I am allowing participants to chat during my webinars, but some participants prefer to close their chat window to avoid being distracted by chats. But then they see a distracting pop-up box in the lower center of the Zoom window every time s new chat appears, even when their chat box is closed. Is there any way to allow chats but turn off this chat pop-up box? Thank you!
When I try to run a webinar attendance report, the user's emails are missing from the report. It just started recently. Any attendance report before March 1st has emails in the report. Reports starting on March 1st don't have them. No settings been change from Zoom settings. Any idea? Thank you.
I have run regular webinars for over a year now, typically myself as host, up to 3 panellists and up to 500 attendees. Panellists usually receive their panellist link straightaway when the little box in bottom LHS is ticked. On our last occasion, although the record confirms this box was ticked, only one panellist received the link. Any ideas/ suggestions?
I've created an event for out customer and prospect event on Zoom events for the first time, and noticed that I don't have access to the Registrants information. Zoom events asks if they're willing to share their information with marketers, which they can choose not to. If they do that, I see nothing other than their names. This unfortunately means I have no idea which customers of ours choose to attend, hindering my awareness, tracking, content customization and follow up. For opening the event to new prospects, we get no leads out the other end of the event, which is part of the reason to promote it in the first place. Is there a setting I can change? Or a different way to build the event to avoid this? In Zoom webinars I can work around it by putting a form on the landing page that comes to us first then we manually add them. not ideal but then we at least see who's joining. This can't be done in Zoom Events due to them having to sign into Zoom first to Register (
Hi, In a recent webinar attendee report, there was a handful of attendees showing a confusing note, and I'm not able to find out in the Zoom support pages any information. Perhaps someone here can help! This webinar was about 2 hours long and had both panelists and attendees. The attendees are 'guests', in that they aren't joining using a Zoom username or password related to the account. In the 'attendee details' section at the bottom, is a column with the heading 'Approval Status'. And most of the attendees are shown as 'approved'. But, some attendees are shown in this column as 'denied'. Does anyone here know what that refers to? I don't believe it refers to the registration status of the attendee since those folks did register and registration was set to automatically approve. It's not related to getting into the meeting, since they show as having attended the meeting, based on join and leave times. It's not related to accepting being recorded,
It has a pro grade. And,I applied for 500 webiner. If you click User Management, there ares another zoom room account(B) besides A, and B's user account is given a "webinar". For A's account, clicking the webinar does not bring up the schedule setting screen. If I click on the webinar in B's account,I will see access restricted (200). Please tell me how you can hold a webinar.
Hi, I want to share some pre-recorded video footage during some upcoming webinars. What is the max file size/duration that these video files can be? Thanks
Hello ZCommunity...I recently hosted a webinar (2/22/2022) for a client and pinned her and the panelists she interviewed one at a time. it was great live because it looked like camera switching or speakers coming to the virtual podium one at a time; very impressive. Once the cloud recording was available, I noticed it recorded in speaker view not the two pinned videos. My settings are below. What did I do wrong?Cloud recordingRecord active speaker with shared screenRecord gallery view with shared screenRecord one audio file for all participantsSave chat messages from the meeting / webinar
Is there a way to track an anonymous person that posts threatening comments in the Q&A of a webinar?
We need to share short video clips at the start of our webinars. I join as the Host and have tried a standard screen share and sharing via the video gallery (advanced settings) with both share sound and optimize for video clip checked. Sometimes it works, and other times the audio does not work. Attendees also see grayed out boxes where my control panel is. How do I fix these issues?
I am organizing a conference and we would like to record some sessions prior to the conference and make them available for on-demand viewing once the conference begins. How can this be done in Zoom Events? Here are a few ideas, but I'm not sure if any of them will work.1) Is there a way to upload videos? This would be ideal so that I can get the videos professionally edited and closed-captioned.2) Record a session before the conference using Zoom so that it will appear in the Recordings section of the Hub. How would you do this? Do you need to make a fake session prior to the conference that you would record live? How would you do this without altering the conference dates? Any thoughts on the above ideas or any other possible solutions?
Hi,We're running a Zoom Events Conference, and have been testing registrations before we send invitations. I can see in analytics that there are 6 people registered, but can't see any detail on those registrants anywhere - nothing in 'manage registrants', nothing under webinar registrations as a report, and when I export to Excel in analytics it says 'data is not available yet' (even after 24 hours). I'd appreciate any help please!
My organization is hosting an in-person conference in April. We have a handful of presenters that still cannot travel but still want to participate in their sessions. We would like to have them present virtually to the audience that is in-person. Since the audience will not be dialing into zoom (since it will be shared on the screen in the room) I am wondering if there is any difference between the Meeting and Webinar platforms that I need to consider. From looking over the product specs there does not seem to be a difference that would impact this setup but I am wondering if I am missing anything. Has anyone else used a setup similar to this... and if so, what are some best practices you would like to share? Or technology hurdles you had to overcome (if any)? Also, is there a difference between meeting and webinar that impacts this type of delivery? More details about our use case:These sessions will have presenters "in the roo

For some reason, when we use our Webinars account and send out an invite to users, it shows up in users Outlook Calendars as as an MS Teams meeting. Any idea on how to stop that?
I want to add a stock ticker esque element to the bottom third of my screen during a Zoom webinar. Is this possible?
For each webinar, Zoom allows users to download an Attendee Report spreadsheet, which states the registrations and actual attendance for that single webinar. I want to generate an Attendee Report which contains this information for ALL webinars. The current method seems to be (1) go to each webinar, (2) download the attendee report, (3) copy its contents, (4) move that content over to a master spreadsheet that we just started. However, we do a webinar a day and we have months of past webinars that need to be added to this master spreadsheet. It would take many hours. I briefly investigated the Zoom API but it was too complicated. I checked out Zapier but they have limited triggers - when there is a meeting registrant, it can be added to a table. This does not cover our use case for webinars, past webinars, and most importantly, attendance. Does anyone have a better approach than manually copy and pasting? Is there an app in the marketplace that could prov

Hi. I'm new to Zoom Events and am currently setting up my first conference. Where do I add ticket tracks in the conference setup, as I can't add a session without it. Zoom support chat was unable to help. When I create a new ticket type, it tells me there are No Options, and when I try to add a session, there are no options either. Hopefully, someone can help! Thank you.
Can I add a link to an invitation or webinar confirmation? I'd like to send out a pre-event survey.
Will the video be truncated at 1GB?Will it continue recording past 1GB then start charging for more storage?
Hi- Is it possible to require registrants to fill out registration information when purchasing a ticket for an event? Do the other types of platform (webinar) allow this? Currently registrants don't even have to enter an email address, much less any other contact information. If this is not possible, could the interface be adjusted so the registrants would need to opt out rather than opting in? Currently they don't even see the registration information fields. They of course have the right to opt out, but they also might be fine including their information if they see the fields and know it will connect them with our organization and community. Thx!-Jon
Hello,We had a webinar last week and for some reason the 1 hour reminder notification did not go to attendees. We have had webinars before where it did work. I've opened a ticket with Zoom, but information has been slow coming from them. Has anyone else ever experienced this? Thanks!
I ran my first Zoom webinar this past week. It was marketed by groups all over the country and I simply provided the Zoom log in info. I asked each group to send me a list of registrants (I wanted contact info for marketing follow up) but discovered I could simply download an attendee list straight from Zoom, complete with name and email. So, the question is, How did that happen? That is, if they didn't need to register for the webinar through me, how is it Zoom was able to capture the information? I'm simply curious, but also wanted to know so that I can save the time used chasing each individual group for their attendee list.
I get a developer error when I use the add to Webinar button on a Lead or Contact in Salesforce. The error is due to the character limit for the participants field in the Zoom External Meeting object. When I press “Invite” error says: Insert failed. First exception on row 0; first error: STRING_TOO_LONG, External Key: data value too large: *********** (max length=50): [zoom_app__External_key__c] When I press “Register” the error says: Argument cannot be null. Do you know how I could solve this issue?
