Can a Host record, or is a Moderator needed to record a Toastmaster speech?  The Zoom is paid for by a Toastmaster District, which allows multiple clubs to use Zoom.

I have two monitors, the secondary monitor is a virtual monitor created by Windows drivers, so I cannot see it. The purpose is to enable streaming slides while I'm watching PowerPoint's presenter view.But Zoom automatically moves the meeting controls to the secondary monitor, therefore I cannot open Q&A during the presentation, nor control shares.How to show Meeting Controls on a different monitor?

In one of the Zoom meetings I run, I use a meditation bell. On my other computers, the sound is clearly heard by participants if I turn Zoom noise suppression to low or use the original sound setting. On my new HP Laptop 17, it is suppressed regardless of Zoom settings, including when "original audio" is turned on. The suppression occurs whether I use the internal microphone or the one on my Logitech webcam. I found and turned off noise suppression in the "HP audio center" app, but the meditation bell is still being filtered out. I've also disabled enhancements in the sound card.  HP support had no suggestion other than to try their for-a-fee support team. Any suggestions welcome, as this is an essential part of this meeting.

Hi there! I've been looking through support request discussions and this has been desired by users for a few years now. When can we expect this to be implemented? It doesn't add that much file size to the recording and for those of us who use Zoom for music education need this feature as lots of songs and audio required stereo information.

When I set the Zoom timer app, the clock appears very small to the other participants. Is there a way I can make the clock appear bigger? We have multiple people using the account and, oddly enough, for some the timer appears as a normal size and for others it looks very small. Any guidance is appreciated! 

I turned on AI settings and my audio stopped working and all my meetings were gliching all day. Then I went in and turned off ALL AI settings and no more problems. 

hello my english is so bad but i really need your help pleaseso this is my casemy institution have a room and give us a link for meeting and we should claim as a host to record the meeting but i make mistake, not like i always do to save the "record on my computer" but i "record that in zoom cloud" and then when i see my recording in my account there's no one omg i'm so panic rn, is it possible the recording my institution account or no?

Hi, I'm trying to claim host, and have read all the documentation, but the claim host button does not appear on my screen. Anyone else encountered this?

Last Friday many registered guests that were approved could not join a meeting, being prompted to register.Some said that when they did register again they could then join.Apparently desktop users did not have this problem. DO ANYONE KNOW WHAT CAN BE DONE ABOUT THIS? Thank you! 

Posting this as an update to an apparent ongoing issue. Other threads are from last year or marked as "solved". I am using fully updated MacOS Sonoma on an M3 MacBookPro and fully updated iOS 17 on an iPadPro. MacBook and iPad are on the same sub-net with the same router: screen sharing invoked by selecting "iPad via AirPlay" (i.e. wireless connection) does not work. I do not see the "Zoom" option in the iPad Screen Mirroring options (well I actually saw it once or twice briefly but it promptly disappeared). Strangely, if I connect via a USB-C cable it does work and the Zoom option is available as a mirroring selection. If I disconnect the cable while sharing the screen, I see a static image of the iPad (but no error from Zoom), indicating that it is using the wired connection. Screen sharing in Zoom also works if I select "iPad via cable".Following previous posts on this forum I have Stage Manager disabled and the AirPlay Receiver option was never enabled.

Hi Zoom Community,  I've been using Zoom for clarinet lessons with my old laptop for almost 2 years, never had any problem with original sound. Teacher has always been able to hear me playing.  However, recently bought a new laptop and installed 5.13.3 then problem occurred. With screenshot of setting attached, Zoom is not able to record instrument audio as well as vocal audio completely. It either records part of it or not at all, however Zoom can record a full conversation without any issues.  Have tried changing the selections in Advanced setting, but neither works.  Can someone please help me out? Thank you. 

Why did you change the UI?  Now I can't find my schedule on a simple layout???? How do I get my old screen back?  I don't need a masarati to get accross town... a Volkswagen will do.. even the old beetle would be fine.  So, what's the non-rocket scientist answer that is not 'that is a feature' and not broken?

Hello, I am a regular daily participant in a meeting with the same number each time. I use a free account. I have checked by email that the host is actually running the meeting and the number  and password I have are correct, and I know it is happening now and with him present as host. But despite trying repeatedly on my mac desktop, ipad, phone, different browsers, logging out and logging in again, uninstalling and reinstalling latest zoom app, I cannot get into this one specific meeting. He wants me in there with the class and keeps asking me where I am! I can get into all my other zoom meetings with no difficulty, including other meetings he has run with different numbers. The error message I get is either 'The Host has another meeting in progress' or   'Await for host to start meeting'.  What do I try next? Many thanks.

I am a music teacher and I teach a lot over Zoom. The new update is awful. I cannot hear my students play the guitar. I have even turned the original sound for musicians on and it still doesn't work. Is anyone else having this problem? 

When I'm making a meeting and have to set it in a specific time zone, it always switches the time my meeting is in! This is really harmful as we deliver trainings to people. Setting the meeting in a timezone is not intuitive and I often don't catch it unless someone brings it up to me. What do I do to fix this?

Hello I have some unique issue which started just a few days ago. I used to have Zoom meeting open and attend Teams meeting and from last 2 days Zoom participant is not able to hear any voice from my laptop output. and also when I record zoom meeting on my computer it doesn’t record teams output voice. 

I use the zoom add-on on my gmail calendar.  I'm trying to schedule a calendar invitation with a zoom invite - as I have successfully before - but now when I select zoom, it is asking me to login. When I try and login it tries to connect with zoom site, comes up with gobblydook then 'site cannot be reached' Would really appreciate any wisdom!

In one of the latest updates, I am noticing that Zoom is focused on the people who sit closest to the camera but the people at the far end of the table are blurred. I don't have blurred backgrounds turned on or any backgrounds set. How do I overcome this issue?

I use Apple Logic Pro for music production. I have a FocusRite audio interface. I would like to play music from that app with high quality audio while sharing my screen and also be able to listen and talk without feedback. What output setting should I use in Zoom? In Logic? What input setting should I use in Zoom? In Logic?

We have been using Zoom for our hybrid church services for over 4 years. Today a new update came through that caused the audio to become garbled and the sound cut out completely when we switched to music (organ). We searched here in the community and tried a variety of settings but none seemed to fix it all. Does anyone have advice for other sound settings to try? 

I use Zoom *exclusively* for my recurring meetings. The tab keeps moving it to the most hidden places, and with the latest update they're totally gone once again. I go to "JOIN", then I write the ID and password of my own meeting to join as a participant. Please. Please make it available and easy accessible. Just an extra: it's never easy to create recurring meeting with no specific time/date either. Some meetings are recurring at random times, I want to keep the same link for them. 

when i go on to zoom meeting all that pops up is a photo of me, can someone tell  me how do i get a live image of my self so people can see me   Thanks   

Dear Zoom Support Team, I used to have a Zoom Pro account but switched to another provider due to a recurring issue I encountered. Many of my clients, especially those using Zoom for the first time or installing it for the first time, had significant difficulty joining the audio via their mobile device – specifically through the app, not using the phone network. For many users, the process of joining audio via mobile was confusing and led to frustrating delays. In several cases, I spent up to 20-30 minutes helping my clients figure out how to properly connect to the audio before we could start the actual conversation. My question is: Is there now an option when creating a Zoom meeting to allow participants to join audio only via computer or mobile app, similar to how platforms like Google Meet or FaceTime work? It would be very helpful to have the option to exclude

I have been using Zoom by setting up my own meetings.  Now, someone wants to temporarily set them up for me, and they asked me to share my Zoom link with them (not to share a link for a specific meeting, but share a general link to allow them to set up future meetings).  I have a few questions about this:1. Is it the link with my Personal Meeting ID that they want/need (https://us02web.zoom...../......)?  Do they also need the Host Key to set up my meetings?2. If they set meetings up with this link, will I still be the host of these meetings?3. Are there any concerns I should have about someone else having access to my Personal Meeting ID info?  And, is there a way to undo this shared link after the temporary period is over?
