Whiteboard

Hi there,I couldn't use the whiteboard collaboration mode and my participants were always in the viewer mode so they couldn't write any thing on the board. There are only 2 whiteboards on my zoom and I remember as long as I don't use more than 3 whiteboards I can still use the collaboration for free.Please tell me how can I solve this problem

The new whiteboards are really cumbersome. Has any one found any tricks to make them at least partially usable?What I would like to see are;  - default to all eyes on me  - make all eyes on me sticky  - a quick way to jump back to sharing the previous whiteboard  - a quick way to create a new slide and jump to that  - a quick next slide / previous slide button. or a reliable way to force it to use the classic whiteboard. I know there are supposed to be options for that but I can not get any of them to work. Do any of the above exist? 

HiI have a membership on Zoom, but I don't purchase the whiteboard part. However, as far as I know, I can share my 3 free whiteboards with my students. However, whenever I share and choose the collaboration mode, my students are always in the viewer mode. And I used to work for an organisation and let them be the admins of my account for some months, but now I stopped completely, and I'm not sure if they can do something with my account, which may prevent this  collaboration feature.Note I'm from Vietnam. Thank you for your suggestions in advance 

I do not like the new whiteboard.  Does anyone know how to go back to classic mode?

I was happy with using former version of Whiteboard.  Now I can't do anything with new version of Whiteboard. Why don't you using select button to use old one and new one.  I am considering take off from zoom cause of this.  

After latest update, when I share a whiteboard and stop sharing to show something else whatever was written is gone. Is there a way to change that? Or is just how it is ment to be? Thnx

Hi there!I understand Zoom associate Whiteboard from my corporate account. However, my account doesn't have whiteboard capability because we don't have a OneDrive license. Could I link my corporate Zoom account with my personal account's Whiteboard?Thanks in advance!

Please help - the camera disappears when I use the wipeboard function. how do I get it back? 

I just updated to the latest version.  Now, I have a new whiteboard.  The annotation tools show up on the left-hand side for a half a second and then go away.  I have been unable to pull them back up.  I've seen a few solutions here but nothing has worked.  If there is a fix or a way to go back to classic please let me know.    Thanks!

Hello,I know, that in whiteboard, there is an undo feature, undoing the last change of myself. However, if another collaborator has done a change, is there a possibility for me, do undo this? (I am teacher, and my students are not always capable of undoing on their own). As I have the Zoom whiteboard abo, providing an activity log and version control, I first hoped, my problem should be solvable using these features. However, though I can see a log of all changes of all collaborators, I did not find out, how to undo the last change, when it is done by another collaborator... Any tips? Thank you...

Hi - i teach by logging into my zoom with my computer, and then also logging with with my ipad, giving my ipad co-host privlidges, and then using my ipad as a whiteboard (using my pen on it). Now that there is the new whiteboard, I am unable to write as I used to. When I open a whiteboard on my computer, I see a panel with options about how to write on the whiteboard, but when I open a whiteboard using the ipad, I see no such panel. What am I missing? Or is this a bug? Thanks.

HelloI frequently run training sessions online which at times involves the use of breakout rooms . I would like to be able to have a whiteboard facility in each breakout room that delegates can work on , without others seeing and then to be able to bring that whiteboard back into the main room for those involved to present to the rest of the group. Is this possible, what product do I  need (I have a Zoom One account) . This topic was raised by Starchild in the past but there were no responses. Can someone help? Thanks 

Recently Zoom was updated creating several issues for me. I have confirmed that this is not just an issue for me. All updates have been made on my end, but to no avail. Here is what is happening ... When I use the whiteboard with an Apple Pencil, I am unable to change the color simply by clicking on the color options. If I don't use my Apple Pencil, then the color change works properly. However, as soon as I use the Apple Pencil, the color pad only works fir I first click on the "T" and then back to the pencil and then to the color pad. In addition, the eraser on the whiteboard sometimes erases parts of the board that the eraser isn't even near. These issues did not occur in the past. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this?

My Feedback option is enabled on my account, but I don't have the option to provide feedback. I like the idea of Zoom Cards on Whiteboards, but the title font is too small and can't be adjusted. Will this be a future enhancement?

I use the whiteboard for online teaching. The countdown timer is a great addition and I use it all the time. But I really miss being able to add dice and die rolling to the mix. A good old 6-sided die would be great. Even better if you can combine using several at once. Am I the only one? 

My business runs on the ability for two or more participants to write on the white board at the same time. Since the update, all I get is a dysfunctional white board that I can't share with anyone. The the Bot is very dumb and can't help with any questions. In the not so distant past, I could use the share screen and click on the board, but now.. I get a one way board that won't erase or allow for any writing. I run the business exclusively on iPads and a MacBook Pro. They have worked well in the past. How do I make tis work?

Hello, We are facing a difficulty with the Whiteboard application. We created a whiteboard into our account with differents elements that we'd like to share with the participants to our meeting, while they are spread OUT into the different break out rooms.  The objective is for them to have access and be able to edit the whiteboard from the different break out rooms.But it seems that they can only create a new whiteboard within the break out room, the cannot use the one already created by our organisation. The participants are not part of our organisation and we cannot share our account with them.We would like to know if this is possible to share and edit a prepared whiteboard from the break out rooms ? and if so, which instructions should we follow ? Thank you so much in advance, CartONG

Hi,  I am new to this.  I have a chromebook and I try to run zoom on it.  I installed the app and have tried running meeting from both the browser and the app.  In both cases I have encountered one common issue that I really need help with.   When I start my meeting (being a host), I can create a new whiteboard and I can use the pen tools on the left to change pen type, color, etc which is great.  However, I found that the participants cannot write on the whiteboard. I have tried to use a window based PC to start the meeting and I think can give remote access right for the participants and they will be able to write on the whiteboard to interact with me.  How can I do this on a chromebook?   Also, a second problem is that when I close the first whiteboard, and when I create a second whiteboard, I (the host) no longer see the "pen tools" on the left and I can only move the whiteboard, and not able to write on it even

For the last few weeks, nobody else in my Zoom meetings has been able to edit the whiteboards that I share. The toolbar doesn't show up for them, so they can view the whiteboard, but they can't make marks or changes on it. I see this setting in my Zoom account for "access level" is grayed out for some reason and can't be changed to allow everyone to  be an editor. How do I fix this? 

I'm going to hold a zoom meeting for a virtual community workshop. Is it possible to use the whiteboard feature to display a city map (pdf) and allow workshop participants to place markers (preferably in 4 colors) on the map?   Thanks for your ideas.

Hello,Is there a way to reduce the size of the whiteboard in a zoom meeting? Currently, it takes up most of the screen and the images of participants are very small. I need to see the participants faces more clearly while posting information on the white board. If the white board cannot be reduced, is that an add on that will allow me to type, post images and videos in a smaller windows during a meeting? Thank you

I have a meeting scheduled where the cohost would like to setup a whiteboard in advance of the meeting. How do I give them access prior to starting the meeting?
