I have a user report an issue where all the deleted user team chats keep appearing in his DM and Chat channels. There is no option to remove them except to clear chat history in their in-app settings nor the admin center.We seem to be able to create a folder and move them there, but that isn't an ideal solution.  

I am looking to merge/dock the Q&A window and the chat window at the same time. Despite our best intentions to have attandees post their questions in the Q&A window, they often post them in the chat instead. I'd like to dock both on the side so I can view both without anything covering up the shared screen or the presenter's video.

I used to be able to copy and paste from word document file, but for the last several months.  But, for some reason, the zoom in chat will not copy and paste.  

I have been searching form this everywhere before posting here. Each custom emoji has a mandatory name like :Smile: however it is never possible to use this.Can someone please explain how to use a custom emoji by its name, with the keyboard, without having to use the mouse and select it in a long list of emojis ? Thanks a lot.

Has there been any more development on using custom emoji's in the chat section? 

Hi,Do you guys know if there is a way to Schedule Group Messages?I send various messages regularly to my group and it would be great if I could skip always posting them manually.Reminders are a great option in the Chat but I would like to schedule them instead, ahead of time.

TRYING TO REMOVE A CONTACT IN MY PERSONAL CONTACTS. KEEPS SAYING TO HOVER OVER CONTACT AND CLICK THE 3 DOTS THEN DELETE . I DO NOT HAVE A DELETE OPTION OR EDIT OPTION ANYWHERE! HELP!

I am using the Zoom team chat on the PC app. A few days ago, I used the feature to add tabs at the top of the channel and added an existing document as a tab. However, yesterday that tab stopped working, and I can’t delete it. When I tried adding the same document again, it worked fine, and I was able to delete the new tab. I want to remove the non-functional tab, but I can’t, and it’s causing some trouble. Has anyone else encountered this issue? Just got latest Zoom Update on MacOS - the mentions tab only shows mentions from external people. Any idea why? 

My company have enabled "Advanced Chat Encryption" for our Zoom messages. This adds a little 'lock' symbol above the message field that says:"Chat content is Advanced Chat Encrypted. However, this chat's metadata (such as the chat's name and chat members' names) will still be viewable or editable by account owner, account admins, and others designated by the account owner."This pop-up comes up every single time your mouse cursor passes the icon. This is extremely frustrating as I have multiple monitors set up, with Zoom on my right-most monitor, and my cursor very frequently passes this icon. Every time I go to write a message, or move my cursor away from that location, the pop-up message appears. The issue is that it does not dissapear unless you click elsewhere in the Zoom window. As per the image attached, you can see that the pop-up covers a large portion of the text in the chat window, which means that if I move my cursor away from Zoom and

Hi zoom, I have a suggestion. Can you please add profile pictures to group chats. Because all other texting platforms have it, and it really helps me organise my groups. As I use team chat for my daily basis. I would like to see if its possible. Thank you.

My employer just replaced my laptop but now all of my work-related zoom chats are no longer available even though my zoom account did not change.  Is there a way to transfer all of the prior chats from my old laptop to the new one? Thanks

Hi, i can see that the Left side bar is a fixed feature and currently no way to turn it off. My question is this: Can this be made an optional feature, ie let the user decide if they want to use it or not. Have the ability to turn it off or revert to how it was before this feature was updated.

I have seen multiple unresolved tickets on this manner dating back several months now, and am posting to see if Zoom Support or any community champions out there might have any updates on it. This issue affects myself and many random users throughout my company.  Basically, in Team Chat settings, we have "Play sound when I receive a new message" checked, as well as other settings like Push Notifications being set to "All messages", and nothing else being muted.  Yet users don't get a sound when they receive a new chat, whether Zoom is the active window or not. I've ensured in all cases that a working audio device (internal speakers or otherwise) was set as the default audio device, both in Zoom and in Windows sound settings.  And I've checked Windows Sound Mixer to ensure the Zoom app itself wasn't turned down.  Sometimes simply re-installing Zoom for an affected user does the trick, but mostly it does not. 

Since yesterday, the contacts of the organization in the application have disappeared from all users of the company. Someone has the latest versions of Zoom, and today they disappeared on all versions of ZOOM after restarting.

Hi, I'm new to zoom. I have created a FREE company account (with CC verified) and added multiple users. (Admin->User management->users) and activated their accounts.  When I log in to my account, most of the times, I cannot see the company contacts list. It does show up sometimes, but it's not there 90% of the time. I have checked on multiple devices and it's the same for all the users I added. (added the users 24 hours ago) I can see them in my chats, I can also see them if I star them (under the starred contacts list). But they are missing in the contacts section.  I have checked this in Zoom Workplace 6.3.11 (60501) - Win 11 and in the web version.  How do I fix this ? Working: https://imgur.com/a/ZoIy5j1 Not working:

Hi, I'm fairly new to using Zoom and I was wondering if anyone can help me with a problem? When I send a time in my link the time that the person receives is not the same time. My time zone is the same but she still is receiving a differnet time as I intended for her to have. Does anyone have any suggestions or solutions for me?

I'm looking to find a way to setup an audio alert, on my computer not my phone, when a Zoom contact calls.  Skype has this feature and it is very useful.  I can hear the ringing and quickly go to my computer to 'pickup'.  Can't do that with Zoom or at least I can't find a way to setup such a feature.  Is it possible?  Thank you for any help you can provide.  I'm obviously a recent transfer from Skype to Zoom as a result of Skype being discontinued in May 2025.
