When a staff member changes departments or leaves the University,  we assign a new extension or remove that person from Zoom phone. This doesn't remove them everywhere in Zoom Phone. For example, if they are receiving voicemails for another group. Is there a way we can search on a person's email to see if they exist anywhere else in the Zoom Phone portal?

What is the best strategy to provide up to date emergency service information for an individual who has two desk phones.  One desk phone is in the office and another desk phone is used nomadically as he switches from location to location.  For example, one week, he might be on a construction site in Louisville, KY and the next week he might be at a construction site in Chicago, IL.  Knowing the network details (public IP, private IP/subnet, etc.) is difficult and cumbersome to keep up to date.  When using the Zoom Workplace app, the individual is prompted for a new location, but that doesn't seem to affect the physical desk phone.   Let me know if there is a good strategy for handling this type of situation. Many thanks!

I saw another thread on this and the solution is not quite what we need.  We have weekend queues that only have one person in them each weekend.  Sometimes they are in areas with Internet service that is not optimal. But still at least 4G service. We try to have them on Wifi as much as possible but still I'm finding that oftentimes they're phones do not ring when calls come in. I will even test call their extension and they do not get any notification. The answer from Zoom support is to uninstall/reinstall the app and then it will clear out the cache and fix the problem. I have some people who have to do this EVERY WEEK. Does the cache really get corrupted THAT often? I mean, this cannot be a normal type of operation.

Hey all, While we are Zoom WebConferencing users since years, we're transferring more of our services from Cisco Jabber to Zoom. Today we're already using WebConferencing, Presence (incl. Outlook) and TeamChat. Now my findings on Zoom presence status:- Zoom presence works really well if you're a desktop / laptop client only user.If you're away from keyboard it turns absent and if you turn it off it turns off. Also it gives you a persistent OoO status.- If you have the desktop app & the mobile app (IOS) the mobile app takes control once the status would turn away of off. It sets the status automatically to "online mobile". It is a don't care if the mobile app is opened or closed.- If you explicitly set the status in the desktop app (e.g OoO) this status remains active even if you shutdown the desktop app. But once you open the zoom mobile client the status turns "online mobile" and stays "online mobile" even when I

I'm a new user of Zoom Phone, trialing it before deciding whether to turn it on enterprise-wide.  In my test I'm seeing outgoing calls marked as "spam risk" on an AT&T iphone.  The number may be similarly marked on other platforms/carriers; I don't have access to those to test. The only suggestion I've seen in the knowledge base is that I should go to a bunch of services and try to get the number whitelisted.  That seems unreasonable -- this is a number that zoom gave me; surely it should give me a clean number?  I don't think I should have to to try to whitelist it, and I certainly don't want to do that for every individual number in my enterprise.  I've had a case open with support for a couple of days with no update. Any idea?  Thanks!

Somehow a recording started playing on my calls that says the call is being monitored. I did not touch any of the settings, so I don’t know why this is happening. How do I turn this off?Thanks

I want to be able to return a missed zoom phone call using my iPhone sim phone number, but the iPhone call history does not give me the option of calling on my normal number (ie. if I click the number on call history it wants to dial using zoom app and does not give me alternative options). I’m a real estate agent and receive about 50 incoming calls a day. I signed up for zoom phone so I can selectively forward calls to my staff if I’m busy rather than miss call after call. Zoom issued me a phone number, so I am using call forward in my iPhone settings to direct incoming calls to the Zoom phone number.  The phone number zoom provided me is an odd number combination for my geographic location so my customers are choosing to not answer my calls if I call them from zoom (they don’t know that number as it is not the number they dialed). Reading the APAC porting rules it appears I cannot port my mobile number to zoom.&nbsp

Hi all, How might one fix the issue of zoom provisioning every day, which removes the other SIP accounts I've added to my T46s Yealink Phone? They aren't Zoom accounts they are PBX accounts, etc. Is there a way to tell Zoom not to remove the account settings on my IP phone? Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

I've just started using Zoom Phone as part of a trial before the rest of our company moves over. I've been able to sync my iPhone contacts within the Zoom iOS app and they show under "Phone Contacts" in that app, but the desktop app doesn't seem to sync with the phone app. Is there any setting or integration I'm missing? This seems utterly basic so I'd be shocked if phone contact sync to the desktop app is not supported.

I recently ported a number from ATT to Zoom. After using Zoom we found we do not like it. I need to port my number back to my carrier because it is our business number and I have to keep it the same. Absolutely no one will talk to me on the phone because I don't pay for a live agent with my plan???????? Which is the dumbest thing I have ever heard. I had several more things to troubleshoot with them after submitting a ticket and I have yet to get a call from anyone. So if anyone can tell me if it is possible to port my same number back to ATT and how to start this process. TIA

I have a database of contacts in Accelo, which syncs with Google.I'd like to sync those contacts to Zoom, and setup separate call queues based upon whether or not the caller is a known contact (i.e., the caller ID appears in our system) or the contact is unknown (i.e., isn't in the system). I realize this may be a custom integration, but is this technically possible?

Is there any Zoom plan that allows one user to schedule multiple meetings at the same? I work with recruiting and we constantly have more than two Zoom meetings set up, we have an enterprise account and yet Zoom always asks to end one meeting. The current cap is 2.Is there any upgrade to the plan that would allow multiple meetings at the same time? It's been a hastle for us and we're inclined to use rival platforms due to this limitation. 

Hi everyone, We cannot hear our zoom phone ringing as it only rings in the head set. Does anyone know when I am not wearing the headphones how can we hear the phone ring? Unless i am looking at the computer I am not aware of a call. I have unplugged and rely on the the blue tooth but it still doesn't ring outside of the head set. Any ideas on how to fix this.

Title says it all, the recordings are available, but taking 2-4 hours to transcribe. In the meantime, they say '"The recording transcript is processing, please check back later."Since using Zoom Phone for a year, transcription processing has been close to real-time.

I am building a system to get all the Users and their Licenses from our Zoom account.I cannot seem to find anyway of accessing which license a user account has through the API. I know I can get the calling plan used on Zoom phone, but I cannot find any other license specific information within the API.

I recently ported my T-mobile number over to Zoom and thought that the advertised "SMS" capability would at least enable me to continue to get 2FA codes via SMS, but I'm unable to get anything from anybody (human or robot) at this time. After a bunch of digging I found conflicting threads about needing a "direct" number that is not the "main company" number and having to go through the horribly slow and convoluted process of 10DLC.  My number is assigned to just me and is not assigned to any other pool, main line, or group. The only thing I haven't done to troubleshoot is the 10DLC campaign setup process.  I would like Zoom to confirm that you can't receive SMS messages unless the 10DLC process has been completed and if true, explain why users must go through this process to receive SMSs. 10DLC makes sense for outbound messages but I'm really shocked and disappointed if this is true for inbound messages as well. P.S. Hi there, wondering if anyone has managed to setup this calling method. I have a peered an SBC using BYOC/PI can call inbound to a Zoom users phone number when routing from the SBC.I can not call inbound to a Zoom users extension number, I was hoping since the peering is configured on that account the calling to a Zoom users extension in the same account may also work. This would allow calling from another telephony platform connected to the same SBC without all Zoom users requiring a full number.Has anyone managed to get this call type working?

I have a Polycom vvx411 and a bunch of Polycom vvx250's that all provisioned just fine. The one issue I'm having is that on the vvx411, every 10 minutes or so (or less, just a guess) the phone will show a Line:Unregistered error for about a minute, and I won't have a dial tone or phone service during that time. When I click the info button, I get a "Line Information" screen that says "Line 1: BikeShopAdmin (Not Registered)" and below it a server ending in .zoom.us that also says "(not registered 0)" and below that, a really long AOR number ending in zoom.us. I'm actually having this issue with the vvx250's as well, where the dial tone/service is cutting out every ten minutes or so for a minute, but I don't think they're showing the "Line:Unregistered" error, but considering the symptoms are the same, I believe the root cause the be the same. If anyone has any ideas, I'm all ears!

I have been using an Android phone and trying to get a virtual background but every time I tried it comes up with a message saying "An error occurred".

I've added the contacts I am trying to send SMS to to my Zoom account. However, when I start a conversation with them the title of the group message displays their phone numbers, and not the contact name. 

We are using Zoom with a group of older Polycom desk phones. They work fine most of the time, but periodically all phones will report as Unregistered. I have check the firewall and Internet connection and there is no disruption in connectivity.I was wondering if there a way to allow keep-alives from Zoom through my firewall without opening to many ports or IPs through.
