Hi,  I am recently getting unfiltered Zoom phone calls from unknown random numbers. I would expect these calls should be answered by someone before it comes to me. How can the settings be changed so that its answered firstly by 1st line support before coming through to me. Note I still need to receive phone calls from other team members.  

We have had several users comment that when they select simultaneous to ring to all devices it doesn't happen.  It will only ring one device instead of all at the same time.  This has only happened recently.  Is there is fix or is this a broken feature since the last update?

Hi! I am having problems with a provisioning template for my Poly phones. I am trying to use a provisioning template to assign a vlan to the phone, but have the PC Ethernet port assign a different Vlan for the PC I connect to it. Here is the template thus far: vlan device.set="1"device.net.vlanId.set="1"device.net.vlanId="10"device.net.lan.vlanId.set="1"device.net.lan.vlanId="20" In this example, the phone would be assigned VLAN 10, but the port should tag traffic from the PC port to 20. Thanks!  

We have quite a few phones that have a utilitary function, so when people are searching the directory these locations will come up.  Is there a way to prevent a number, especially a common area, from not returning an extension in the directory search?

I successfully registered my 10DLC information but now am forced to have an opt out on outgoing messages.Is there any way to remove this message?  We do not send promotional messages via zoom.

Zoom is not allowing calls to be connected for one of our users. Each time a call tries to go through to her extension, it comes back with a message of a poor connection and the call drops. Funny thing is she can make calls with video and they connect just fine?  

I just went to a meeting where about 6 or 7 people stated they sent me their information for leads. Unfortunately not a single text is vissible. So I entered my phone number into my cell phone and sent a text to myself and it never came through. So I tried sending a text a text from computer via Zoom and I got the message that my phone had not been setup for 10DLC. I am sadly mistaken because I set that all up a long time ago. My account shows my Campaign was added and is active and that 2 of my numbers (out 0f 3) have been verified and enabled. So why can I not send or receive texts to numbers outside of my partners phone (one of the verified enabled numbers) and her to me. I need clients able to do this.Regards - Greg

My campaign is constantly turned down despite being VERY CLEAR that we do not sell or share information. There is no "central number" and each external-facing staff has their own Zoom Phone number. It's like texting your friend. There's no campaigns or any routing messages or notices going on. Even on Calendly, you only get messages if you schedule a meeting and give us the number in the space where it asks you to put your number to get reminders. Even we know that's not the same as giving blanket permissions. More frustrating is that we are being hung to dry because we do collaborate with other professionals on the client

Hi,Whenever I try to submit a new SMS campaign I receive the following error message:Fail to register SMS campaign due to 400 Bad Request: "[{"code":501,"description":"Length must be between 20 and 320","fields":["helpMessage"]}]". Please contact our support team.Any help would be greatly appreciated, 

Enabled Dial by Name, added it as an IVR option, and uploaded a new greeting to reflect the added option. Everything is working as anticipated except that the Dial by Name option auto presents after the greeting.  Is there a way to turn this off to prevent the behavior?Thanks. 

Hello there! I am new to zoom phone and I will be using it to take incoming calls from my clients. I have set it up on my desktop and mobile phone. I did try to test it out with one of my clients but whenever he calls me, the call notification does not pop up on my screen on either desktop or my phone. I will only found out that someone called because it showed up on the history. According to the person who called me, it say's that I am not available. I have ensured that my status is available and ringtone has been set as well. Need your help on this, please!

Hello Zoom Community Members!    I wanted to inform you about the 10DLC enforcement starting July 10, 2024.   All US and Canada toll and virtual service phone numbers used for SMS/MMS within both the Zoom Phone and Zoom Contact Center services must adhere to industry standards and legal requirements by being included in an approved 10DLC campaign to continue sending SMS/MMS. When trying to assign a phone package to a common area room, I am unable to do it.  It requires you to assign a package, of which I should have plenty of licenses for, and when I click the drop-down, it is blank and says "No Data". 

Hello! I need help figuring out how to set up our zoom phone system to automatically save all the phone recordings to our Dropbox. We have this set up for our zoom video meetings, but I cannot seem to find any support on how to get it set up for phones. It is way too time consuming to manually download every recording. We are transportation company, we don't have the bebsite and you want the Privacy Policy for SMS Cham. My question: we need to create the web site with Privacy Policy only becouse you need it? Or maybe I don’t understand something, I can send you all the information about our company, we are a completely legal company with all documents and insurance. You have no support for why your service has become so inconvenient and complex. 10DLC Brand Name Active !!!! But we can't activate SMS Campaings because we have not the web site.

Hi, We are currently in the process of switching from 3CX to Zoom Phones. We use Yealink T29Gs, and we want to remove the softkeys for Park and RTP Status while talking on the desk phone We want to remove them because it adds the More softkey which means in order to end the call, you have to press More then End Call.   I was able to create a custom soft key that ends the call without pressing More but I was only able to put it second or third on the list. I would really like the ability to remove Park and RTP Status so the More button wouldn't exist. I was also able to manually get rid of the more button by going to the phone web page -> Settings -> Softkey Layout: enabling 'Custom Softkey,' selecting 'Talking' Call State and moving Conference to the 'Uns

Hi! I have a small business, I'll be counseling and it's only me. I have Zoom Workplace Business Pro, and I did this because I wanted my own phone line. However, it has assigned me an extension. When I set up, I think it said I could have it as a personal line, but I guess I didn't fully understand. Is there a way to go back and change this? I do not want to buy an additional line, I just want the phone number I originally bought with no extension.

Am I able to have a call queue for a phone number that is assigned to a user?

When declining a call, you have the option to type a custom message or use one of the preset messages. I would love to use the presets more often instead of writing a custom message every time, but out of three messages (in German), one translation is incorrect (missing a word) and one does not fit my professional context (using the formal "Sie" pronoun). Is there a way to modify these presets?

Hello I am getting an error message that is strange after put in my credit card to pay for my pro account.  Who would I email this screen shot too because I cannot explain it. It eludes to the fact that there is a security issue with my payment.  And I DO NEED this phone service hooked up tonight.   I also need to know how to hook in an actual desk phone.

I currently have 5 zoom phone numbers, but no longer need three of them. Can anyone help me to delete specific numbers from my account as well as stop the billing process. I want to keep two specific numbers, delete the other three and stop being billed.

Why didn't the phone system's technical support department (1-888-799-9666) recognize my host key under the free basic plan even after I changed it?I am planning to upgrade the free plan to Pro (1-9 users) and the comparison chart says Local & 5 GB cloud (per license) for the Recording. Does this mean that I, the user ( a doctoral student) need to have a license for the recording feature?Once I upgrade to the ProPlan, and buy add-ons, will the add-ons be counted toward what I am spending a month or year for the ProPlan, or are they considered a separate monthly or yearly fee that cannot be counted toward what I would be spending a month or year for the ProPlan? Joan Smid (Westminster)(Listener),***********
