Video quality different when recording alone than with several peopleFor example, if I'm recording a video course and I'm alone in Zoom, the video quality is fine.The video quality changes if I have several people in the zoom, then the recording is much worse.I would like to offer recorded video zooms with several people for sale. However, the video quality is so poor that I can't offer this.- Paid Zoom subscription- I record locally- Check mark for Video=HD => is active- Apple device,  2-3 year old- The video display during the meeting is also good.If I only record myself, the quality is fine.As soon as I have several people with me, the recorded quality is much worse.No change to the settings between the two recording variants.What could be the reason for this?What can I do? Thank you for your answersBest regardsManuela

I have been a zoom member for a long time and been trying to find a way to activate the video audio transcribing feature on my profile, asked the support and not sure what it is not working I don't want to use another app.I know this feature is available in the pro plan. I recorded- Cloud Recording and I approved the transcription in my profile.Can any one help?

As of the 6.1.15 update I can't figure out how to get Zoom to show me my own non-video profile picture. For example, when I'm in a meeting with four participants and I have turned off my camera, Zoom only shows the other three participants' pictures or video feeds in the gallery view. The other participants see my picture just fine, and I see theirs. If I turn my camera on, Zoom starts showing me my video feed in an inset pane on the gallery view, but then when I turn it back off, it takes that away again. How do I get Zoom to show me how I'm visible to other people when my camera is off in this new version? This used to work fine, but it seem like it broke in the new update 

In the post-secondary education world, instructors need to provide spaces for students to collaborate with each other other than during class time. In order to provide private spaces to meet, instructors would like to open some 'virtual team spaces' for different groups of students in different classes. This involves using the 'no fixed time' and 'Join before host' settings. As it stands, instructors (hosts) can schedule as many meetings as they want but only 2 of those meetings can be open/used at the same time regardless if the host is present or not. This is not workable for how our instructors utilize the system. some instructors have 4 different courses and each one of them could have team projects that need to use these open spaces at any given time during the day/week/semester.

I have had this issue for almost a year, never got a resolution, and now it is has snowballed.I was trying to edit settings of a Zoom meeting so that its not 'Waiting room only' and 'Authorized users only.' When trying to save this setting, I am logged into GCalendar, and it auto-saves the recurrence to the current time (it was 11:52 am) today. Then I edited the Title, date/time in Zoom, but now the new one, recurring (maybe forvever) at 11:52, is still in GCal, but as a non-recurring meeting, so i literally cannot delete it. Its not in Zoom listing, and to delete in GCal I would need to delete 1 at a time, and I don't think theres an end date. Video is lagging beyond audio. I have a NEXIGO camera with audio. Work great until after restoring my computer.It also did it when I first install it a few years ago. But clear up about a week or two later. I hope it will do it again.

Over the last month or so, during twice weekly meetings, a participant informed me that when a speaker is spotlighted, or if her iPad is switched to Active Speaker view, there is audio, but no video is displayed.When a screen is shared, for a picture or a video, then the shared video and audio runs fine, but once the screen is no longer shared, it goes back to a blank screen.When Gallery view is active, she can see other participants with no problem. It's only with Active Speaker view.Her iPad is the most recently released one. The iOS and Zoom apps are all running the most current updates.I logged into the meeting with my iPad which is older, not up to date with iOS but IS up to date with Zoom and I have the exact same issues, so it isn't a user error.I've looked through the settings in the zoom account and on my iPad but I don't see any settings that would seem to affect this.Any suggestions?

I un-installed it because the update wouldn't work; had to force quit that.  In the last 6 months when using Zoom my MacBook Air has frozen up.  Can still watch the Zoom but can't use any controls for Zoom or on my computer; have had to use the power button to shut it down.  Today I had the idea of re-installing Zoom but now I can't get it back on the computer.  I tried to use a ticket for Zoom but even though I have an account number, etc., it says that I am not associated with an active account?  HELP

I booked a Zoom Meetinhg.  I then upgraded to Pro.Will the meeting be restricted to my earlier limit or will the Pro upgrade be in place?Or must I delete the earlier limited meeting and re-book under the upgraded Pro status?

I have a problem, I'm trying to set up live-streaming to my Facebook group, and I see that in my Zoom account the option Custom LIVe Streaming Service is unchecked, but I cannot tick the box because it says it's locked by Admin, does anyone know how I can make myself the admin, I am the owner of the Zoom account thanks  Eliana 

Hello- appears Zoom was just updated and now every time I talk the  'X is speaking' notification pops up- it is SO ANNOYING and distracting- how do I make this go away?? Thank you. 

My video comes on as black background with a white box with a line through it.  I didn't change anything and the computer did this on its own.  The camera is built into my laptop.  My drivers are updated.  My camera is not blocked.  The correct camera is selected.  I restarted Zoom and that didn't help.  This happened once before.  I couldn't figure out how to get my camera on.  It came on by itself after a few days.  Now a month later, it's happened again. How can I solve this?? Thanks, Vivian

When I try to cancel a meeting by accessing from my outlook calendar, I get this error code 1110.  The meeting will not delete or cancel from my calendar.  

I have a Pro account and want to be sure it's recording in high quality HD because we use the recordings afterward. On an ecamm Integration call, they said we'd need to request that's turned on. How may I have this turned on on my account? The Virtual Assistant won't let me talk to a person and I can't find out where to start a ticket...  

We have Starlink. It works very well normally. However, whenever we are on zoom, the streaming will frequently halt and freeze,  every now and then, sometimes for almost a minute, then resume. Only on Zoom. Everything else streams fine - music, video, etc. Thanks for helping to solve this frustrating problem.

I have a weekly recurring meeting that I want the waiting room enabled for. I don't want the rest of my meetings to have a waiting room enabled. However, the only thing I know how to do from the Zoom support article is enable waiting rooms for all meetings. Then, when I go into the individual meeting's settings, the checkbox is greyed out, i.e., I cannot edit it. This is so frustrating as I used to be able to choose which meetings had waiting rooms or not--it wasn't an account-level setting but rather an individual meeting setting. Can anyone help? Every time I set up a new  Zoom meeting I get a message in my e-mail inbox saying that the meeting has been deleted.  This just started happening recently.  What is causing this and how do I fix it?

I'm watching a previously recorded video through my web browser and playback immediately is paused when resumed. This happens whenever I click on a transcript or seek forward in time. E.g., I click on a transcript with a timestamp of 0:33 or skip forward 46 seconds, I press play and then playback is instantly paused. Does anyone have experience with this? Trying a different browser didn't solve it.

Hello, I want to set up so that all participants (including myself as host) will be able to join the meeting with camera and microphone always on upon entering the meeting. Is this possible?  

I did an important interview on Sunday.  I just discovered it has been automatically deleted. Can I recover this important interview?

I've got an interview today.  They have sent me a zoom link.  I have to have a virtual background bc I live in a small apartment.  While I've opened a zoom account and put a virtual background on. Will this background come on when I hit the link for the interview?  I was told to only hit the link when I'm ready to start the interview so I will have no time to hit the filter button prior for that call. I need to know now so I can start moving furniture to have a blank wall  Thank you

I have not been able to join Zoom Meetings for 2 weeks.  I'm getting "Unable to Connect: Check to make sure you are connected to a stable network that is not blocked by a firewall or proxy."  Error Code 5003.  I've tried a number of proposed solutions including uninstall/re-install Zoom.  Can anyone help?
