host", I think.  I don't remember an error code.Troubleshoot

We use zoom meetings for our company most of the day. We have to mute the host every so often, but when we unmute recently (within the past month) the audio of the host stops. We have to manually disconnect the audio and rejoin. The app is up to date on all devices, our devices are up to date, we have already tried uninstalling and reinstalling the application.

Using version 6.1.11 Issue:  a client, who can log in to other zoom invites,  can not log into our invite without being asked to 'log back on'.  how can we disable this.   

Hi, please fix that stupid  bug. I've read already that a lot of people have that problem. I was forced to update my Zoom Version last night to 5.16.6., since then it doesn't start anymore. I am using a Windows 11 Desktop Computer. I already tried downgrading the version to 5.16.0, but still doesn't start. FIX THAT! I 

I had a zoom meeting today for a test and the host told me that my connection was bad and then they shared their screen showing that my connectivity was low and they said my video was cutting off. From my end the connection was fine I can see her and hear her perfectly, I also had a zoom call with colleague to test my connection and he had no issues with me. How is this possible?  How can the host see my connection strength but I can't see their connection?

I have had video filters on for a long time and all the sudden this week, it isn't available. I logged into my account, advanced meeting settings and I can see where I turn on my virtual background - which is on. But the Video Filter setting to turn on is not there. Where did it go? 

HELP!!!! I missed an important class because my OBS live stream failed to connect to Zoom. I keep receiving an error saying, "Invalid path or connection URL. Please check settings to confirm that they are valid." I've tried numerous solutions and can't find a video that addresses this issue. I urgently need assistance to resolve this. I recorded some meetings yesterday and they show in my Meeting Management but if I click on the link to open it opens a new Safari tab with the title of the meeting and “Shared screen with speaker view” and the option to “download” but not stream.  This seems to be different this week (last weeks links worked fine).  Have Zoom changed something in a recent patch?

My Facebook profile pic somehow became my Zoom profile pic too. Now that I'm using Zoom for office hours, I needed to change it, so I changed it on Facebook, and in SETTINGS in Zoom the new pic shows. But when I open my personal room to do office hours with students, it's the old pic. The old pic is not great for a teacher/student interaction! I have signed out and signed back in on both Facebook and Zoom. In My Account in Zoom, it's the new profile pic. When I start a meeting, before I turn on my video, it's still the OLD pic. Help??

I have scheduled two meetings, one one day, and one the next day.  I was given the same Meeting ID numbers; is this correct?

My built in microphone on my laptop works fine in every app and even when testing my mic on zoom. I have done test calls and the person can hear me and my mic works fine. But After being in my meeting for 2 hours and I unmute to talk in the meeting. the host or my classmates cannot hear me. The mic is unmuted and the mic icon does not show that it hears or detects me. Everything is up up date and no other apps are open. I have uninstalled and reinstalled zoom and still problem is there. Just started having this issue, never had an issue with zoom before a month ago. Please help as it gets frustrating not being able to participate in class.

I recorded a zoom session and instead of recording it I cloud it shows in my document folder as double_click_to_convert_01.zoom.  I need help to open this file to retrieve the recording.

I recorded a meeting that was an hour and a half long.  After the meeting, my computer froze during the conversion of the recording.  When I open the meeting file, it only has 30 minutes of audio available, however it shows that there was a full hour and a half (the end of the meeting is in silence), and no video is available for the entire meeting.  The video file is in MP4 format and I am not clear of how to fix this issue.  Please help!!

I am using Zoom desktop on a new Windows laptop (Acer Aspire 3) in the UK. I am having audio issues that I can't resolve despite trying a lot of different settings, mics, speakers, and uninstalling/reinstalling. I can use basic audio settings for talking, which works well enough, but is patchy in odd ways, e.g. intermittently cutting out. I notice that the audio test function in settings ('test speakers'), which normally plays a ringtone, doesn't sound right - instead of the ringtone, I just get a few intermittent 'pips'. This happens irrespective of the speaker / headphone type that I use. I am musician and have music lessons via Zoom. This used to work fine, but since getting my new laptop, and despite trying all the different settings for musicians, it's not working - me and my teacher can hear each other talking (most of the time), but as soon as we try to play instruments we can't hear each other. This is making it impossible to use Zoom for what I need! I wonder if the problem

Hi all, I'm a longtime Zoom user, and usually have few issues. However, I had a playreading last night, which we held for the public over Zoom. We allowed the option for others to enable/use live transcription, but I did not enable it on my end, as it was a script, so no transcription needed. I did see the usual Zoom notification that Live Transcription was being used (by someone, not by me). The meeting went great, and I recorded it successfully. I did not see a transcript onscreen. However, my recording includes an onscreen auto-transcript closed-caption, and it's AWFUL. Let me count the ways: It's an auto-transcript so (since this is a play) it is completely wrong and mostly gibberish.The font is HUGE and covers some of the performers' faces completelyI have recorded countless meetings and events and this has never happened to me before. How do I stop the topic name for always defaulting to the same client name?

I have some sleep earbuds, the Soundcore Sleep A10 earbuds which have excellent battery life.  I was hoping to use them for Zoom calls.  They are audio only and come without a microphone.  All other Mac apps work with them just fine, but that is not the case for Zoom.  Best guess is that Zoom is using the bluetooth profile for headsets instead of speakers, since the listing for my Soundcore Sleep A10 earbuds shows up in the listing for Microphone choices as well as Speaker options.  Unfortunately, no sound will route to them no matter what I do.  Any way to convince Zoom that they should use a speaker-based bluetooth profile/protocol for these instead of the headset profile/protocol?    (I use the laptop's built in microphone or a lapel microphone for the voice piece)

I added a secondary "portable" camera in order to get a more desirable viewing angle myself and participants on zoom calls. Although zoom recognized the new camera once on a zoom call,  it continues to default to the camera installed in the computer.   How can I make the new camera the default camera?  Settings does not seem to provide for this.  

I recently bought myself a new computer, and what I've noticed is that my zoom video is laggy. I have a really good computer that can handle a lot.:16 ram, lots of storage, and my WIFI is very good too. When I enter a zoom for class or make a small one for 3 people my lag is always 5 seconds behind. I am also up to date with any updates zoom has. Does anyone have a suggestion?

I can't get a Pro account to record active speaker view in HD (720p). It only records in 360p. (It does record gallery view in 720p.) I've run out of ideas. Please help. It's not a bandwidth or client-side issue. I have 100/100 FiOS internet access and all the clients are up to date (5.17.7 on Windows 10 Pro). The proof is I am able to record active speaker view in HD (720p) on an Education account. I was in a 1hr40min meeting, recording locally. After the meeting I converted successfully to MP4 files. But, the mp4 freezes about 70 minutes in and all audio + video stop. Can I attempt to re-convert these files? How? What are my options to attempt to get a proper download/conversion of these files? This was a HUGE meeting. I absolutely need this. We had no internet issues, I was hard wired in to ethernet. No error notifications.
