Meetings

I can longer hear the audio on Zoom calls and only on Zoom. All other audio works on my PC. When I bring up the Zoom audio settings the correct speaker is selected but I run thru the 4 selections that are there which includes the speakers (listed 2x), audio card and microphone. When i press test speakers the meter bar reacts like there is sound but there is none. Again I get all other sounds. Music play, notification sounds. I was also on a Google Meet today without a problem. Only Zoom and all the settings I see appear to be correct.

I have a PC AMD 5700G CPU, running POP!_OS 22.04 LTS and GNOME 42.9.  For the past few weeks Zoom has been behaving oddly. Trying to join a meeting through my desktop client would do nothing, but recently it won't even let me sign in. It keeps telling me to upgrade to version 5.14.4 or higher. When I download the upgrade, nothing happens, and if I try to force it in the terminal with sudo apt install zoom_amd64.deb, I get the message that the file can't be found. I've also tried flatpak repair and clearing app's cache.   Unfortunately, I kind of need Zoom for work. I can join through my browser, but that seems to use a lot of resources and makes my comuter unusuable, causing audio and other problems.  Any help would be appreciated.

Hi, Please bear with me, this may seem a convoluted setup but I have reasons… I have been streaming events in Zoom on a MacBook by outputting a vision mix over virtual webcam. I have the Zoom camera off and mic muted, and share screen set to second camera with sound - the second camera picking up an OBS virtual camera and sound going through OBS monitor device set to ZoomAudioDevice. I have done extensive testing and believe this is the best way to deliver a HD vision mix that maintains lip-sync. It also means no special privileges needed on the Zoom account, so I can always use the client’s own account.  The floor with this is that there seems to be no way to get a mix-minus of the Zoom meeting - ie Zoom only outputs sound with my input to ZoomAudioDevice (ie OBS sound mix) as well as the meeting sound. This is great to monitor, but for the host of the meeting I can’t provide a monitor of the meeting particip

I am trying to use the Trim function on my Cloud Recording with no success. I followed the directions by setting the start and stop setting of what I want to keep and I then click Trim and Trim. It says it is trimming and when I open it a few hours later when I open the recording it says it was trimmed. But the part I want to get rid of is still there. I am obviously doing something wrong. But I don't know why it is not working. Please help.

The following configuration is resulting in the removal of Facebook, Login With Email and Disable User Sign Up despite not being specified. The behavior seen as when client is first ran, the options are available and sign in via SSO occurs per normal. Is their a way to pull a Registration Report before the meeting?

I’ve seen a few posts about this but no resolutions.  When I’m in a meeting, if I rotate my phone into landscape mode, the view does not rotate.  The video of me that I see rotates.  But my view of person I’m speaking with does not.  Is there a solution for this?  It’s super inconvenient.

From my home PC I have scheduled a meeting in a couple of weeks for my Society's AGM. The meeting will be hybrid with the physical meeting taking place in another city. I hope to use the PC at that distant location to access the internet and start the ZOOM meeting. Can you tell me what to expect please. Will the ZOOM software be downloaded automatically when I try to sign in  to my ZOOM account on that machine?

Hello community,  I just wanted to check the following:Does deleting "Audio only" file make "Shared screen with speaker view" file still audible? I don't need the Audio only file so I was thinking of deleting it to save space. But I am not sure if that will affect the other file "Shared screen with speaker view", if people are watching the recording, will they still hear the audio?? Thank you in advance.

In the list of devices I find in the Zoom app 6.0.4 are two divices I can't from the list:one is the primary device on a windows system,the second seems to be the name of a browser as the name is Safari_PWA.I don't know the second one.Is this a standard in Zoom? We are using the iOS Meeting SDK version 5.16.6 and are experiencing low audio volume in our apps on iPhones even when the device's audio volume is turned up to the maximum.We couldn't find anything related to volume configuration in the SDK docs. What could be the issue?

My meetings are "no fixed time recurring meetings". I have a long list. I have named each recurring meeting according to the name of other person/s attending the meeting. On my phone and iPad the list is organised alphabetically. On my computer there appears to be no obvious system to the way the list is organised.  Having the recurring meetings listed alphabetically on my computer would be helpful. How do I do this? Rosalie

 Hello, I need to share a part of my screen. The option "Portion of Screen" is not available In Share Screen > Advanced. It's not from the meeting settings, because it's available in the same meeting on an other computer OS: Ubuntu 24.04zoom version: 6.0.2(4680) Thank you!

Hey there,  Im totally new to zoom so sorry for any dumb questions.Right now im on the free plan and i want to host a webinar for a product i'm launching. My question is, what settings do i need to make, so that my participants cant see who else is in the call. What plan do i need in order to do this. I haven't found any information about this.  thanks 

Hello. Today, we had a webinar. There was an issue where I, as a co-organizer, was responding to messages, but no one could see them because I only had the 'Organizers and Presenters' option. The 'Everyone' option was unavailable to me. Another colleague initially had the 'Everyone' option, but it disappeared later. Could you please explain why this happened and how we can prevent it in the future?

Hi all, I'm using Mac OS, and I have this problem that I can't connect cloud storage for zoom records, I use google drive for this and I don't get a proper setting   

in the cloud records section, the window on the left for selecting an entry to delete to the trash has disappeared. How do I delete entries in the trash now?

I manage a Zoom account with 10 user licenses. When users in my account record meetings to the cloud, the recordings go to Recording Management. However, I want them to go directly to the Recordings section. This is because I've connected my Zoom account to Vimeo, so the cloud recordings should appear in my Vimeo account.Currently, the cloud recordings made by me (as the admin, using my email as the meeting host) are showing up in Recordings and also in my Vimeo account. I would greatly appreciate guidance on how to make all cloud recordings go directly to the Recordings section and still appear in Vimeo.

Any help would be appreciated. So i have a zoom account and in the web portal i have "allow host and participant to annotate while screen sharing". When i start meetings as the host on my mac, my participants can annotate my screen when i share it. I recently bought a samsung galaxy tab S9 FE, and when i start a meeting as host on my tablet and share my screen my participants cannot annotate ( i can confirm this is true, since i joined the meeting with my mac as the participant and theres no annotate option 😞 ) Any help would be appreciated 

We had a bug with a meeting for 2 of our clients to join.Both users joined at the set meeting start time but did not see each other.There was a user who used the link join host and attended the meeting for 20 minutes but no one has joined, then I saw the file recording.But for normal link join users, they said they have joined the meetings 2 minutes ago and waited but no one has joined. Has anyone encountered and known the cause of this case?   Thanks,  

Want to schedule recurring meetings for months (or year) at a time using the same link AND automatically recording to the cloud. How can we do this? 

Hopefully I'm posting in the right place. I'm a complete newbie here.I'm trying to start an online consulting business... one-on-one chat between myself & my clients. I have Sessions from Zoom which I think provides this capability. I'm trying to set up an online calendar where clients can choose a meeting time & submit a request. I've got the Zoom calendar set-up with default working hours in my time zone, so far so good.Here's the problem. I want to show "Busy" for times I have other appointments (non-Zoom, things like doctor appts, etc.) so they show as "Not available" in the online Zoom calendar. I use a Mac & iPhone with Apple's iCal. My iCloud calendar is fully working. I realize that Zoom won't sync directly with iCal or iCloud calendar, but it WILL sync with Exchange, 365, or google calendar. So what I'm trying to do is sync my Apple/iCloud calendar with one of those 3rd party services, and then sync that 3rd party (google or Microsoft) wi
