I would like to know if it's possible to find out who turned on transcript function during the meeting. I saw that the message 'This meeting is being transcribed' popped up in my meeting but none of the participants are admitting that they turned it on.

We are an organization that as a whole records 90% of it's meetings, & can't turn off the recording lock. However, 10% of meetings (That are re-occurring meetings) would like to not have to turn of the recording every meeting. Is it possible to still have accounts recording locked, but "Opt out" certain recurring meetings? 

Hello,unfortunately, I have another question:I work with two screens. The program that needs to be recorded runs on the main screen, while I see the Zoom tools and the participant list/videos on the second monitor. However, when I record the session, the participant images are displayed in the recording and partially cover important information from the program being shown. How can I prevent this permanently?I start Zoom on a MacBook Pro, Tahoe from the Zoom website.Thank you very much for your help.helpa

Hi!  I've been having some issues with zoom when I try to log in via SSO and join a meeting  - "The Code Execution cannot proceed because UIBase.dll was not found. Reinstalling the program may fix this problem" I get the same error for CMMlib.dll, Duilib.dll, and MSAALib.dll. I have tried using Clean zoom to uninstall and reinstall zoom, used the MSI installer, and also can see all of these files in the zoom folder, so they definitely exist. Any advice much appreciated!  

Hi, I have started to use the mustache virtual filter out of curiosity. It looks natural. People can tell if it's real or not. So I went on a team daily with the mustache. All of a sudden, I have way more authority, I am confident, I am in my A game. The ascent was meteoric. I get respect, and tasks I assign in the morning are done before EOD. Suddenly, projects meet the schedule. I became a celebrity. I am well-known and recognized downtown. I had to act to support this new lifestyle, so I changed the color from the default dark brown to a black mustache. The next thing you know, I am taking all critical decision-making meetings with this black mustache. I am everywhere. Girls, booze, my own driver. I am the king of the hill. But lately, something started to break. I feel like this mustache is not thick enough to sustain my new lifestyle. I need a thicker mustache to fuel my success. That is why I am making this request. Please create a feature to make the mustache thicker. I

I get automatically logged out of zoom Workplace, when I login on a different computer (Macbook) with the same account. This is very annoying and I don't see a reason why. I'm also logged in on my iPhone and iPad simultaneously. Anybody knows a way out?

I am using a MacBook Air laptop for zoom meetings. At some point in the last month I chose a blue background for video, that now I cannot get rid of... I can cover it with another background, but nowhere in the video settings for zoom can I eliminate this blue background.\The problem is, since I put it up, now my face and body or parts of me disappear and reappear when in a zoom meeting. Can anyone help me to eliminate this issue? Like I said, there is nothing in the normal video settings that works. Thank you!

Since last week, whenever I join a meeting, after a delay, I get the error message "Virtual background is still loading".  This appears to be permanent.  It is still possible to turn on the video, also after a delay, but I can not blur my background as I would wish. I have a MacBook Pro (i7-6820HQ @2.70GHz) running MacOS Monterey 12.7.6 with plenty of free memory. Does anyone have any idea of how to cure this?

I've tried to uninstall zoom, clean registry, boot PC, and use MSI to insure clean 64 bit install.  This places the install in Program Files.  Confirm that 64 bit is running via task manager.  Within a day, the 64 bit install is gone, Zoom directory in program files is gone, but Zoom now running 32 bit client with ProgramFiles(x86) Zoom directory created.  This is ....  Also, the "check for updates" disappears from the Zoom desktop.  It is there when first installed.  Running version 5.11.11.  Surely I'm not the only person in the world with this problem?

Hi every one, I am preparing presentations for zoom meetings and wanted to ask if there's a way to view speaker notes while screen sharing slides. I know speaker notes are easy to use in tools like power point or google slides , but during zoom meetings it's not always clear how to keep notes visible without participants seeing them. 

I have had  a personal Zoom account for more than three years and lately when I attempt to join a meeting or start meetings that I have scheduled I get the following message: "You must update to the latest version of Zoom to join this meeting. Contact your IT admin to update." I don't have an IT admin, so I attempted to do the update myself. When I scroll to the Downloads section on the bottom of the Zoom home screen and click to download the latest version, I am asked to sign in to my account. When I attempt to sign in to my account, I get the following message: "Your app version needs to be 5.12.2 or higher to sign in. Please contact your IT team to update your version of Zoom." So I can't join or run meetings unless I update the Zoom version, and I can't sign in to update the Zoom version unless I am on a later version. So I am stuck. I did see some community entries here that suggested uninstalling and reinstalling Zoom. That sounds like a rather unprofes

I need to join a meeting that lasts 3 hours.  I'm NOT the host, just a participant.  MY Zoom plan is the Basic which limits me to a 40 minute meeting.  I don't use Zoom for business and only use about 5 times per year.  Will I get cut off after 40 minutes from a meeting I am a participant and NOT the host?

Hello, ever since updated to Zoom workspace, my video settings don't show the options for @virtual background, filters, blur background or touch up appearance. I am using an Asus Aspire 5 and have the Zoom Workspace Pro plan. I had full use of these settings before the update. Any help would be really appreciated.  Thank you, Sharon

I am using a zoom app on my iPad, and a recording button cannot be found anywhere.   A recording option is not included in the meeting settings, even after I added  “screening records”  in the control centre.   I greatly appreciate if anybody can tell me what’s going on and how I can add a recording option.  Thank you.  

Hi there, I'm running Zoom 5.11.11 on macOS Monterey 12.5, and have an Apple Studio Display. I've noticed the Center Stage feature is on when I'm in Zoom meetings (the camera tracks you as you move around), however I can't find any setting to turn it off. It seems that this setting does exist on iOS/iPad OS, but not on macOS. Is there a way to turn this off on Zoom on the Mac? Thank you!

Not sure where the suggestion box is, or whether this is the right place to bring this up, but-- It would be great if Zoom could add the ability for an individual user to set a logo or virtual foreground while on camera, regardless of the user's chosen background. Like a foreground layer or some such. This way, I could have my team's logo displayed in the corner of my screen and still keep my background of choice, be it Blur, Natural or Virtual background.  Thanks for your consideration!

After downloading the Zoom Workspace on my Acer laptop, I no longer have the Virtual background, filters and touch up appearance options in the video settings. I have the Zoom Workplace Pro plan.  Any help is appreciated. I have not been able to get any help from Zoom support. Thank you, Sharon  

I just recorded a meeting as co-host with my Android phone. Now I can't find it anywhere. Where are the recordings from the Zoom workplace app stored? 

My recording was downloaded to my device as a local recording and the file shows  as "double click to convert". When I double click, nothing happens, nothing opens. I have tried several times and also restarted my computer. This is on a Windows computer. 

As a zoom admin I am looking to enable the option "Automatically sign users out after a specified time" under the security settings. I have already contacted the support team with a question about how the sign-out happens, which was answered. However I am still looking  for more information, if anyone has had experience on enabling such option.This article - https://support.zoom.com/hc/en/article?id=zm_kb&sysparm_article=KB0061708 states that "The settings to automatically log you out after a certain amount of time depends on the configuration set by your account owner or admins." however there's no further clarification.Currently I have no time-out set, meaning that the zoom client for my users stay logged-in indefinitely. Dear Zoom, I'm running Zoom meetings on my iPad (12.9-inch 3rd generation iPad Pro, iPadOS 18.7.1). Even though I've got "Original sound for musicians" activated in my settings, my participants can't hear loud musical recordings played from a nearby speaker, even though they can hear my voice very clearly while I speak in the same room as the music. This seems to be a new phenomenon because in past years they've been able to hear those recordings played out of the same speaker without issue. Can you help me solve this? I've tried looking for other settings to change within your iPad app, but the "Original sound for musicians" toggle switch is the only one I can find. There are other threads on this forum dealing with similar problems, but Zoom's reps so far seem to be mostly offering solutions that would pertain to Zoom on a computer, not on an iPad. Can anyone help?

Over the last couple of weeks, I've experienced an issue where the bottom taskbar is appearing and disappearing on its own. I have it set to hide. My cursor is nowhere near the Zoom window, not even on the same monitor. I just ran the latest update to see if it made a difference. It didn't. It's very annoying and frustrating as I'm trying to record a clean video feed. Running on MacOS 15.7.1.

Hi there,  I am trying to access Zoom Analytics. However, I don't seem to have a page dedicated to this. On the articles I have read, they all claim that I should have a page titled 'Analytics and Reports'. I only seem to have 'Reports', but nothing else. I want to be able to see how many zoom-call participants shared a message in the chat and how many people engaged with a resource link. Please could someone help? Thank you!
