Hi, I would like to use a pre-recoded webinar/ Zoom meting for my webinar and then at the end go for a live Q/AIt means the first part (the presentation) of my webinar is recorded and the Q&A will be live My questions are Can I use Zoom meeting recordings for the pre-recorded beginningHow can I play the recording during the live webinarHow do I switch form the recorded part to the live Q&A at the end of the recording. Many thanks, Kind regards, Josephine

I would like to play a pre-recorded video file into a webinar live. How can I do it seemlessly, so the participants will not notice it is a pre-recorded video?  Should I open a video player and share my screen (as a host) before the webinar start? or any better way to start the webinar? Regards,Rebecca214

Honestly don't even know if chat was on, if it has to be enabled or anything...  Just curious from the attendees' perspective was there a chat option and did anyone utilize it.  Want to make sure I respond to any chats if they happened..

Last year when using Webinars I could see the list of Attendees while I was in a practice session prior to opening the webinar. When testing my set up this year, I don't seem to be able to see the attendees until I start the webinar. Sometimes I want to promote an attendee to panelist before the webinar starts but I can't do that if I can't see who is waiting for the session to start. Has this changed? Can I no longer see Attendees waiting for the webinar to start? If it was changed, why? It was very useful seeing who and how many were waiting for the webinar to start.

I just saw that Zoom did not send out the usual 24 hour reminder message to webinar participants. Somehow the settings got changed or I did not create the webinar from my template. So I have to send it manually. But I also found out that I can't send a message to participants on Zoom. I can't even resend people's confirmation e-mails, well I could, but we have 400 registrants and Zoom makes me wait 60 seconds after sending 11 of them, so it would take an excrutiating half an hour, and even then it would send the wrong message 'you have confirmed' not '24 hour warning'. And I can't download the registrant list before a webinar. So I had to scrape all the names off the registrant list, tidy up the columns, load it into bulk e-mailing software, and send a message to everyone, but even then I had to say, the link to login is not in this message, you should get it from zoom one hour before.  So I feel like Zoom designers are almost going out of their way to  make my life more diff

We have a huge online event this upcoming Sunday and I had made the webinar link.But when it clicked, it says "Unable to join this webinar. The webinar has expired. (Error Code : 3038)"But in my reserved webinar list, this webinar room exists.Does anyone know how to solve this situation?  

I can't find how to record the Q&A of a webinar. Zoom records the close captions, the chat, audio, video, but does not seem to record the Q&A. 

While running a practice session today, my co host clicked the Start Webinar button.  The webinar is not until next week so will the webinar link that was sent to the registrants still work?  

Hi there! We've been using EventBrite integration with Zoom Webinar since May. We had not been having any real issues, until last week. For our event last week and this week,  when people go to the event page, and select "Join Now", it will default to streaming the Webinar within their browser. Either there will be no picture, or there will be the video with no sound. If they exit and go back to the event page and select "Open in Zoom", then it opens the Zoom application and works. This streaming within the browser seems to be new, as we did not run into this issue previously. We are afraid that we are losing attendees as a result as they just give up. Has anyone else run into this issue and if so, how did you resolve it?

Could you tell me if a Panelist in a Zoom Webinar needs to have a Zoom license?Thanks a lot

We have an event with 220 attendees and want to have 8 Facilitators with 5 breakout rooms each.  If we give each Facilitator Admin rights, can we have all 8 sessions running at the same time on the same Zoom account?We are planning to pre assign the break out rooms so once they are in their room, the Facilitator will be able to move them in and out of their breakout rooms. Would they all have to be on separate links? Would we be able to then bring them altogether in one main room or would they need to leave their previous meeting to come back to the main one?  Is this how you would set it up? I'm open to feedback on the best way to do it. We want to minimise the time it takes moving people in and out of rooms. 

We have a webinar where we share some information as a comment. The comment gets lost in the sea of text in a webinar with a lot of attendees. We wish to PIN the comment in the comment box. Attendees should not have the right to unpin the comment.  How can we achieve this? Kindly guide.

Upcoming Webinars empty for user that had Webinar license removed and added back. They are an alternate host, so I resent invitation from User Admin and they accepted, but is still not showing for them in their Zoom dashboard. 

Hello All,  Does Zoom offer any type of General or Professional Certifications ?  I haven't been able to find anything. I work in my university's IT department and would like to be able to better help our Zoom users and if had some credentialsthat would lend more to my perceived value to them.  I was thinking in the area of Meetings and Webinars. Maybe that is too rudimentary for Certifications but I thought i would at least ask.  Thanks, Glenn  

Hey all -- my webinar registration page link has an attendees name/email autopopulated, so when you click the registration page URL it comes up with this guys name/email already in the fill in fields.   How to remove this??

Hi guys,  thanks for all of the help so far... just a few more questions before my event in a couple of weeks. I've changed the workshop sessions which require breakout rooms from webinars to meetings.  Is there a way to add a waiting room for the meetings?  What's stopping people from arriving in the room before the speaker is ready?  I understand that with webinars you have backstage so you can get everyone ready before clicking start webinar, but I can't see that there's the same functionality with a meeting.  Can you make an announcement to the lobby in an easier way than broadcasting from a session?   Re breakout rooms, do I "the host" or an alternate host put people into rooms or does the speaker need to do it? If you have multiple polls in one session, should you be able to just display one, and then the next one will automatically appear?  I've created a couple, but when I click polls in the practice session it co

Hello,  I did 2 webinars this week, and each time, all the participants were having exactly the same name and email adress .. How is it possible ? 

Suddenly, there are black boxes over the participant names in a webinar I'm watching. I do not have the 'hide names' box checked and can't figure out how to get rid of the black boxes... it's super distracting.

We're having an issue where webinar presenters are showing up as small squares when the webinar is viewed on a phone. I've verified this on both an iPhone13 and iPhone SE. What happens is a single presenter takes up the whole screen as expected. As soon as a second presenter joins both of the presenter screens go from 16:9 to 1:1 and there is empty space on about 1/3 of screen. If one of the presenters leaves, the single presenter who is remaining is still in a square and now about 2/3 of the screen is black. Everything looks fine in the desktop environment and on a tablet. Almost all of my users are joining from a phone though so this is a big problem. The picture attached shows what I mean.  

How do I brand a registration page for On demand webinars (accessing the recording of the webinar). I can't see any branding options, which isn't great...?

I have scheduled a webinar and I am unable to edit it or view registrations? HAs anyone had this issue please & how can I resolve?

Hello! We have a happy problem — we have an event with 30 webinars starting tomorrow through the weekend. We have a license for 1000 participants but we're close to selling more tickets than that. Usually not everyone comes at once (we offer recordings). But I need to know if I change to a 3000 person webinar license, do all the current links break? Thank you!
