As a regular host of Webinars with up to 3000 attendees, I recently logged into on of our webinars on my mobile device to check the 'attendee view'. Most of our customers join on a mobile. My view as an attendee was 2 very small tiles at the top of the screen (Iphone 12) and I could not change the view on my device. As the host, I had 2 panellists spotlight side by side, and no matter what combinations of 'views' i tried from the top right, I couldn't change the format for the attendee... to make the panellists fill the screen. See attached screenshots.... Please help!
As an Admin, I create a webinar with "only authenticated user can join" enabled, and registration required is also enabled. Let's say there are two zoom accounts, a@mail(Participant A) and b@mail (Participant B) Participant A does registers for that webinar and gets an invitation URL (unique URL) and Participant B doesn't register for that webinar. Participant A shares his invitation URL with Participant B. When participant B tries to join the webinar using the shared URL, He needs to log in and log in using his email (b@mail). And turn out, Participant B successfully join the webinar even if he login using his account/email(b@mail) and the Participant A invitation URL (invitation with a@mail). Is it expected behavior? It seems that "Only authenticated user can join the webinar" is not validate the email of the signed user if the user using the invitation URL (unique URL) to join the webinar.
Is it possible to recover any of the Q&As that were asked during a webinar? The webinar was not recorded.
Hi to everyone.I need to set up the zoom events live transition on Facebook
Hi everyone ! I need the interpretation options for our next webinar. But the pro account is to expensive for our NGO, we would like to know if it's possible to take the account only for one event or for one month. Is there a possibilty to have the interpreation only for one webinar? Have a great day 🙂Nadine
Is it possible to create a registration form without setting an exact date? I want to let people register, and when I see enough participants, I set the date.
If you increase the webinar license capacity will that increase apply to webinars already scheduled but have not yet occurred?
Hi there, I will be hosting a webinar soon with approximately 200 participants. The webinar will be recorded via cloud recording on Zoom. The recording will be shared to the registered participants for a limited time. Is there a way where I can upload the registered participant list so that only those who signed up have access to the recording? I understand that there is the "View recording on demand" option. That said, I don't think I can choose the "Automatically approve" option since anyone (even those who did not register) can get a hold of the shared link and watch the recording once they register. On the other hand, I don't think I can manage this manually due to the number of participants. Are there any other options available? It would be great if I can upload an attendance list and/or the participants' emails and only when they use those specific identifications can they access the recording. Any help is greatly appreciated!
My account has two webinar licenses. I need to upgrade one to accommodate more participants, but I want to leave the other at the lower level. I can't figure out how to do this through the billing page in Zoom. Any advice?
How do you hide the chat and the Q&A from all except the host?
Hi there, When we're running webinars, we want to control when attendees can join or be allowed in. Typically, our panelists join the webinar 15 mins before and share notes to prepare for the webinar before it starts. Some attendees join early and see this. It looks unprofessional. Therefore, how do I control when a attendee can access webinar? ThanksEd
If we set a registration limit for a Webinar and attendees join with multiple devices does that take up additional registration spots? So if someone registers and joins on a laptop and also joins with their iPad does that take up 2 registration spots?
I am hosting a webinar, but when the attendee tries to join, the page asks them if they are the host. Underneath, in smaller font, it asks if they are an attendee. It seems if they are the attendee, the default 'join' button would be more straight forward and clear. Is there a way to edit? thank you!
For some reason, my Zoom webinar registration page is pre-filled with the details of one of the presenters. Why is this? How can I make this blank for registrants??
Hi zoom community,I have a question about customizing webinar registration. My organization presends workshop for Pharmacists.Credit will be given to pharmacist who attend the workshop, but it must be recorded that they have attended.but If someone registers using another person's email address, the information previously registered using that email address will be overwritten. Is there a way to alert someone when someone registers an email address that is already registered ?
I will be hosting a 4 day event/webinar. Each day will be a day-long session, however, there will be a long 2 hr break in the middle of each day. My question is, can I , as the host, end the meeting (for the break) and use the same link to reconnect and resume the webinar session after the break each day? Or would ending the meeting for all close the event definitely? Should I schedule another ocurrence to connect after the break or is the link valid throughout the duration of the event (4 days) if scheduled as a recurrent webinar and the host and attendees can use it to connect as many times as necessary within that scheduled time-frame even if the host ends the meeting for the break?
We've registered an event for webinar start and end.Though we receive webhook calls from zoom but we do not receive any data parameters. The webhook is added along with the OAuth from Feature section.I will post the details in case required.
Good morning, I would like to ask some information about the Zoom Webinar and Zoom Events products. Are the live transcripts generated by the system, which understands what is being said and writes it down? Can they be downloaded at the end of the webinar? Are webinar recordings saved in an online cloud, do they download automatically onto the organizer's device, or do you have to download them manually? Is there a certain amount of cloud space included in the plans or does it have to be purchased separately? Can one set up personalized registration and follow-up emails, with questionnaires and links? Are there post-webinar reports to download, e.g., on the number of registrants and the number of actual attendees with relevant contact information? Are live chat and instant surveys included in both plans?Do subscribers to a webinar need to download the Zoom app to participate?Thank you, Elena
Hello everyone, We have set up a recurring webinar for our customers. Now we had to change the date of one of our webinars. The problem we are facing now is that our attendees were not informed about the change and have the wrong blocker in their calendars. Does anyone know how we can inform the already registered participants about the change so that the calendar blocker also changes?Thank you, Laura
Hello all, I'm new to the Community and hoping I might find an answer to my issue.I have run a number of webinars, and notice on the post event attendee reports, that some of the attendees' approval status is showing as "denied" even though they registered and attended, and were there for the duration. Can anyone shed any light on why this might be happening please? The majority show as approved. Thanks if anyone can help - it's just one of those annoying little issues I need to understand 🙂 Roz
I recently ran a webinar and created a survey using Zoom. I have just extracted the report to get the results and have seen that the results have been anonymised. This has not happened before as used quite a few times and always get the person's name who gave us the feedback. In our survey we had a few people asked for us to contact them but, can't do this if anonymised. How do you stop this? The survey didn't give them an option to remain anonymous so it is weird this has happened.
I will have 2 panelists that will share there screen at different times. What is the correct setting under My Settings, Meeting Basic. Under Screen Sharing there are two options: Host Only or All Participants this info comes up but not clear what selection should be"For webinars, the hosts and panelists can start screen sharing, but not the attendees" TIA
What is the simplest way to find the closest area code to help a webinar or meeting attendee join via phone? People basically have to go look up which area codes belong to which states, then figure which is closest to them. Is there a simple map somewhere?
Hi there Can we turn off the request for name and email before joining a webinar?I am not talking about the 'registration not required' option as I have done that, rather where someone from outside the organisation clicks the link and they are asked to provide their name and email before joining - can we turn that off?We are hosting for a third party who do not want ANY names/emails captured, anywhere along the process of joining, for GDPR reasons. Thanks in advance for any help you can give! David.
Hello. Is it possible for me to record a webinar, share the recording at a later date and require that people register in order to see the recording? This way I do not have to do a live webinar every time I want to provide the content. I can simply share the webinar recording with people who have registered.
