I need to set up a Zoom project meeting that can be used repeatedtly for a project, but the project does not have set meetings and times. Previously I was able to do this through recurring meetings but now that function needs a set date and time, can you help?

I need for people to be able to register for the meeting and for people (up to 200) to be able to ask the speaker questions at the end. What subscription do I need?

I send the invitation link to attendee but the link is not working. It's not opening.Can someone help me with this situation.Thanks

In the audio settings on mac (multiple mac versions, multiple zoom versions) under the Audio Profile if you click on "Zoom optimized audio", (Auto, Medium, and High) options seem to drop out any music that is being played as "background noise" however if you switch over to "Original sound for musicians" there is no change in the sound even through the "Zoom optimized audio" radio button is no longer selected. If you click on Auto and then switch to "Original sound for musicians" the "Zoom Optimized audio" settings are overriding the "Original sound for musicians". Whereas if you click on "Low" under "Zoom Optimized audio" then switch to "Original sound for musicians" the music being played over zoom does not seem to drop. However its unclear that "Original sound for musicians" is even working / making a difference. The "Live performance audio" also does not seem to change the audio being sent to zoom. Is it necessary to list the attendees when I set up a meeting, or can I just send everybody the link without listing them in advance? 

HelloI want to set up an "alternative" host for a meeting I cannot attend. The instructions say I need to use the Desktop app to assign an Alternative Host.  I downloaded Zoom to my laptop, but whenever I sign in, the Web version opens. Question  - Do I need the desktop version to add an alternative host?  If so, can someone tell me how to do it.  Following the directions,  I clicked "Home" and then "Schedule" - the instructions said to open "Advanced Options," but I could not find it.  I welcome any help you can give me!!Thank you.Ann

Hi I am managing a regular monthly zoom meeting, and I want my participants to re-register every month to enter the monthly meeting. can you please suggest how i can do it? thanks

Whenever I press the screenshare button, it shows only 3 options in the drop-down; photos, website URL and whiteboard. It is a nuisance since I cannot share the files of whiteboard to others.

If surround sound is enabled in Windows audio settings, for example, 5.1 surround sound, which includes a center speaker and two surround speakers in addition to the main left/right speakers, all the meeting audio output will come from every speaker in the system simultaneously. I suppose this is fine for those who enjoy being yelled at from all directions at the same time by a single person speaking, but I would imagine, not so for most. The only workaround known to exist is to revert back to stereo audio in windows audio settings, but this is terribly inconvenient for those of us who use surround audio for other purposes, especially if it's a tool we use for our jobs because we need to remember to re-enable surround audio after every meeting. Does anyone know why the size of the recording files  of a meeting would suddently be two or three times as many megabytes as previously? I have a one hour meeting that I record weekly, it is usually around 230 to 270 MB when I download it afterwards. Two weeks ago I noticed it was 492 MB, and just this past week it was 745 MB. Still just a 1 hr meeting. Does anybody know why the size of the file would be so much bigger?

We are experiencing recurring technical issues with the Zoom platform that are significantly impacting our educational sessions. Hello All, I'm trying to automate the Zoom VDI Plugin installation through Intune and I was wondering if there is a way to check if there is an ongoing meeting prior to the install. I noticed that on the desktop app, while a meeting is ongoing the process CptService.exe is running and when the meeting is closed, the process also disappears. This is not the case with the VDI Plugin - CptService.exe is running all the time. Is there another way to check if there is an ongoing meeting prior to the installation? Thanks.

Our users are getting the following message when trying to use the latest Zoom desktop app -Zoom is no longer supported in chrome  

I attended a meeting last night hosted by OncLive called Ask the Expert | Frontline Management Strategies to Improve Outcomes for Patients with Acute Myeloid Leukemia. Dr. Erba from Duke gave a great talk.  He finished and said “I’d like to take questions” .  The Onc Live moderator came on and said “Thank you Dr. Erba” and the meeting cut out and said “ The meeting was ended by the host”.  The evaluations were not made available to complete the module.  The meeting was cut out at approx. 7:25 PM by the host.  It was a session that I was being paid to attend, but I cannot claim an honorarium unless the evaluation is completed - but the host cut off the meeting before the evaluations came through the Zoom link.

I have found that the Video Panel showing my participants disappears when I start screen sharing with Optimise for Video clip and select an Entire Screen. Zoom shows a message that The video thumbnails have been minimised. This optimises performance for full-screen video sharing mode. I use a low-res display of 960x720 for dual-screen PowerPoint presentations. I have to choose Show Video Panel from the … menu. This is very inconvenient, as I have to repeat this manually whenever stopping and re-starting screen sharing. I see no mention of this feature in settings. There have never been any performance issues when sharing. What I would like is a way to avoid Zoom from auto-hiding the Video Panel. Needing to turn it back on (and resize and reposition it) each time I share during my meeting is very awkward and interrupts the meeting flow.

When I attend a meeting, or when I host a meeting, I would share my screen from time to time. Out of 5 meetings I have attended in the past couple days where I have to share my screen, 4 of them, the participant window disappears as I start sharing, and I cannot retrieve the participant window. This happens regardless I am the host of the meeting or not.  Evidently, this has happened to three of my colleagues as well! I see that this has been an issue mentioned in the Community in different variations. Please address this ASAP. PS. I always keep my Zoom upgraded to the latest, and this unfortunately happens more often since I upgraded Zoom Workspace this week!

Did you guys know that just because you have your account settings Auto Record - "Record meetings automatically when they start" set to ON doesn't mean your meeting will automatically record when they start?  I will be refunding my client $3,000 because I foolishly thought that if I had that setting on then it would be the default for new meetings.  Now I have no recordings for my meetings - a key deliverable to my client.  No support from Zoom.  Anyone else have this happen to them?  I'm just so curious why they would have something in your account settings APPEAR to be a universal setting when you have to SET IT AGAIN on a meeting by meeting basis.  Thoughts? 

I have excellent wifi speeds, latency, and jitter. I have fiber and I mean the numbers and connection for everything is excellent. All of my video calls, games, work, etc on every device in the house works excellent with no issues....except zoom. On multiple devices at different times it will say my Internet is unstable, it will freeze, and it will sometimes give an echo or interference that people say makes it hard to follow what I'm saying. This doesn't happen with any other app or program. It only recently (last few weeks) started this and I cannot figure out how to fix it as my Internet is fine. I use zoom almost every day so I really need to figure out a solution. Anyone have any helpful ideas? 

Just wondering if anyone experience the same thing.I installed latest version (6th if I am not mistaken, as I can not see it anymore) on my Dell Windows 10.It was starting flawsly, but it's became frozen when integrated calendar is showing.Been trying to uninstall, reinstall, updated plug-in outlook,  disable "Merge Meetings and Calendar tabs" but problem still exist.Is there any workaround n this issue?I have not tried to downgrade the version thou. Thanks and regards.

I have read the related threads on this subject and none work.We have a recurring "ghost" meeting that was set up by an employee who was let go and their account was deleted.I have the meeting ID and the link (which still works), but the meeting is not in Google Calendar or in my Admin Group previous Zoom meetings. iCal sync is not on. We don't currently use Zoom Rooms, I can't find this meeting but it exists. Why isn't there a super admin account that can delete or reassign any meeting in our org? This is basic account administration in most apps we use.
