Just wanted to share this must do that most of our customers overlook when they host their meetings or webinars. 💡 Assign an Alternative Host An Alternative Host can start and end meetings without the meeting host being present. If an alternative host starts the meeting, they will become the host and have full host privileges. How to assign an Alternative Host: When scheduling a meeting or a webinar, scroll down to Options and click Show to view additional meeting options. In the Alternative Hosts field, enter the email address of the person you want to assign as an alternative host. You can add multiple email addresses separated by commas. (Note: Only licensed Zoom users can be alternative hosts.) Having an Alternative Host means: Meeting Starts on Time: If the person who scheduled the meeting (the host) is running late or unable to attend, the alternative host can start the meeting on time and ensure eve

I recently had a productive conversation with a customer, regarding optimizing his team's Zoom meeting experience. His primary focus was on robust security measures without hindering participant ease-of-access. Passcode authentication, a standard security protocol, was part of the discussion. However, the customer expressed a high interest in Zoom Meeting's Waiting Room feature, especially after experiencing it first-hand with my own scheduled meeting. This functionality empowers hosts and co-hosts to manage meeting entry while offering a valuable additional benefit: customization. This includes adding your own logo, title, and description, or a video to be watched before joining the meeting. Witnessing customers discover functionalities that exceed their initial expectations is a privilege of being a CSM. I have been going through the Zoom administrator training. Two courses I finish, get to 100% but I still told it is not complete. (Not getting the certificate of completion). I can only go back to where I felt off or start. I have gone through the section(s) a few times. My first one ad no issues. Something else I should be doing? TIA.
Apologies if this has been asked a lot - I didn't know what to search for. Our Licences are: Zoom One Business and Zoom Events. We're trying to get started on Zoom Webinars and want users to register but don't want them to have to enter One Time Passwords (OTP). Recently I attended a Webinar that looked like what we wanted. The people who arranged it sent an invite message to me. I forwarded it to some of my colleagues. We all registered. When the meeting started it said "If you are the meeting host, sign in to start the meeting XXX XXXX XXXX" and "I'm not the meeting host: Join Meeting as an Attendee". When I signed in, it asked for a code that was already on the invite. I suspect that everyone might have gotten the same code (not sure?). It was a normal event - where I was just a listener and the other organization had three speakers. Can someone please tell me which license they were probably using (I'm guessing

A client of mine that I worked with recently was a postgraduate-only school and was well-known globally for its advanced research, modern facilities, and excellent science, technology, and management programs. When the pandemic started back then, they quickly switched to using Zoom for remote teaching. But this was just the start of their creative use of the platform. The School Director decided to do it in two ways through Zoom Events. One was to make online classes feel like real classrooms. The other was to use it for marketing and teaching in a more engaging way. The reception was a success as students and teachers liked the ideas. We have licences for Zoom meetings and Zoom events. We have reocrded meetings for our zoom event and clicked on Simulive to add the video to our event. The video is unavailable and cannot be uploaded via events. Is there another way to add our videos to automatically play at a set time, or is there a way of making sure our zoom events platform and zoom meeting platforms are connected and using the same cloud?
Hello, We are trying to improve the accuracy of the transcript/Closed-captions for our students at the community college I work at. We are hoping to find a way that the instructors (hosts) do not need to go in and edit the captions themselves. We have noticed that although DSPS captioners and interpreters can become a cohost, they cannot go in and edit the transcript once class has concluded. It would be great if the instructors could have support from others to go in and edit captions to ensure they are accurate. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thank you!

We have a Z4E account and have recently heard that students are creating their own Zoom meetings and inviting other students to join. We supply all students with Chromebooks and they need to use Zoom to connect with their teachers. We've been looking for a solution that allow students to connect with their teachers but prevent student to student meetings from occurring . Thanks for any help you can provide!
I am trying to create a clip. When i click to create, it opens a new tab and takes me to an error message with 206 saying i need to be signed in. Clearly i am signed in as i am launching it. Account package gives me access to Clips Plus and it is enabled. What is going wrong?
