I am looking at upgrading a PC that runs Zoom and currently supports three displays - #1 PC monitor, #2 2nd PC monitor and #3 HDMI output to TVs. The upgraded PC can  support 4 displays, hence I'm hoping to use #4 to display the output from Zoom to a separate TV string.We are using the current PC to run hybrid-Zoom meetings whereby the main meeting runs using the existing three displays and the output of the Zoom meeting is as normal over the internet. However, we have two separate TVs that we'd like to be able to send the Zoom output to so that viewers in these rooms that cannot see the main platform at present will be able to do so.My question is - can one output Zoom to a 2nd HDMI port? I sincerely hope so! 

Is it possible to tag someone with "Notify me when available" permanently so that I get a notification every time their presence changes to available? Currently, if the contact goes Available and then Away again, I wouldn't be notified the next time they came back. It would be useful for those moments when I miss that window to grab them, especially for people that spend a lot of time away from their desks!

I am encountering an issue with one of my channels. The channel is fully visible and functional in the Zoom desktop application, but it does not appear in the Zoom Web Portal.The channel contains important information, and I need to access it through the Web Portal. Has anyone experienced a similar issue? If so, how did you resolve it?I’d appreciate any advice or guidance on how to recover or synchronize the channel.Thank you in advance for your help!

I am an Admin for a Zoom workplace pro account. I had team chat enabled to allow users to use the chat and to attach files. All other options were available to use such as google drive however the my computer option was greyed out for everyone including me the host. There is no information in the help section regarding this issue and was wondering if anyone had any ideas or a particular setting that would cause this issue?

Replies (aka: Threaded Responses) enable you to keep conversations neatly grouped together - so they're easier for everyone to follow. When you hit "Reply" to a post, you're signaling to others in the channel that you're weighing in on the same topic. All the replies stay grouped together under the initial post and can be collapsed for easier viewing.   Have a new topic you want to discuss? Start a new post.

So, maybe you are familiar with other platforms that have teams work workspaces and you're thinking.... I wish Zoom had a way with Team Chat to separate a collection of users and channels.  It's a project, a department, a team, confidential topic or project, sensitive info, and more.....Why not enable, train, and allow users to create Shared Spaces?  OR maybe Admins create and manage the Shared Spaces.  I know 11 minutes can seem like an eternity, but I use a VIDEO to break down Zoom Team Chat: Shared Spaces -  what it is, use cases, admin controls, and end user experience.  Let me know what you think in the comments, throw down some likes! and/or hit me up for additional video requests regarding Team Chat or the Zoom Workplace!  -Mike Hamilton

Is there any way to disable team chat for the whole organization? So we can prevent users from using it.

Hi there, I was very excited to see that Zoom now has this feature to allow email to pipe to chat channels: https://support.zoom.com/hc/en/article?id=zm_kb&sysparm_article=KB0076875#h_4032347733321724744556652 However, despite verifying that I have the appropriate client version (both Windows and iOS), I don't see an option in either client to perform this. I also verified that nothing settings-wise (both at the Account and Group-level) would prevent me from doing this. I do know that we have Advanced Chat Encryption enabled for our account, though I don't see this feature listed as a limitation to the feature. Hello Zoom Team and Community, I would like to propose a feature enhancement for Zoom's chat functionality that I believe could significantly improve communication efficiency for users: Read Receipts, similar to the blue ticks in WhatsApp. This feature would indicate when a recipient has read a message, providing clarity and accountability in conversations. It would be especially beneficial in professional settings where timely responses are crucial, as it eliminates ambiguity about whether a message has been seen or overlooked.

Please tell me there is a way to access chat history if I didn't check the SAVE CHAT box when I started a chat in a meeting. Zoom used to automatically send your chat history after the meeting ended, I didn't know this had changed. It is not at all intuitive. There has to be a backdoor, right? 

Is there any way to format code inline in the Team Chat? I know there are code snippet and quote features, but they're for at least one full line. Sometimes, I'd like to just mention a function name inline, like foo(). This is commonly implemented using Markdown notation, via `foo()`, and is available in Slack, Discord, GitHub, Microsoft Teams, etc.

hello zoomers-I've noticed that on my newish laptop that the fan will start running and make noise when I am in a zoom session.  It seems to only to happen when I am on Zoom.  Is this normal? I've had some other issues and have been concerned that my computer was hacked and became even more concerned when this started. Please let me know if this is common.  Thank you!

Anyone have any suggestions on how to query zoom version number using CLI?Anyone have any suggestions on how to remotely install zoom client for end user? When I pre-install it - it does nothing because the end user has to install it and it installs in their profile path - not Program Files.   I don't see any options in the CLI to find the version installed on their profile.We have many users to install and I don't want to manually visit every PC.

Hi, When we share the following page in Zoom chat, users cannot use the 'Country' dropdown menu to select the country. (Therefore they cannot complete the payment) https://gravitychallenges.com/register-kyle But when we email the same link, it works fine (the country dropdown works) and they can complete the payment. Please let us know the reason for this issue and how to fix the issue. Regards,Praveen.

Not sure what changed, I think it was a recent update, but anyway, we used to be able to click PDF files in chat and they would just open up. Now a window pops up and says that Zoom can't preview a PDF file. Is there a way to get the old behavior back?

I am the owner of a company account with the highest price but didn't receive help within one day so asking here. We are about to start using team chat and I have ran some tests with it. However, for some reason and some settings my account is disabled from creating shared space both in the desktop app and on browser where as admins have this function. Obviously I can create a fake account, make me and admin and solve the problem with that but would be nice to get the feature back. Every setting seems to be OK and as I've used hours already to this starting to get really frustrated. Any ideas where is the problem?

 Hello,I use a Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE for Zoom meetings(version 6.2.11.25892), and I am facing an issue with the chat box feature. Every time I open the chat box, it takes up the entire screen, which completely hides the speaker's video. As I attend classes daily on Zoom, being able to type in the chat while still viewing the speaker's screen, would be incredibly helpful.Currently, I am unable to move the chat box to the right side or adjust its size, which creates unnecessary hassle.I already looked into common solutions, like finding an older version or anything in settings to change, buy nothing helped. If there is any way I could resolve this issue, please let me know. Additionally, if an older version of the app supports this feature, I would appreciate your guidance on how to access it. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Hello, I am wondering if I am missing something. Is there a way to make it so that replies to team chat message remain expanded and don't collapse? Ive gone through settings everywhere

 Hello, I’m experiencing an issue with syncing out-of-meeting chat messages (what Zoom refers to as "Messages") across multiple devices. Each device seems to have its own isolated chat. For example, if I send or receive messages on my phone and later check my computer, the messages from my phone don’t appear on the computer. This is extremely inconvenient, as I have to remember which device I used to receive or send a particular message if I ever need to refer back to it. Is this just how the Zoom chat system works, or is there an issue with my account? Thanks!

I cannot find an answer to this, but if I did miss a solution, kindly point me to it. Since about mid August of 2024, Link Previews are not being displayed in Team Chats. When a video link is posted, the thumbnail and video title are not showing up. There has been no changes that I am aware of to the account settings. I have tried turning on the 'Enable advance chat encryption" ... and then selecting "Enable Hyperlink Preview" when it appears and saving the change, it does encrypt the chats, but still no change in regards to the previews. Is there a setting I am missing, or has something changed globally that I am not aware of? Thank you in advance,  

Hi All, I hope you all are doing well. A couple of users in our account facing issues with Zoom team chat. When I try to send them a message I get the error "Message could not send".  Also getting prompt "Messages cannot be sent because <user's> chat has been restricted by their account admin.".I checked the user setting and can confirm that the team chat license is "Enabled". Appreciate the help. Thanks!!

Good morning, I have a problem, when entering a chat on everyone's screen the name of the Windows user folder (C:\Users\NNN) is seen as the name and not the one configured in the profile, it does not happen always, usually when my camera is not activated, could you tell me how to prevent this from happening and so that the profile name always appears?
