After a recent update, when I clicked on the web page for open zoom as usual, It crashes immediately, and I am not sure it sends anything to Zoom!  This forced me onto browser zoom, which worked fine.  I uninstalled it and re-installed it with "Software", and now it still crashes, but I have two Zoom's in "Show Applications", one with a newer Icon that works and one with the old icon that, when you "Show Details", pops up in "Software" with "Sorry! There are no details for that application.", so the "Software" uninstall is a bit broken.  I can start zoom from "Show Applications" using the newer icon, 5.13.3 (651), even though it still crashes off the browser startup.  Maybe it will crash when I join a meeting! Will this get fixed?  Which zoom file where should I remove to clean up my system? /var/lib/snapd/desktop/applications/zoom-client_zoom-client.desktop seems to be a new file. I joined a zoom meeting; which was being recorded prior to my entry into the meeting; and I want the recording to be deleted. I have already asked the meeting organizer to delete my recording; they never responded; but, I don't trust them.How can I inform "Zoom the company" to delete the recording? (meeting took place about 4 days ago, not years ago, just a few days ago).

I have had a Workplace Pro subscription for years now, and just upgraded to a new Mac. Now the zoom app doesn't recognize that I have a Pro subscription and is limiting my meetings to 40 minutes. It is insisting I upgrade to Pro, but I already have it.   Zoom refuses to let me talk to a human, so I am screwed.   Can someone please help me?!  This is a business for me, and as a result I may need to switch to a different video service!   Thank you!!!!!!

Hi folks My Zoom account is linked to my FB and YT pages, however I find the way to set up a scheduled livestream difficult to understand. Sure, there are the links you can use in the Zoom panel to stream (via the three dots), but if you want to schedule a stream, that's where it gets confusing, at least to me. That's because on the Webinar In-Session Settings tab for webinars, you can choose between 'Use Zoom web settings' or 'Customize settings below'.  I try to set up the latter - but you can only do it once, so I do it for FB.  That means I can't set up the stream to YT.   Plus the 'Connect video source' indicator on FB remains off. Obviously if there is no stream at that time then it might do that - but I have no way of knowing if the stream will work or not. Or am I misinterpreting the whole thing?  Is it that I can simply rely on the Zoom web settings - because the 'in-session settings' means th

I'm having an issue with the unauthorized down-grading of software occurring on our computers. In particular it seems that a recent change in the Zoom software has caused an incompatibility with all current Zoom meetings using software versions below 5.16. Unfortunately, we previously had version 5.15 which would not allow us to join these previously attended/scheduled meetings. The current software version is 6.1, which allowed us to re-login and attend the meetings, but then it was mysteriously just defaulted back to version 5.15 after an apparent forced downgrade.  We are on Windows 10, it seems folks in our group who has Windows 11 does not have this issue?

dear support, I got 3003 error when tried to cancel a recursive meeting in outlook which was created by our service account, but I can cancel occurrence one while cannot cancel the series one. please help.

I need your help with the following, I am the Zoom account holder and host of a very important meeting tomorrow - Wednesday 14th of August at 12pm EST.I've tried to assign a co-host because I am in the Caribbean right now and we are under threat of a tropical storm and I might lose power.I am trying to assign to "EDIT" the meeting and add my friend, but I get an error message saying: "Unable to assign XYZ.com as an alternative because the user cannot be selected at this time."Can you help please?Thank you!

Hello, My personal meeting ID link is sent to all my clients.  In the past, I would open the Zoom app, enter the Zoom room, and my clients would enter the waiting room and I'd let them into the Zoom meeting.Now, when I enter into the Zoom room I get an email that my clients are in the waiting room but not in the same meeting.  Supposedly, when I open Zoom app and enter a meeting, it is NOT the same meeting as the personal meeting ID I've sent to all my clients.  I have copied and pasted my zoom personal meeting ID link and put it in the weekly therapy invitations.  This has always worked in the past without fail.Now that I have a new Zoom account, this isn't the case.How do I enter into my personal meeting id link from my zoom app?  How do I configure my zoom app to always be my personal meeting ID that is listed in the web portal?I hope you can help because I spent 2 weeks in communication with a Zoom repr

I run language classes online with a variety of clients. Although I am signed up and subscribed to Zoom Workplace, they are not. Is there a way for my clients to view their continuous meeting chat, without requiring them to take out a subscription to Workplace?

Anyone else missing the 'meet anytime' option on thier recurring meetings dropdown on the Zoom Desktop app and sick of havng to log into their browser to arrange this feature? yes me too! Leave a comment below stating 'bring it back' to get the developers to reinstall it ahead of the next app update!

How do I disable the new Tabs, or merge them into one, so I can see the shared screen & the participants at the same time, like before?

Hello, I’m currently using Zoom on the free plan while determining if it meets our needs. I’m trying to schedule a meeting that requires registration, but I haven’t been able to find this option despite following the guidance I’ve seen, including scheduling directly on zoom.us. I’ve tried logging in from different computers, but the option still doesn’t appear. When schedulling a meeting directly through Google Calendar using the Zoom for Google Workplace Add-on, and when adding video conferencing to the meeting, there is not an option to add an already existent link - is this possible to change through settings or it's not technically possible?   Eg. someone creates a zoom link directly through the app, that I then want to add to a calendar event but the add-on doesn't allow me to - it just creates a new zoom link without allowing edition.

When I schedule a new meeting and provide email addresses for my attendees, I expect them to get a robot-generated email invitation. They do not. And when I select "iCal" under "Calendar", I expect them to get a calendar invitation. They do not. Why? Might I have missed a critical preference setting or option?   How can I troubleshoot this?   I’m using the current latest Zoom version on MacOS Sonoma 14.1.1.

The blue start and stop is not working on trimming a recording. It is trimming the wrong portion or not doing it all. I do not see any videos on how to properly trim a recording. I just need to trim off the end of the recording and if I use the blue sliders it is only keeping that portion that I wanted to remove. Also AI support does not how to answer that question. 

Hi, I have scheduled a meeting VIA Microsoft Bookings with someone, but was never sent a link. I had a previous meeting through the same site this morning and when the time came, a link was never given and I ended up missing the meeting so I know that the link will not be provided upon meeting time. I have tried talking to your AI robot thing to help me with this problem but that just made everything worse and now I think I might be crazy. I did get a confirmation email about booking, but there is no link or directions. Please help me before I lose my ever-loving mind. How do I join my meeting tomorrow?

I'm trying to use Keynote or PowerPoint slides as a virtual background for a meeting.When I try to load the slides, I get a message reading: Unable to import <slide-deck>.How do I fix this problem?I'm running Mac OS Sonoma 14.2.1, Keynote 13.1, and Zoom 5.16.10.The troubleshooting steps are to restart Keynote and open the slide deck in Keynote, but these steps are not helping.

Hi there, We have 7 users on our work account—1 owner and 6 members, all of whom are licensed. However, when scheduling meetings from the owner's account, I'm only able to schedule for 3 of the users instead of all 7. Does anyone know how to resolve this so that I can schedule meetings for all users? Thanks in advance!

As host when I share a video the participants hear the audio just fine but the volume is extremely low on my device even with it turned all the way up. I’m using an iPad as the host device. 

I use zoom for my church service.  If I play music through the sound system, the people in the meeting cannot hear it.  If I share my screen with my IPad, whatever is being played through the IPad cannot be heard either.Is there a fix for this?

We're facing an issue with our Zoom Marketplace app related to the OAuth flow. The app is approved and we have a redirect URI configured as beta.xyz.com. Recently, we set up a microservice to handle OAuth at a central location, and the new redirect URI is api.oauth.xyz.com/auth/zoom/callback.We also manage different environments for our clients, so their respective redirect URIs would look like client.api.oauth.xyz.com/auth/zoom/callback. We added these to the allowlist in development mode, which automatically added them to the production allowlist, but the app is still not working for our customers.I've read that if we add the root domain xyz.com, all subdomains should work for the OAuth redirect, especially since we're using Passport.js, which creates the redirect URI in  request body based on client environments.
