We want to start as a "webinar" for 1.5 hours then turn the “webinar" into a “meeting" for an after-chat for those who want to stay and discuss the webinar. Can this be done during a webinar, or do we have to invite participants back in with a different link as a meeting?
Hi everyone, my session controls are supposed to look like image 1 but look like image 2 how do I add the missing controls?
We hold webinars several times a month. The webinars are held separately by content using the registered webinar URL.For each URL, there is a background that makes it difficult to see the detailed angle of view,Some things may be displayed in the desired formI would like to unify all displayed ranges if possible, is there any way to do this? The same PC, accuracy, sitting position, etc. are set the same, but it differs depending on the URL.
I attend a lot of webinars from various places. I have a paid Zoom account, and am logged in. Yet I have to enter all my details (name, email, org) EVERY D*MN TIME. I reached out to Zoom help desk about this, and they said it's for "security." This is BS. If I'm logged in, then that's all the security you should need. It takes 0.0 seconds for a bot to auto-fill a form with spam registrations. It takes me minutes. This "security" feature makes it harder for people to register, and easier for spambots. Please autofill webinar information for logged in customers. If someone is spamming with an account, you should be able to catch that.
In Zoom Webinars, we are having trouble enabling chat emoji reactions and chat thread replies. How do we enable chat emoji reactions for Zoom Webinars? How do we enable chat thread replies for Zoom Webinars? (These already do work for our Zoom "Meetings" but not in the "Webinars")
We are running a webinar where participants did not have to register, they are free to log in via the URL we are sharing with them. We disabled the registration setting and any other prompt request we could find in the settings but when we do some tests and try to log in we are still seeing the "Enter Meeting Info" prompt asking for a name and an email. Is it possible to remove this in any way?
Dear Zoom Community, I am looking to use Zoom Webinars to run a small virtual multi-day "conference". I would like attendees to be able to change the language that the captions appear into the language of their choice. I know this is not something Zoom provides, but would love suggestions for third-party addons that may fit our needs. Essentially, I need what the Presenter in the webinar is saying to be automatically captioned live into multiple languages. Any suggestions? Thanks, Paul (wiedmaier121@gmail.com)
After adding a new Custom Questions for a webinar,I found that I can not bulk upload attendee information as I did before. How can I bulk upload attendee information like this⇓?・first name ・last name・mail address・a Custom Question I created
We are working on compiling our webinar report for 2024 but are only able to see attendee data from our last three webinars. Is there a way to access attendee numbers from earlier webinars in the year? If so, could you please guide us on how to retrieve this data Thank you for your assistance!
I'm planning to organise paid webinars and I'm wondering if I have to set up tickets for my attendees or can I just need to connect my paypal to collect the fees.
I would like to understand what exactly would happen if I lose my internet connection during a webinar for which I am the only host (no alternative hosts or panelists). Would the webinar continue and panelists remain until I am able to join the webinar again?
Hi everyone!I am currently having an issue with a webinar that I've created a few weeks ago:As I'm leaving my company in a few days, I will not be able to actually host the webinar or edit it after I'm gone. Therefore I want to transfer the ownership of the webinar to a colleague, but can not find options to do so. Can anyone advise me on what to do?Thanks a lot for your help!Best,Oskar
I understand that a Zoom Enterprise meeting license also comes with a Web 500. When assigning users, is there a way to assign the meeting license without also assigning the included Webinar 500 license to a given user?
Good morning, Is there a way or option to, by default, allow participants in a webinar the ability to unmute themselves? I have done some digging, and I believe I found a way to enable it per meeting, but we would prefer it to be a default "going forward" option that anybody in a webinar can unmute themselves to speak. Thanks, Tyler Kurth
Hi. I am using zoom to host webinars for a Learnworlds platform. At the moment I am struggling to get Learnworlds to recognise the resgistration link from zoom. Does anyone have experience with this who can advise? Many thanks
I'm Zoom admin but can't find where to update the body in Zoom webinar follow-up messages, only the top and tail. An old message is embedded that I don't seem to be able to update. A few messages seem to say this isn't working but they are months old so I'm hoping this has been fixed. Anyone help?
Hello, Recently we scheduled a webinar and during this process we had the option to set an Alternative Host for the meeting. At the time we did not set it up because we needed to upgrade our colleague's account. However, now that the account has been upgraded it seems that I cannot find the option to add him anymore. Is it not longer possible since the webinar is already scheduled, or does it move places from the tabs? Apologies for the newbie question but this is the first webinar we run on Zoom. Thanks for your help.
Hello, We've added tags to a few sessions in our multi-session zoom event. They appear on the registration page on each of the sessions. See the image below, you can see two tags, one of them says construction. Unfortunately, they do not show up inside the lobby. See below. I can filter by audience and product, but users need to click into the filter button. Is there something I can do to make them show up in the lobby by default?
In the ever-evolving world of virtual events, creating a seamless and engaging experience for attendees is key. One feature that’s helping event organizers strike the perfect balance between preparation and live interaction is Simulive in Zoom Events. This tool has become a game-changer for many professionals, including myself, who aim to deliver polished presentations while staying accessible to their audience. Recently, I had the opportunity to host a Zoom Event where I leveraged the Simulive feature. For the main session content, I pre-recorded my presentation, allowing me to deliver my message with precision and consistency. During the event itself, I stayed behind the scenes in the Backstage area, monitoring the session and responding to attendees’ questions in real time. This approach not only helped me engage with my audience more effectively but also reduced the pressure of speaking live. What makes Simulive so unique is the ability to transition seamle
I've been producing webinars on zoom for several years now, and in the earlier versions of Zoom, there used to be an option to automatically engage "Original Sound for Musicians" when a certain sound source was selected. Right now if you change audio sources, it toggles off as well and stays off when you come back to the sound source which previously **was** in "Musician" mode. Would it not make more sense for it to have to be turned off if you DON'T want it, (after all you've already selected to engage it the settings). It worked fine before, could we have that again?
I'm not sure if there's been a change in the way zoom does it, but it used to be that I was able to set up "Speaker View" as the default view for attendees in a webinar.Does anyone know how to set this up now? I've tried looking up and down the settings, and I can't seem to find a way to do it. In case this feature is not built-in, I hope the folks from zoom are looking at this. it's especially helpful when there are many moving parts in the Webinar and sometimes changing the view is overlooked - which leads to the audience seeing what it's not supposed to...
If I need my delegates to register before entry (for security reasons) do they also need a zoom account or to download the app?
I am unable to register for public webinars with my free zoom account. I am trying to join a public webinar hosted by Aurora Energy: https://auroraer.zoom.us/webinar/register/1817338665272/WN_Za6zPKuiQEubkfNhvOTW1g#/registrationHowever, when I enter my registration information, I get an error saying "This webinar is only for authorized people. Register with a different email address". Although the webinar is clearly a public webinar, and the email adress I use for registration has a free zoom account associated with it. I have raised this issue with Zoom in several tickets over the last few months, without getting any helpful response. Now my tickets are simply being closed whenever I create them. Anyone else has similar problems, or is there anyone with a free zoom account who has actually been able to register for a public webinar?
Is anyone having issues turning on breakout rooms in webinar. When you select the webinar tab there is no toggle to enable break out room.
