I am working in a whiteboard in zoom, workplace version 6.0.11.I have made a list inside of a shape, with indentations for sub lists. However, when I exit the shape workspace by clicking outside of the shape, the list numbering changes to continuous numbering. I have used zoom for years and typically use classic whiteboard when I am tutoring. I can usually see my student in a small window as well as seeing the main whiteboard window.  Recently the layout of my screen changed (I assumed a software update) and I can no longer see my student in the window. I have searched the controls but can’t find any way to get the window. Any suggestions please? 

I've created boards and duplicated them when I need to use again- but is there a way to create your own whiteboard template to save and use again and again? I'm on the most recent Zoom update. Thanks!

Hello, is there a written description of all whiteboard templates in a single document? In the thumbnail of each template there is a section "About the Template". Is that information available for all templates in a single document?

Can you extract data / comments made on a whiteboard into a table or format for review?For example, collate peoples comments / feedback into either word or excel file?

Hello. I am having trouble emailing a whiteboard. When I type in an email address (@yahoo.com, for example) and click 'Share', I am given a prompt that reads: "___(my name)____________ has disabled collaboration with users outside your organization". What does this mean and how can I email/share my whiteboard with users? I've attached a screenshot for reference. Thank you!

Since the last update to zoom_amd64.deb on May 18th, when I open a Whiteboard, I can see the selection of new or previously used Whiteboards as it should be. Also, when I enter the same session as a separate user on my iPad, I can see the whiteboard after opening.Alas, on my PC, in the Workplace Window, the Whiteboard only appears for a few seconds, with the icons for a guided tour of the new functions. After that, the Window remains pitch black, only the blue and red Controls on top (You are collaborating on this whiteboard / Close whiteboard) visible and functional. The Whiteboard itself remains visible, no controls, no error codes, just black. I am using Zoom in Ubuntu 22.04.4 LTS on a Lenovo V 14-IIL 

I use Zoom only for educational purposes, and since the recent update, everything has been a disaster. My students see my whiteboard with a significant delay, making it very difficult for them to follow my explanations because they do not see what I write in real-time on my whiteboard, which appears when I share my screen. They can see graphs with Cartesian axes and other tools that my native whiteboard has. Additionally, I can pause the sharing, and they can perform the operations, then, when I resume the shared screen, they check if they have done it correctly. However, with the native whiteboard, this is not possible. I am suffering a lot with this new update when everything used to work well before. Furthermore, I have students with not very good connections, and since the update, everything has slowed down for them. Is it possible to set up whiteboards so that posters are anonymous? I'm trying to find an alternative to Google Jamboard and one of the most important features of that tool was the ability for people to participate anonymously. 

Users not in my organisation cannot annotate on Whiteboards shared during a meeting. Weirdly, if I open the old version of the whiteboard through "Share Screen" other users can annotate, but this version of the whiteboard doesn't allow me to import images. I think this might be a setting that's been turned off by the admin of my organisation. If so, is anyone able to let me know which setting needs changing so I can ask my admin to change it? [I'm using Windows 10 with the latest version of Zoom.]

With 5.10.3, Whiteboards are turned on for all users. Is there a way to disable them at the account (web) level? I know they can be turned off in a meeting by unchecking Whiteboards in Security.Turning it off in In Meeting (Basic) -> Whiteboard (Classic) doesn't do it. The problem is that anyone can start a Whiteboard, and it hijacks the meeting until someone figures out how to turn it off (uncheck in Security or Stop Participants Sharing in View Options). Since the ad for the feature shows up in every client that updates, someone is sure to do an "OOh, I wonder what this is."

Hello, I am an owner of a paid account and I cannot seem to allow others to collaborate in an existing whiteboard I prepared. I do not have an option for Whiteboard Cloud sharing in my Account Settings.  I've waited a lot of time on this and it's pretty frustrating. Please help!  

Hi Forum, I wanted to connect my Google Drive with Whiteboard. During the login and verification process, there was a permission checkbox at the very end, which I did not notice, and I clicked agree. So, my Google Drive connected with Zoom, but I could not access the files. So, I want to disconnect Google Drive from Whiteboard, but there is no option to do that. I have tried Chatbot and different threads. There is nothing on how to disconnect a Google Drive from Zoom Whiteboard. Please help me with this. Many thanks in advance.

Is there any way to change the aspect ratio of Stickies on the Zoom Whiteboard? I'm only finding two options: they default to square; If I drag the side of the sticky note, I can make it slightly wider than square. I'm trying to make a tall, harrow sticky, but all attempts to change the aspect ratio with the corner and edge handles wind up making a larger or smaller sticky note, but they remain square. I'm using Zoom Workplace Version: 6.0.2 (33403), on MacOS. Thanks!

 I have already a subscription of zoom on pro where i get access to whiteboards also, but is it really neccesary to take white boards subscription also , as I its enough for me to have 2 boards for every meeting. Should i take it or can use it from zoom one pro subscription.

I'm trying to download a PDF or PNG of the whiteboard but those options don't retain the color of the text or any highlighting on the whiteboard. Is there a way to download and maintain the different colors of texts or highlights? The only color it retains is the color of lines. 

When I convert to pdf what I wrote on the whiteboard some greek letters are presented with boxes. This started recentlyWhat is the problem ?Please advise

Hi. People in my meetings cannot collaborate/ edit on my whiteboards. In the meeting settings, I have whiteboards enabled. However, the default access level is stuck at 'invited users' and does not allow me to share with 'anyone'. This seems to mean participants can only be viewers. It doesn't change whether I toggle the basic whiteboard setting (in Meeting settings) to 'whiteboard by default' or leave it with the classic whiteboard. The ? note says that the admin has disabled 'anyone' but I am the the only user of this (paid) account.

For some reason, some of my boards became view-only for everyone (even me) after I shared the link with other people (they had view-only access). Is it a bug? How can I fix this

This is on iPad 2020, using the Zoom app. After a year of getting used to having the taskbar (mute, video, end meeting, etc) on the side, the update today (24 April 2024) suddenly changed the taskbar to the bottom of the screen.I cannot find a way to change its orientation again - anyone have any ideas?I don't understand why users can't have a way to orient the taskbar as they wish?

I had my first Workplace meeting today with Whiteboard.  Oftentimes on long meetings I am also multitasking in the background.Is my cursor being recorded and projected on the screen to everyone:1) while the Whiteboard tab is up in my browser?2) while I am working in another tab?3) while I am working in another app like Outlook or Word? I need to know so that I am not distracting everyone in the meeting.  Even better would be the ability to turn the tracking functionality off so that I don't need to worry about it.  I have never used my cursor in online meetings. Thanks!

They RECENTLY made a change and now my classes are interrupted and can't get immediate help. This is so unfair. Does anyone know how to fix this?  Support won't help me even though they made the change.

Hi guys, I am new at using Whiteboard at Zoom. Created needed template for me and can't zoom-in or zoom-out it without clicking a button in a graphic interface. Would love to zoom-in and zoom-out just by using Mac's touchpad but doesn't work. At Miro it works with the same laptop. What can I do about that? Is there anything I can do to fix it?

I am in Zoom > Account Management > Account Settings > (Whiteboard Tab) > scrolled down to the section called "Whiteboard Sharing Defaults" On that page I believe I've turned on every setting to allow maximum access from the world 😆 but I still don't seem to be able to change the "access level" setting below to "Editor"... because what's the point of a collaborative whiteboard if others cannot collaborate on it? 😄 By the way I've already set the "Default Access Level" to "Anyone" but the setting right below that (pictured here) still is grayed out / cannot be clicked on...  

I'm a Lecture Capture Coordinator at a state university and I've gotten complaints that the latest version of Whiteboard does not display the text in a meeting recording until after the text box is deselected. I tried it myself in my updated version of Zoom 6.0.0 (37205) and confirmed the same issue in my own recording. This is an issue for instructors who spend an extended amount of time in a text box during a remote meeting lecture and don't deselect a box because they still want to update and type in it. I also find this setup to be unintuitive, I would prefer it if displayed the text being typed out. Students watching a recording will be scratching their heads wondering what is being typed when there is nothing being displayed.Can Zoom revise this issue?
