I want to change my user name WITHOUT signing in, on my iPad. How can I do this? I recently uninstalled the app and reinstalled it, and now I have to change my name every time. It did not used to be this way. I do tech support sessions by clicking on a meeting link.  My name is NOW coming up as the name of my iPad.  This is not correct.  It USED to join the meeting (without me having to sign in) and have the correct name.  Is this no longer possible??

I regularly use zoom for work and have for three years with little issue.Generally, my boss shares his screen so I can have remote access to do our work. He would also share his computer's sound so I can hear all of the audio that we are editing.Recently, he claims the share sound option has disappeared when he shares his screen. And that as soon as he hits the green "share screen" button, it immediately begins sharing and does not allow him to choose a screen to share or hit the checkbox to share his computer audio. I can hear him just fine, just not his computer sound. (As it is, I can only hear his computer audio as it comes out of his speakers and then back through his microphone, so the sound is very inconsistent for me and is sometimes completely silent.) It's difficult for me to troubleshoot the issue for him as I cannot see his screen when he shares it, therefore I'm not entirely sure what the issue is that he's facing, othe

Hi, I urgently want to switch off the follow mode of my camera in Zoom Meeting on my iPad. The instructions on the zoom website do not work as there is no ‘Deactivate follow mode’ button.Can anyone help?

It is absolutely unacceptable that Zoom still causes persistent microphone lockouts across Windows 11 systems. This is not a rare edge case—it’s a widespread, repeatable issue where Zoom seizes exclusive control of the microphone and fails to release it, effectively breaking microphone functionality across all other applications. This includes critical tools like Discord, OBS, game chat, and even native system utilities. I see how to schedule a meeting every other week, but I want to schedule a meeting for the first and third Thursdays of every month. For months with five weeks (Like September) the every other week option won't work. Can I schedule for the first and third of the month or do I need to set up two meetings, one for the first and one for the third? THANKS!!

Hi, We are facing issues with the zoom link  each time we reschedule a meeting.When a recurring meeting instance is rescheduled few times, the zoom link gets invalid. Others facing this issue too ? any fix from zoom ? We would expect that when a meeitng is rescheduled, the link automatically updates and works for new instance too. thanks.

For our account, we have native Recording and Transcription disabled, unless pre-authorized, due to our very strict security and legal policies. We just learned that an Otter.AI bot, used by an external user, auto joined a call (Hosted by us) as 'user_otterpilot'. Once the meeting was over, the full transcript of the meeting was emailed to all users on the invitation - based on integration with the external users calendar.  When the Otterpilot AI is recording/transcribing, the Host and all attendees are unaware that this meeting is being recorded.  Does anyone know how we can block these bots from joining our internal calls?  All IP's are different and I can't find out what domain the account is using to attempt blocking that way.  Thanks!

I recently upgraded to a new Macbook Pro with Monterey, and since then Zoom has been giving me problems with the webcam I use for my home office. I use a Logitech c922 camera with the LogiTune software to crop the camera to focus only on a part of my home office background. However, every time Zoom grabs camera access (including starting a meeting, turning the camera on and off, or even going into video preferences), it treats it as if I am using the default camera settings, ignoring the LogiTune setup. I can restore the settings by going back to the LogiTune setup process (at which point Zoom recognizes the settings I put in beforehand), but I don't want to be showing my full background for the first 10-15 seconds of each meeting I have. This is also *only* a Zoom problem -- all other applications that use the camera accept the LogiTune settings without issue. I've Upgraded to large meeting to increase meeting capacity will my scheduled meetings update automatically? How can I check whether the meeting that is scheduled has large meeting capacity applied it? It's for an event that is happening in 2 hours. 

I've noticed with the most recent update that meeting invitations are no longer successfully copying. There is a "copy invitation" tab like before, but it fails to actually copy (I usually paste the copy into emails). I can manually copy the meeting link, but that doesn't contain the meeting date & time details. Very annoying. Does anyone who a fix? Thanks.

OS: Kubuntu (Linux), fully updated Since I updated to Zoom version 6.4, it crashes when I try to launch it.  It takes 3 or 4 tried before it finally launches. I clicked the notification to update it to  6.4.6, but my browser opens to a file on my system, and shows nothing but code. Any idea what I can do about the crashing issue and/or getting Zoom updated?

My director wants to assign scheduling privileges and alternative host ability to me using her pro account. Do I need to be a paying user? I have a basic account.

Hi, When I open the Meeting tab on my Zoom account, I do not see my recurring meetings anymore, but a blank page instead. Yesterday everything worked fine.Can anyone help fix the problem? I was not able to get an answer from the chatbot.

 過去にWebブラウザからZoomに一度参加したところ、次回からは招待リンクを開いて自動的にブラウザで参加してデスクトップアプリの参加がなくなってしまいました。ミーティングIDとパスコードでの入室は可能ですが、リンクから直接参加はできません。 「ブラウザから参加する」を解除していますが、自動的にブラウザから参加します。「会議を起動」のページはもう消えているので解決方法を教えてほしいです。

Is there any information on when we can expect the iOS Zoom app icon to be updated to support the new dark mode for icons that launched in iOS 18? At this point it is one of only two apps left on my entire phone that haven’t updated their icons. For such low hanging fruit, I wouldn’t have thought it would take this long. 

I feel like this is a new feature because I never had this issue before.I have speaker events and trainings that I schedule whether through Zoom or Google calendar directly. Many times I use the same zoom link for a prep-call or as a separate invite for speakers/external trainers (to prevent sharing internal attendee info etc).Lately when I do this, the title in Zoom updates to what was put in Calendar. Example attached in Pics!The meeting in zoom is automatically titled whatever the last meeting was titled for. How do I prevent this? I do not want the over all meeting title to change because when we go to retrieve reports from Zoom it is difficult to find the right meeting.

When i click on zoom it doesn't work.a message appears saying that the zoom has an older version not supported anymore by my systems on my amazon fire 10 tablet device or something. What's the deal with this?

Is there a way to  set the number of choices selected in a multiple choice poll? I am a professional parliamentarian, and I work with a number of groups that could use polls for online elections (such as for at large positions on Boards of Directors) if there was an option to limit the number of nominees for whom a member may vote. Example: there are five nominees for three slots. So on the "ballot" (poll), there are five names, and participants may vote for up to three. Currently, it appears that the only options are to vote for one, or for as many as you want.

Hello, I am using watermark during meetings so each attendee sees his e-mail address as watermark on the meeting screen. But when attendees are watching zoom cloud recording of the same meeting, they do not see watermark anymore. Is there a way to show watermark on recordings too?If not, is there some chance to make it harder for viewers to share recordings when they capture them with screen recording? Meetings downolading is set as off for all except host in my settings. Thank you for some advices.

Hello, I am the secretary of an association, and for some time now we have been organising meetings on Zoom for members during which an expert gives a lecture, always using Power Point.Unfortunately, a problem occurred during the last lecture: I started the recording, the speaker's presentation was shared and we all watched it, and some participants asked questions. When the meeting was over, the programme processed everything and saved it locally (a choice made for all recordings).I checked the result, but while the voice was completely recorded, my desktop always appears in the video, only at the end does the last slide of the presentation show up.I ask you what could have happened, we have another meeting next week and I would like to understand what to do.Thank you

Can I host 1 meeting on 1 place and host again another meeting to another place with another laptop using only 1 account at the same time?Is it possible to do this? I'm thinking to lend my account to one of my colleagues.And if possible, is there a specific type of account to use?If there should be an alternative host for the other meeting, should the alternative host have the same account type(Pro,Business,etc)?
