I have a bit of a weird situation. My companies receptionist is retiring. We will have three different people rotating and answering phones. Trying to think of the best way to handle it. Our main line goes to an Auto Receptionist that directs phone calls during business hours to the receptionist that is retiring. If our receptionist doesn't answer, it goes to three members of our support team in round robin. Now that the three support members will be sitting at the reception desk, we want the one currently at the desk to answer first, and then it overflow to the other two.  My main question is what is a good way to allow whoever is at the front to be the main person without me changing the call routing every time it changes? My solution for now will be to have support log out of their account and into the receptionist account whenever they sit at the reception desk. Thanks in advance for any advice!

Good morning! We are experiencing some of our Poly Edge phones losing the BLF and Speed dial positions assigned by Zoom user settings. It seems to be temporarily resolved by a phone power cycle. Any thoughts one what could be causing this?

Hi all, I’m having an issue with BLF not updating on my Cisco 8841 phones with Zoom Phone. The BLF keys aren’t reflecting presence changes, but they work fine on the 3 Yealink T58A devices in the same setup.Here’s what I’ve tried: Verified BLF key configuration in Zoom Phone.Ensured the Cisco 8841 has the latest firmware.Checked provisioning files, restarted both the phone and Zoom system.Double-checked network settings and reviewed device logs (no BLF-related errors).BLF works on Yealink T58A devices, but not on Cisco 8841.Any suggestions or similar experiences? I need some help setting up our Zoom phone system. We are a clinic and we currently have (and only need) one phone number. When a patient calls that number, I need it to ring to 4 different phones. What is the best way to set this up? If one person answers, can another person also be on the phone making their own outgoing call, etc?

The process of using Zoom.us to update a personal voice mail greeting feels unnecessarily cumbersome.  Once logged in to the site the user has to remember if they are supposed to update Greeting & Menu: Connect to operator or leave voicemail  or are they supposed to update Leave voicemail instruction? Once in the correct section it's 7 additional clicks to get to the point they can re-record their greeting.  I'll ignore the fact that I can't prevent users from using the Zoom text to speech feature or at least eliminate the terribly unprofessional voice options. It's too much for some users.  To that end I've considered having them use *86 to simply record over their previous greeting.  Doing so mimics traditional phone systems.  Without having to remember *86 or use the Zoom.us process, how can a user gain access to their mailbox setup?  I can't create a contact since

HiThis problem is somewhat intermittent but is more often a problem than not. When using Zoom phone on the desktop app, I can neither hear nor be heard. The desktop app works fine for meetings and using the 'test microphone' and 'test speaker' options works successfully. I have deleted and reinstalled Zoom. (And rebooted multiple times).  Using Windows 11. The Zoom app on my cell phone works fine. Thanks for your helpMitch

I have downloaded the csv file to be used as an import for configuring keys and positions on a phone.We have Polycom VVX 350s and I would like to reuse this csv file across a few dozen people. I tried to just upload a file with keys 2 thru 6 because key one is already configured.That was not acceptable, it wants Key 1. How do I code the csv so it will not overwrite everyone's phone with my extension?Is that possible, or do I need some other csv that will have everyone's phone on it and I have to configure every column for everyone before uploading? I hope this makes sense.Thank you!

I have 1 user at my company where their voicemails do not show up in the Zoom Workplace app.  Has anyone every encountered this before?  The app shows that she has however many unread voicemails, but she cannot see them. I setup a desk phone for her for the time being so that she can clear them out. Thank you!

If I am picking up the call, I have no idea who Chad, Jamey, or Dave were actually trying to get ahold of because it will not tell me.  Our old phone system let me know that if Terry was calling for Rick, I could pick up the phone and say, “You have reached Rick "LN removed" desk this is Lauren, How can I help you.” How can we get this setup correctly.  If anyone in the Call Queue see that Bob is calling for Joe.  Joe is not in the office, but Susan sees that the call is for Joe and can answer it and answer confidently.

I am in Australia and have just joined Zoom.   When creating an overseas  contact  contacts do I have to include the full international phone prefix, eg. 001144 for the UK. 

I'm based in the Philippines and I need a U.S. phone number primarily to receive voicemails, SMS, and sometimes calls from the U.S. However, I also need the ability to make outbound calls and send SMS to the U.S.. Note that outbound calls to the US will be rare and usually short. I'm considering the most basic plan ($10/month) since I don’t need unlimited calling. Would this plan cover my needs? Thanks!  

When a user is opted into a call queue and is on a meeting (video/multiple users), that meeting does not prevent queue calls from coming through. If the user is on a call, though, that will prevent queue calls from coming through to that user. Is there a way to prevent calls from coming through when the user is on a meeting as well?

Hi All, I currently have setup an Auto-Receptionist to handle incoming external lines. This has a greeting set to advise that calls are recorded for quality purposes etc. This then routes to a call queue that has the team setup to answer. We used to have it setup so the external lines were going direct to the call queue with the greeting setup there as well. We found that if another office transferred the call, the customer would hear the call recording advice more than once. This was very frustrating to them. The good thing about this setup was the level of reporting that we would get on which external line did they call, the number of abandoned calls during the call recording announcement etc. Unfortunately this level of detail has been lost as the A/R reporting is no where near as good. My question is if there is a way to satisfy both requirements ie to have the C/R announcement play only once on a call (regardless of wheth

I'm creating a CAP using a Common Area Phone package and only assigning an extension. There is no phone number or DID assigned. There is a desk phone needed - Poly Edge E220. Is there a way to restrict this phone from making external calls? I've created speed dial buttons for the key internal numbers it needs to reach. I've disabled international calling. But I can't find a setting to stop it dialing other external calls that will be metered. Am I missing something?  Thanks,Chris

We want to use Zoom phone to handle all calls in auto attendant mode AND have the voicemails left in the main mailbox. We have been able to set up auto attendant and have calls routed to the attendant mailbox (#801) but have not been successful in getting the messages at the #800 level.

Hey, It seems that we are unable to use certain special characters within the comments field of the Zoom phone integration with Salesforce.  When trying to add either '#' or '&' to the comments box, the following error is returned. "Unexpected end-of-input: was expecting closing quote for a string value at [line:1, column:265]" We have the field synced to a long text area in our task object.  Can anyone please advise? Thanks

I've tried to contact Zoom sales, support, and chat but I have not been able to get an answer. I'm one of the thousands affected by Skype discontinuing, so I am looking for alternative phone platforms. I see Zoom added phones in 2019, so potentially a good option since it seems to function just like Skype (your own phone number, cellular data or wifi calling, make or receive calls). I like Zoom as a platform and use it regularly for video conferencing.  I've had a Zoom Pro account since 2016 and, therefore, have legacy pricing of $99.90 per year.  I don't want to lose that because Zoom conferencing is vital to my work. It might be nice to have phone and video conferencing bundled together. First question: Can I port my Skype number to Zoom? (lots of places say they will accept ported numbers, but the fine print says they won't accept Skype numbers. I have not found one yet that accepts Skype numbers)
