In a free version I could easily give my students a mouse control for them to do dif tasks. Yesterday I bought an annual pro subscription and that useful feature just disappeared 😞 Though it was the ONLY reason I actually chose zoom over lots of other options. There's 'slide control' now--a student can move a mouse cursor but can't click, or anything. I've looked through all the settings and recommended solutions and can't find how to solve it. Where is the 'remote control' I have to use according to instructions? 

Hello, I have tried to install Zoom on my Desktop; however, after it shows the installation bar, Zoom closes out and is no longer open. I have tried uninstalling it normally, using the CleanZoom.exe, and installing it with Administrative privileges, disabling my Anti-Virus, clearing cache and all that. However, nothing changes.  I am assuming something failed in the actual installation since I can see errors in the installer.txt file inside %APPDATA%/Zoom . During our meetings we commonly have speakers scheduled for a certain amount of time, e.g. 10 minutes. Some speakers just start riffing... If I'm the meeting host, I keep the speakers on time through a different messaging service, e.g. Slack, so there is zero possibility of my activities affecting the session, my participation, the speaker's participation, or any chat logs. But that's awkward. When it's a short presentation, I have to send timer messages just minutes after they get started. The Zoom Timer app is either useful to only me or absolutely everybody. That's no good. (Also, why is it not smart enough to work with "Mirror My Video"?) In a perfect world, with a perfect timer app:I set an overall meeting timer of, say, 60 minutes, subdivided into me (2), Alice (15), me (1), Bob (10), me (1), Chad (15), me (1), and overall Q&A (whatever remains as "flexible" time)? The timer should also show the overall meeting elapsed

The last 2 meetings I hosted, the meeting just closed out of nowhere- probably around the 20-minute mark. I have the paid version. Has this happened to anyone else? 

We are about to start a 10-session training for new members to our organization. We want to create one link that will be used for each of the sessions. We see that that is possible. My question or concern is what happens when we record the sessions. Since the link will have the same titles associated with it, with each new meeting overwrite the recording from the last one. Or, are they identified and saved by dates? It is imperative that we have recordings for students who miss meetings to use for make up.

Cuando ingreso al zoom escucho sin ningún tipo de problema. Cuando la otra persona comparte pantalla, escucho lo que dice, pero cuando pone música la escucho entrecortada. No uso auriculares. Si pongo auriculares, bluetooth escucho bien, pero cuando hablo mi sonido sale como si estuviese dentro de un túnel o cacerola. Quiero poder escuchar bien sin auriculares. I recently made changes to a webinar that we had scheduled. Soon after making the changes, i realised that all the details of the 250+ registrants was lost. Now the total registrations is showing as 0. The meeting ID and other things are same.How can i get back the details of all those people so that i can re-register them ? Or how can i undo the changes made?IMPORTANT - PLEASE HELP

According to the doc, quote "Contact Zoom Support to enable the Meeting SDK for Web 720p feature on your account. After contacting Support, allow up to 3 business days for the feature to be enabled. You must also select the Group HD option in your Zoom web profile settings." But the problem is every time I try to contact support (via the chat window), I got connected to the bot, so I asked the bot for speaking to a human, well, it is smart enough to know what I want, but still rejected my request because "Unfortunately, your account does not have access to live chat support." and asked me to either look at the doc or try get help in the community, that's why I'm here, stuck and unhappy, this is mess of a dead loop have to say.

I have the owner role and have reviewed endless posts on how to be allowed to change "lock by admin" functions. I'm not sure if later updates have changed this process. For me, the "role" button does not function. I don't need to be admin. But as the person who pays for this account, I want to be able to turn on and off everything I want. I don't want to be locked out of anything. To me, this should be the default. 

I am planning to host a meeting for an organization, but the meeting will be open to the public.  We need to take a poll during the meeting, but only allow members of the organization to vote in the poll.  Non-members may attend the meeting but we do not want them to vote in the poll.  How can this be accomplished?  Is there a way to register participants as members/non-members of the organization and then limit polling only to members?  Thanks.

 I am missing the record button on the toolbar for both meetings and webinars.  I record to the cloud and it starts automatically but I can't stop or pause it. Thanks for your help.

I recently participated in a Zoom meeting.  The meeting owner recorded the meeting but forgot to turn on audio transcriptions.Is there any way for me or the meeting owner to generate a transcript now that the meeting is over?

 I am trying to figure out how I can get Zoom to list participants that join a meeting in the Chat as it happens and to have Zoom list who left the meeting in Chat as it happens. This was working on one of the accounts that I used until yesterday (08/22). Does anyone know how to turn this fearture on?   

Hi, I have a Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G running android 14 (hyperos 1.0.7.0), and zoom runs great except when I try to switch to another app, there's a 40% chance Zoom will crash, which makes it hard to share my screen during meetings, even when the phone is only just 2 other apps same thing happens, is there any way to contact the developers so they can look into it? I just got this phone and would not be nice to have to change it only because Zoom has this issue. No other app has this issue. Thanks!

Hi, I'm on Windows 11 with the Zoom app. My computer specs are: Intel 13600KF, RX6800XT, 32GB RAM, 2TB SSD, connecting to the internet wirelessly. I start a Zoom meeting, and if I click on any of the options (Chat, Participants, etc) the window gets opaque and if I click again it will crash the window, after which it will restart and put me back in the meeting. If I don't click again, I can still see my video live and hear everyone in the call- but I cannot do anything or the app will crash. Even if I try to just start the meeting and move the window on my monitor, it will also crash. I don't get any error codes, the window just quits and reopens itself back into the meeting. Thanks for any help.

My zoom automatically records at the start of each meeting. I manually end recording. How can I cancel that so it doesn't happen at the start of a new meeting?

I did an upgrade of the new version of Zoom but now My students cant use my general ID personal meeting for our lessons. If I copy that link and I want use it for every our meetings now the Id participant change every time.  What can I do ? @membership  Valeria 

Hey, I realized when I am in a meeting in Zoom - Teams picks up and puts me as busy on teams.  however, when i am in Teams meeting, zoom doesn't pick up and shows I am available. This is causing a lot of issues where i get calls from other people since they can't see I am in a meeting. Any way to solve this issue? Some one told me about bi directional but my meetings get messed up or ghost. 

Are Passcodes required now on all Zoom meetings or can I bypass using them

I use Indeed to schedule interviews with potential candidates.  They allow for third party video conferencing, but I need to paste a video link.  I do it this way because Indeed has access to my calendar so the candidate can pick a mutually beneficial time.  The problem is, I dont know where to get the video link without first creating a dummy interview in Outlook and than copying that link to Indeed to send to the client. When the client picks a time, I then have to go back to Outlook to edit the dummy interview so that we are using the same link.

I am taking a class via Zoom, but I do not want to download the app to my laptop. I prefer to use it in the browser window. However, I cannot find a gallery view option in the Zoom screen. When I open the settings, there is nothing there, nor is there the icons in the upper corner like I used to see in the app at my old job. Is there no option of using gallery view when on your browser? It is very distracting to have the speaker constantly changing any time someone coughs or moves their chair or something.

started this week out of nowhere, no changes in my gear and I have all top of the line Mac laptop. downloaded latest zoom and reinstalled and doesn't fix it and I have an extremely fast hard wired connection. video is fine but all incoming audio is garbage. 

When we pause our camera our profile picture takes the place of the video image. I've noticed when some people pause their video their profile picture that takes its place is smaller while other people's pictures take up the entire frame. How do I get my profile picture to consume the whole frame when I pause my video instead of cropping down in size?

Greetings - I have a use case were I'm in need to have a single Zoom session and be able to show half of the participants slide set A and the other half of the participants view slide set B while keeping the group as a whole so they can use mics and camera and not use breakout rooms.  In a perfect world I could assign 50% of the participants as group A, the other 50% as group B and have an option of what I share with each group while in a Zoom session as Host. Setting up a full AV table with audio/video mix- and so on is not a path I wish to go down but as of now I don't see a way to setup what I'm looking for. Latest version of Zoom Workplace is my platform. Thanks
