Hello all,I use Zoom for recurring meetings and require participants to register once for the first session. I then use the same meeting ID and passcode for all future sessions. However, once registration is enabled, the invitation link always directs participants back to the registration page—even for subsequent sessions. This has caused confusion for some of my attendees who struggle to reconnect each time.I know that I can start the meeting and copy the meeting link to share it manually. My question is: if I start the meeting, copy the link, and then close the meeting and restart it later at the scheduled time, will that original link still work for participants? Or does Zoom generate a new unique link each time I open the meeting?Thank you for your help!

Although we enabled passcode protection for the recording, external users can access it directly through the link without being prompted for the passcode. This creates a security concern as anyone with the link can view the content.

How do I change my Zoom email address, and also how can I get closed captioning for the hearing impaired in my meetings?I am frustrated by the lack of human agents in Zoom. 

I use a MAC. Zoom kept saying an update was necessary when signing on. I would allow the update...but it kept coming back with an error code. I looked up the error code and followed the instructions as to how to get the update on my MAC. I no longer get the error code. However, since updating (it may or not be connected) I keep getting dropped. This is not good in the midst of a counseling situation. I just had a coaching session (50 minutes) and was dropped 6 times.  I get the little circle and re-connected in about a minute. I do not have other programs on (it was suggested I close them all) and my internet is strong. Because I'm a not-for profit, I got my account through tech soup and when I call for tech support they tell me I'm not eligible. On line suggestions include going to my picture and seeing if I have all available downloads...but that is not possible on my tech soup version that I can find...there is not drop down menu below my picture...HELP! please!

I have 3 licenses and want to add one more.  I have fully paid for the year using the TechSoup discount.  When I add a fourth user will this discount be applied?  I also want to make sure I won't get charged for all four, just the additional one.  When I add the licensee it looks like I am going to be billed for four people.  Any thoughts?   

As a teacher, it would be really helpful if it listed in the chat who specifically left the meeting. Often, I hear the notification, but I have too many students to know who left without downloading a report at the end of the session. It would be helpful if I could see "[participant name] left the meeting" in real-time. 

Hello, I got married in Italy and set up a zoom meeting to have my friends and family watch. I set a scheduled meeting to automatically record. I don't have a recording anywhere. Please help me get the only video I have of my wedding ceremony. 

Hi everyone,  I had a meeting recorded where i agreed and asked for a copy or transcript, I was not the host. I have asked a number of times for the promised record of the meeting but have been told that a copy can not be given as they destroyed the file. is there anyway to get a copy or transcript of the meeting as both parties agreed on the recording in the first instance?  

I want to change the sound my computer makes when I turn the mic on and off while in a Zoom meeting.  It changed recently. Is there a way to do that (on a PC, Windows 11).

When I set up a meeting and create that meetings password, I then copy and paste the notification and put it in our Google Calendar. However, recently we have been noticing that the password is changing before the meeting with NO ONE making a password edit. How can you help me fix this issue as it has happened over a dozen times?

Zoom meetings open by default in a certain monitor.At some point I had this set to my 2nd monitor to open automatically.But I accidentally moved the window pre-startup to a different monitor and now it opens on my primary monitor. How can we change zoom meetings to open by default to a specific monitor?After I move zoom to a certain window it forgets the preference and just opens it in the primary/default place it wants to. This applies to the zoom scheduling window, meeting window, and even the dual monitor window. I tried scouring the help but it seems like nobody asked this exact thing before. Very surprising since most people (1) have multiple monitors and (2) have different preferences for zoom meetings to load in by.

Hi,  Since the last Zoom update, I'm automatically muted when I join a Zoom meeting, whether I'm a host or participant.  I have checked all Zoom sound settings and my device sound settings for Zoom, but I haven't found a way to fix the issue.

I was the host of a meeting and started the recording on the cloud. I paused the recording during the meeting, and my co-host resumed the recording. However, when the meeting was over and the recording was sent to me,  I only received the first half of the meeting (the part that I recorded). The other half that my co-host resumed recording is missing. We have both checked our zoom accounts and our local devices but we cannot find it anywhere. Any suggestions?

Hi, I just recorded 2 video podcasts with my audio on mute but the other participants on full audio but not audio was recorded.Anyway I can get an audio of the podcast? Phil  

I want to change the editable text that gets sent to someone when I schedule a meeting with them using the Google Calendar extension in the Windows Chromeer.

I am on Zoom Version 6.4.6-64630.  I check regularly for updates.  I was on a zoom call today and experienced intense flashing and the screen went dark.  It was okay after a few minutes. But, the whole experience was a bit unnerving.  Are there any suggestions? I was told to uncheck options for hardware acceleration.  Soon, I will be on a Zoom call for a court hearing and want to make sure everything is okay.  Thank you

Is it possible to create Zoom Quizzes that other Zoom users can use? I was thinking to use it for a virtual classroom but was not sure if the facilitators would be able to access pre-built quizzes If I create them.  

Hi everyone, I’m using Zoom for macOS (version 6.4.6) and I found it frustrating that the bottom toolbar (with audio, video, chat, etc.) kept disappearing during meetings. I wanted a way to make it always stay visible, without having to constantly move my mouse. If anyone else was wondering the same, I discovered there’s a setting in Preferences > General called “Always show meeting controls” — enabling that keeps the toolbar pinned at all times. It worked perfectly for me. Still, I’d love to hear if others have additional tips, especially for screen sharing or when using multiple monitors. Thanks in advance!

I am working from a new imac and have followed all the advice i can find to turn off this feature. It all says top left, click on turn centre stage off. There is nothing in top left and i have been through every setting and menu bar, as well as searching on zoom but cannot find anything on centre stage

There is no blur background option in my pc though virtual background works and i      have updated zoom on the latest version ...,,,   There is no blur background option .i have tried by uninstalling and again installing but there is no change  .....,,,       MY SINCERE REQUEST IS PLEASE SOLVE ME PROBLEM .

As the title says; after a call Zoom automatically opens the recordings folder in Finder and I would like to turn this behavior off, I can open the folder myself if I need it. A search brought up a supposed answer but the referenced setting does not appear to exist in the latest Zoom version. Thanks for your help!

I made this request 2-3 years ago and was summarily refused. This is such an easy code fix; I was truly disturbed by Zoom's response and total failure to understand what is really going on with average users out in the world. Feel free to keep the audio setup methodology that you already have...fine...I love being forced to remember the 3 or 4 steps it takes to get to the audio controls...but please add this "easy button". Along with (1) figuring out how to properly send meeting invitations and (2) meeting hosts to manage their screens, the #1 issue I experience in my use of zoom in multiple groups (over 15) is the simple failure of attendees to mute and unmute themselves and the time wasted with the silence, the additional time to figure out how to mute / unmute, and then even more time to restate whatever they were saying. NOT EVERY USER IS AN EXPERT nor do they want to be. These folks are often embarrassed when they realize what has happened. Is that really the experience with zo
