I created a webinar and invited a number of attendees via email (copied the details). However, they were not asked for a passcode before they could enter the webinar. As this is not a public webinar, the participants may only enter the webinar with a passcode.
We need some advice on a situation in which we find ourselves. We have a Webinar set with a speaker tomorrow (Nov. 3rd) and currently have 140+ registrants. He is a trial attorney and contacted us late yesterday saying he's been called to trial and is unavailable. He does NOT know when he'll be available yet. Questions are: How long is the webinar link good for if I have to set a tentative date? Can I set it for sometime in Dec. or does it need to be within the next 30 days? If I set a tentative date (say 2 weeks in the future), can I change that date again to another 2 or 3 weeks in the future while retaining the webinar link? I understand the registrants will get an email when I change something in the webinar, so I'm not concerned about that. My main concern is how long the webinar link that they currently have is retained and usable. &nb
Is there a way to let someone into a onzoom webinar room with a link versus having to register for a ticket when it is set to free? Can we link onzoom to Calendly?
Last week, I had a webinar for a client. When I went to download the cloud recordings, they were not .mp4 files - they were PDFs. I downloaded them and then had to open them with the Windows Media Player per support. There were still issues with the recording so I had to get creative in editing them. Has anyone else had any weirdness like this happen? How did you resolve it? Sharyn aka Webinar Chick
I work for a firm that is required to capture written communications from all meetings. We have journaling turned on in Zoom for Webinars (to Global Relay) but the journaling only captures chat, not Q&A. When will Q&A journaling be supported? Because this feature isn't available our users are not allowed to use Q&A which is a big issue in webinars.
Hi everyone, yesterday I registered a webinar and I saved it on Zoom cloud. But today the registration is not available. How I can find the registration, now? Thank you for support.
I am presenting a live zoom webinar tonight and I have collegues in the field that want to share the webinar on their own zoom link for private virtual watch parties. How do we do this for the best results?
recurring webinar is not remining the audience ...(week, day, hour)what to do?
Hello! As a host of the webinar, I want to be able to introduce the webinar, manage chat and QA, and all the other items. AND - I want my Panelists - to be able to manage the slides when ready (advance slides, share their screen if needed, etc...). The only method I see for doing this is to Share my PPT; and give Access Controls of my mouse over to a Panelist. There has to be a better way, right? Isn't there a simple way to "give presentation controls" over a Presenter? What am I doing wrong? Thanks much!!!
HII am running a 5 days conference in late October with zoom event. However, while I am testing the screen sharing and I found out a very serious bug. Often, when you try to share a presentation, it allows you to share the first page, then it is PAUSED in yellow bar message saying the screen is now in pause and you need to move the window to the front. There is no way I can move the window or undo the pause (the pause button is not working) and the attendees are not able to see any further screen sharing. I have tested this many times and 5 out of 10, this problem happened. Can anyone else tell me if you have encountered this problem and how you solve this issue?
How do I make sure that the chime sound is disabled?
We have a webinar set-up for next week and a set of panellists/hosts for the webinar. Are there any privacy/GDPR issues with sharing the names of the list of people who have signed up for the webinar with the 4 panellists/hosts 'chairing' the webinar?
Hi - I didn't receive any responses and am still struggling with how to best set my next webinar up!My question is if I manually upload a CSV file to Zoom with registrars from another source will each participant receive a Unique URL/Link as they do when they register directly through Zoom or will it send a general link to each participant? Thanks in advance!Robbi
How To Webinar By Free??
Just seen that Zoom Events is launching "Conference" https://success.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_hh7BMA4uSnuU7-ZTYJfMvQ?id=GrsFEH4WSgGeaEQjlL00xg
Hi - my panelists didn’t receive the zoom invite to be panelists! Do they just log on using the main meeting code and password? My meeting is in a few hours and I am a little anxious about this! thanks
Hello I keep reading that live transcripts are available for webinars, but that feature is not available on our account. We have enabled Live Transcripts in our admin panel and it works for regular zoom meetings, but it is not working for our Webinars. In Webinars, we only have Closed Captioning options available. Any thoughts?
Hello all! I would love someone to assist me. I am not receiving email notifications when a guests registers for my webinars. Thank you so much Maree
In a webinar, viewers with a smartphone or tablet see the video in 1/4 of the screen, as if it were in gallery view and do not have zoom options
Hi, I'm curious if there's a way that I can view how engaged our webinar participants were. Specifically, not just time logged onto a meeting, but the total time that the webinar was the active window on a participants computer.
Hello, One of our departments recently purchased the Webinar add-on. Prior to purchasing the add-on they had several meetings already set up and meeting links on attendees' calendars. Now that the webinar add-on is in place, do they have to recreate those meeting links as webinars, or will the current links work properly?
Hi All, I'm just trialing zoom events - using summit function for what is actually a 3 day event but setting up as 3 summit days as the multiple day function not yet available. Having only used zoom meetings before. I now understand I can record the event sessions to the cloud and that will give me access to them without being able to do anything in event, but I can still download the recording via accessing my pro zoom account? Question #1 is....is the record like meetings? i.e when I record in meeting I can download multiple record types...one with all participants on view, one with just slides and speaker and other with just slides for example. I would like this function in events recording but I can only see it says it will record host, speaker and attendees...but will there be variations of the recording with just speaker and slides in my zoom account? Question #2 is I'd like to hide number of participants as we have ticket sales for live or on-dema
I want to send a cancellation message to all registered on the webinar. Support sends me to zoom events but I can't see my webinar there. Is there another way of doing this? txs
Hello,I have a question about practice sessions for Zoom Webinars. We are using this platform for an online conference over two days. We wanted to have two separate practice sessions for each of the days as we have different speakers for each day. I wondered whether this was possible to do as they are separate 'occurrences' of the same Webinar template. I have seen that the guidelines say you can only have one practice session per Webinar, and that is where I would like some clarity. Short question - Do we have to practice for a Webinar occurring over two-days in one practice session only or can you have individual practice sessions for each day? Many Thanks, ECasson
