Whiteboard

Hello, I always record my meetings and I often use whiteboards. I like the 'Laser' in the whiteboard to temporarily hightlight some part of the whiteboard while talking and referring to the highlighted area in my speech. However, when I later check the recordings, the laser is not at all visible in the video recording. I guess this is a bug, isn't it? Regards,-Rob.

When trying to create a new whiteboard I always get the message that I have reached the limit of editable whiteboards.A check for existing whiteboards shows that there are no whiteboards in my account.The message even shows the name of a whiteboard dated in 2023, which I can’t find. All existing whiteboards should be deleted so that I can start from scratch with 3 new editable whiteboards.I need the functionality and should be able to use it with my basic account.

I went to open my WhiteBoard that I have been using for the last 6 month to organize research and now all of the sudden it won't open. I received the error message: "There is an error loading recent version of the page. Use version history to recover previous version of the page." But I have looked everywhere and I can't find a version history link or button that will do this. I have also submitted a help ticket and I have gotten zero response. Can someone please help me recover 6 months of my work??

I teach kids who need to be able to scroll without writing on the Whiteboard. I also need to be able to turn on and off their ability to write on the whiteboard. After using this feature in my online classroom for a while, it now appears to be missing. As I recall, in the past I’ve been able to simply turn off the ability for a child to write on the whiteboard: easily found and easily done. Help files direct me to the three dots (More) dropdown menu, where “disable annotation” should be one of the options. However, my “More” dropdown does not include “disable annotation.” I’ve searched every menu and control I can find without success. This feature is absolutely necessary for my daily work. 

Hello, Today I used the whiteboard feature to present a concept. When I closed it, a link was automatically sent to the chat saying "I want to share this with you". How do I disable that? I just want to use it for presenting; no editing or sharing. Thanks!

Здравствуйте! При работе использую доски, встроенные в Zoom. При истечении некоторого времени она становится доступна только для просмотра. Это происходит из-за того, что я редко в нее захожу? Или как бы часто я в нее не заходил, без подписки она всегда будет переходить в этот режим? Заранее спасибо)

Why is it I have log in again to use  a whiteboard? I'm already logged in to be in a scheduled meeting. Why isn't that sufficient?

Having same error scheduling zoom meetings too.Had reported the problem but since I'm a free user there is no support.Appreciate if someone can enlighten or help to solve the issue. The other participants can see the shared whiteboard so I'm pretty sure the issue is on my end.Had done multiples uninstalling and installing to no avail. 

When I am sharing whiteboard and editing live, participants' pen edits to my whiteboard jump from the original place the pen is placed. This issue started after I completed the latest update and is preventing my online teaching business without this functionality corrected. Has anyone else experienced this or know how to fix it?

As of today, April 24, 2024, when sharing the WhiteBoard, I can no longer see the participant video. I have been using Zoom for years and I have not had this issue until today. I can see the participant video when I am not sharing the WhiteBoard. However, if the WhiteBoard is being shared, the only video I see is the host video. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thank you.

Hi!As a techer I use classic board to write during classes. When I close it and share documents and then I go back to the board I was usin, the text I previously wrote disappeared! I also tried to save it, but still disappears.Never happened before. I wonder if you had the same pronlem and possibly consequent to a new version.It is relly annoying, because at the end of the session, before closing, I use to save the board and send it in attachment to the students.Any help? Good morning! I use Zoom in Polish and I want to continue doing so. I use Windows 11 in Polish and I want to continue doing so. I temporarily changed language to English, in order to take a screenshot of my keyboard settings. My problem is that Zoom has some sort of problem with words. I searched this issue online and found that it's usually a problem with Windows, not Zoom, but where exactly is the problem? In settings, yes but where exactly? I don't understand exactly what needs to be changed, so that Zoom and Windows understand that I don't want any word to be underlined in any language, no matter how correct or incorrect it may be in any language. See 3 screenshots. Whiteboard refuses to open as shown on the picture. Restarting and reinstalling Zoom doesn't help.

Hi, I'd like to restrict meeting attendees from creating and sharing their whiteboards. How do I set up the meeting as a host to prevent attendees from doing this? Thank you!

Previously, when I clicked on "Share Screen", it would show the different options: specific word documents, spreadsheets, webpages, etc.  Suddenly it stopped and, regardless of what I had open on my computer, it only allowed the whiteboard to be shared.  It didn't matter if I closed, opened or re-opened an application or document, the only shareable item was the whiteboard. I found that for meetings which are pre-schedule, I cannot share anything but the whiteboard.  If I want the option to share additional applications or documents, I have to create an immediate meeting by clicking on "Host A Meeting".  However, it doesn't show the specific items to share anymore - just "Word Document (1)" and "Chrome (2)".  The number reflects how many items of that application I have open.  This is also problematic because if I share, I can't go to the specific document/website, etc. immediately; it opens up that application and then I have to clic

Hello,I am having problems with allowing others to edit/access/annotate my whiteboard even it appears I have allowed all participants.  I keep getting a message that says "admin has restricted access to anyone not in my organization" but I am admin and I can find nowhere to even find this setting or change it.  I've checked every section I can find but clearly. haven't solved the problem.  Since I am the sole person on my account, it restricts everyone!Help!

Can someone please help advice where to find this magical upload button on whiteboard for a pro account?  Under account management the whiteboard upload is enabled.  Why can I not find this, am I missing something?

個人アカウントで新規にWhite Boardを作成し、共有リンクを作成しようとしましたが、なぜか私の所属が「東京都」になっており、アクセス設定が「制限あり」と「東京都 の誰でも」しか選択できず、「リンクを持つ人全員」がグレーアウトしていて選択できません。メールで共有しようと思っても、「東京都があなたの組織以外のユーザーとのコラボレーションを無効にしました」というエラーメッセージが表示されて誰にも共有することができません。他の人に共有するためにはどうしたらよいでしょうか？

ホワイトボードを使って、途中で違う画面を共有し、またホワイトボードに戻ると全記載内容が消去されています。ただ、毎回ではなく10回に1回くらいの確率で起きます。他の画面を共有する前に毎回保存するのも面倒ですし、消えてしまうと記載した内容に追記もできないので困っています、、、。

We are trying to build out lessons on the Zoomwhiteboard and would like to embed some videos and interactive sites, but we are running into an issue that one person cannot press play and everyone sees the same video/activity. Everyone needs to click play to see their own copy of the iframe. Is there a way to have everyone view/interact with the same frame.
