Hi Everyone! So, I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced this... I'm an instructor and I was hoping my students would be in specific groups for the whole term. I randomly generated them and then made pre-assigned breakout rooms with 5-6 participants each. I don't know if it's because I'm using a Chromebook or what, but I was unable to use the preassigned rooms... the option just never showed. But that should be ok, right? My students know which groups their in so they can just join. Wrong, I also don't have the option to let them join rooms on their own.  I'm kind of at a loss. Does anyone have a recommendation? 

So when I play a sound file I can hear it but the person at the other end of the zoom can't,  My laptop  is  editing out the sound presumably to avoid feedback etc.Can anyone tell me what I need to do the enable my soundfiles to be heard?Thanks

the session was going well when suddenly I could no longer hear my student . she ended the meeting and came in on her phone. we had the same problem. She could hear me but I couldn't hear her...it was quite stressful. Please help if you have resolved this problem 🙂

Hello, As an educator, I have multiple permanent students as contacts. They write whatever they want in the profile which makes it really hard for me sometimes to locate them and to remember what it is that they are learning with me. On Skype, I can mark students with names that I recognize and useful details straight in their profile name for my display. I expected this feature to become perhaps available when I upgraded, which doesn't seem to be at all an option on zoom.Is this in the works ? As I'm sure it would be highly valuable to those of us with many permanent contacts. Many thanks,Maria.

When I signed out of the personal zoom account and want to log into the school account for the first time, I keeps redirecting to the page shown above. I don't know what's wrong.

My mom's telehealth assessment can be done with the assessor using Zoom for Healthcare.  Does it work if she just has the free basic (i.e. unpaid) Zoom, and is that secure then, in the way that Zoom for Healthcare is supposed to provide?

I have received for multiple meeting invites for my scheduled classes( daily 7-8 meetings) .These are daily scheduled classes .These invites send by different people.How I can add these meeting to zoom so I can easily open zoom app and login in my laptop .

Hi there. I have been using power point to teach online with zoom for quite sometime now and I have started to run into  the following issue: My students are saying that the bottom end of the slides, when I am using the full screen presentation mode, are not displaying correctly. Basically anything that it is near or at the lower end of the slide is cut off and they are not able to read. Anyone has had this issue? I have toyed with PP and zoom setups to no avail.Thanks in advance.Marcio

I have a teacher that has shared her screen with the student and then played a video. The student can hear her just fine talking no issues at all, as soon as she plays the video for him to see, he cannot hear the video or it is very quite. For her it is blasting so loud. I also tried this with her and had the same issue her sharing screen and me not being able to hear the video but can hear her talking just fine. Is anybody else having this issue? 

I would like to know if there is some way to see join/leave times in a graph/chart form after my meeting is over. For teachers, this would be extremely helpful. It's often necessary to see when participants first arrived and whether they left early. I know that you can download a spreadsheet of the join/leave times from Reports->Usage Reports on the zoom.us website. However, this data is difficult to read and is not convenient for someone who wants to quickly see when participants joined and left. Is there such an app that creates a chart of join/leave times for the meeting creator to see afterwards? Hello,I wanted to create a Zoom account using one of my other Google-associated emails. But I indicated that I was an "Educator", but I realized it wasn't what I meant. But now, it takes me to a page that asks me to provide Educator information for an organization and I cannot do anything: cannot sign in, cannot even delete my account to start over. Every time I "log in", I'm taken to that page and cannot go any further. Please help.

Hello.  I have a surface pro 7 and a teacher windows desktop computer.  I open up Zoom as the host on my teacher desktop, and share in the invite link to my surface pro.  Then, I share my screen from the surface pro (so students can see what I write/draw/etc on my Surface Pro - such as equations or graphs).  Using the host teacher desktop computer, I record the Zoom session so that students can go back and rewatch lectures (or watch them if they are absent).  I also have a webcam attached to the teacher desktop computer, so students watching the video can see my gestures, activity demos, etc.  When going back and watching the video, the video of me is very very small - so small that you can barely even see what's going on in the video.  My hypothesis is that because the surface pro is the presenter (the one sharing the screen), Zoom thinks that it should be the active speaker.  But I want to screen grab the surface pro and record video from

Mr. Ms. As you may have already heard, a vulnerability called Log4j has been discovered. We are busy asking suppliers (organizations) whether their software contains vulnerabilities, so that we can patch the software. My question is, does your software contain vulnerabilities? Hi everyone,I'm an online teacher and recently (since 3 days ago) I'm experiencing the following problem:- My school's email account on zoom shows a delay of 10 seconds or so on video.My audio is fine and on time, but video and screen sharing have this big delay. (which for lessons is a lot)- My personal email account didn't show this problem on my tests. - Other online meeting services didn't show this problem on my tests. My wifi connection is fine. I have updated zoom. Even deleted and downloaded it again on my MacBook pro. Does anyone have any idea what could be done?

We have some 7th grade students that are creating their own zoom session with their school Google account and inviting other students in their grade.  They are doing this on a school-owned chromebook.  Is there a way to stop or block this from happening?  Thank you!

Hi - I have bought a new imac running MAC OS Big Sur 11.5.1 and I am trying to record a Powerpoint slide lecture on Zoom for a client but it keep skipping slides on the recording. I have tried it 3 times now - I have switched off everything else I have switched the computer off and on again I have uploaded the lates version of Zoom but it still skipping slides on the recording. I have cheques my wi-fi speed which is at 37mbps. It all used to work fine on my old imac which I still have but want it to work on my new one. I bought an updated version of Powerpoint Microsoft for Macs . This is the first time I have tried to record a Zoom lecture on it. Can you help? Many thanks Catherine Wallace

I work at school in Indonesia, we have 21 classes and about 10 other special class. Each classes has 28-30 students and 5-10 student for special class.What is the best plan for our school? Is there any plan that can hosting 21+10 classes/meeting with only one account/email?

My school uses Bluejeans for remote classrooms but as an Instructor I prefer Zoom.  Can I connect the students on Bluejeans to my Zoom Room or do I need to join their bluejeans meeting room?

I teach ESL via Zoom. My students can hear me and I them without a problem. However, when I play an instructional audio on my computer, only I can hear it. Is there a way to allow my students to hear an audio file playing on my laptop?

I have set a meeting for a school meet. I am not the host. The host will be the school principal and then another member of staff will take another part of the meeting. How do I allocate host status to them.  I wont be leaving the meeting. Thanks Using Free version
